The Falconeer is an open world air combat game, featuring frenetic aerial dogfights and deep exploration of the mysterious open world of The Great Ursee. Before we start I need to say don't expect weird things people because this game is meant to be chill and calm and quit pleasurable and atmospheric. Don't go in and expect horde fights or great war horns etc.The Falconeer is an aerialThe Falconeer is an open world air combat game, featuring frenetic aerial dogfights and deep exploration of the mysterious open world of The Great Ursee. Don't go in and expect horde fights or great war horns etc.The Falconeer is an aerial combat game against a backdrop of acrylic-painted skies which allows you to take majestic screenshots and immerse yourself within..There's so little amount of games on the market that makes me as chill as this one, and I was so relaxed while I was playing it your surroundings the environment everything is just perfect .However, it's not an arcade game and it's definitely not action all of the time.
That's because a huge part of the game is flying around an open map, running various missions for various settlements dotted around a mostly water covered area. The Falconeer’s emptiness makes it atmospheric and beautiful, leaving space for the shifting weather and looming landmarks to set the tone. But it’s also a weakness that keeps it from being good and not absolutely a stunning experience for Xbox One owners and even the lucky Xbox Series X gamers. In the end it just feels like too much time is spent journeying through empty space, and the sparse additional distractions beyond the missions just aren't quite enough to fill that void,

Yet I just can't deny that it's one of the best games I played this year I'm glad they released it before the year ended it should be on Steam Awards .

    Super Cool premise.
Feels like an open-world Air combat Panzer Dragoon.
at 120fps on the Series X is felt in every bit of control The art style is gorgeous and the Graphics design is simple yet nice to look at. The music is addicting. Combat is simply incredible and fun to experience, or tho it feels like some sections I would like to go back and play over and over. Some not so much.

Well worth the $45au with plenty of replay potential.

Can't believe this was made by one person? That is nothing short of astonishing

Not bad not my usual type of game but great for an indie title would recommend to get it at a discount

Looks Plays and feel like a lazy mobile game port. Cant believe I paid as much as I did for this, but the developer made it sound like some state of the art next gen title running at 120 FPS, which is a lies BTW, it dosent .

This game is emptier than early Sea of Thieves and No Mans Sky. I get that it's an indie game, but this is one of the Series X's launch titles and I'm sorry but it is a joke.

The Falconeer introduces us to the unique world of the Ursee, but while the setting is there to draw you in, the experience fails to provide the variety needed to keep you intrigued and falls into a cycle of repetitive missions.

While it has its fair share of flaws, a compelling world that is rich with secrets and lore, alongside beautiful graphics and engaging flight controls, help The Falconeer stand out and stake its claim to your attention.

It’s a lovely looking game, but The Falconeer just doesn’t entertain like it should. From its repetitive missions to its story that you’ll quickly stop caring about, it fails to capture your attention in the long term, while occasional frustration in combat puts a bit of a downer on the gameplay. Just flying around in its world can be quite a calming experience though. Silver linings and all that.
