    I gave 9 because Shinji Mikami is not a director but as a producer. (I know it's a lame excuse)

    If you are a big fan of The Evil Within, you should like this game as well.

    I hope Tango will make The Evil Within 3 in the future.

Also ich sage euch warum für mich the evil within 2 ein Meisterwerk ist und alle Resident evil spiele übertrifft und fangen wir mit der Story an was die meisten Resident evil Spiele nicht haben vor allen gute Story und the evil within 2 ist ein parade Beispiel wie gute Geschichten in horror spielen funktionieren von vorne bis hinten spanened man weiß nie was mit der Tochter passiert und warum auch deine frau verschwunden ist und alles ist so spannend aufgebaut das man nie weiß was als nächstes passiert. Dan diese brutale Atmosphäre oder Sound alles passt von der grafik will ich ganicht reden die ist extrem gut und das Horror ist auch sehr gut hält sich meistens in allen Sand box arialen Konstant gut .,Dan Reden wir mal über die Charaktere die sind sehr spannend geschrieben und die nebenmissionen sind sehr gut ich liebe einfach dieses Spiel und egal in welchem Bereichen op horror, Atmosphäre oder sound einfach geil und ein muss für alle Horror fans… Expand

    Excellent game. Very good balance of survival horror/ action. Great scenario that closed many plot holes of the first game.
    The only negative thing is the enemies 's AI.

    Historia: 9.5/10. Es muy buena pese a que se enfoca principalmente en el drama lo cual la vuelve un poco cliché.

    Gameplay: 10/10. A diferencia de la pésima jugabilidad del primer juego, la cual era muy tosca y molesta, aquí se esforzaron en pulir al máximo esos detalles que vuelven la experiencia mucho más cómoda y eficiente.     Banda Sonora: 9/10. Se queda detrás del primer juego que tenía una banda sonora mucho más inmersiva pero tampoco es que este mal sino simplemente bien.

    Rejugabilidad: 10/10. Hay un total de cinco niveles de dificultad y la opción de Nueva Partida+ para cada una exceptuando el Modo Clásico. Para los que lograron la proeza de dominar al 100% el primer juego probablemente querrán irse directo a las dificultades más altas; afortunadamente el juego es más prudente con respecto a la dificultad a diferencia del primero que la mayoría del tiempo era muy injusto.

    Veredicto y nota final: 9.7. Es superior al primer juego muy a pesar de que se pierde la atmósfera tenebrosa optando por algo más práctico.    … Expand

    The worst sequel I've ever played. The story is just boring and not related to the first game at all. Even Sebastian is so different from the first game. The villains are all weak and boring. The gameplay lacks qualities. Such a disappointment.

    A massive 9, cause it's better than the first one. The only negative point is the lack of horror, as jump-scare and boss that made you bristle.

    In other hand, we have a more vast arsenal and a "open world" with a exploration that rewards you. If you love horror and shooting games (any of the both), it's a game you should play.     I think this game takes itself too seriously. where should I start… well, the first problem is the protagonist. It feels like they wanted to give Seb more personality than the first game, but they definitely failed to do that. EW2 Seb is just a garbage character, who isn't very realistic and feels like anime in a bad way. I cringed at some of his overacting and cheesy lines. And he isn'tI think this game takes itself too seriously. where should I start… well, the first problem is the protagonist. It feels like they wanted to give Seb more personality than the first game, but they definitely failed to do that. EW2 Seb is just a garbage character, who isn't very realistic and feels like anime in a bad way. I cringed at some of his overacting and cheesy lines. And he isn't even good as a sad-dad protag. I feel that devs emphasized his sad-dadness in this game to make him more human and to make players be sorry for him(I remember one of the developers in tango proudly tweeted like "This game's Sebastian is daddy Sebastian!" on twitter before the game was released), but he isn't really a good dad in this game. His character is very poorly written and poorly developed. This game's Sebastian enjoys shooting game while he searches for his daughter, he is such type of dad. Despite that the devs tries really hard to show us some emotional moments between him and his daughter. I was like just no. I don't care about Sebastian as a dad. I don't care about Lily, who is also poorly-written. Seriously **** The Evil Within 2, I don't care for you at all. Give us back the great first game. Just bring back Ruvik, Leslie and Joseph. Don't ever abandon your own game and characters again.… Expand

    I played this on PS4 and I hate this game's story and direction so much that I put negative review here as well. If you loved the first game, you would be disappointed with this game.

Some main characters from TEW1 are not even mentioned, which is so weird and unsatisfying. Save your daughter storyline is really lazy and boring. It’s like a cliche movie from 80s.     This game is a downgrade from the first one in every way. Like a weaker sequel of Silent Hill Downpour. The “open” map wasn’t well made. The writing was one of the worst ones I’ve seen in video games.

    This game really falls apart after the first boss fight. Gameplay is repetitive and characters are unmemorable. Sebastian looks and talks like **** compared to the first game. Also he is very poorly written as a dad, I couldn’t take his “character development” seriously. The characters felt more human in the first game.

    I loved The Evil Within, I played it 5 times.. Initially I was very dissapoimted in this sequel as it is very different from the first game. But once you figure out the mechanics and realise this is a stealth game , it becomes a very unique and enjoyable experiance..Side note , Kidman and Hoffman are 2 of my favorit NPVs . Their both well rounded charavter and cute AF.. Didnt like KidmanI loved The Evil Within, I played it 5 times.. Initially I was very dissapoimted in this sequel as it is very different from the first game. But once you figure out the mechanics and realise this is a stealth game , it becomes a very unique and enjoyable experiance..Side note , Kidman and Hoffman are 2 of my favorit NPVs .     Im writing this Review 3 years after The launch of this game But screw it. The Evil Within is a Spetacular Survival and Action Horror, with an amazing Protagonist and some good Villains too. The gameplay it' s a little fought but you get used to it. Graphics are 9/10 for a game launched on 2017 and stealth system is pretty good but nothing so "Woooow".     Played this right after playing the first game with the DLS,
    it was a smart move, the plot talks a lot about the first game, and the is a lot of correlation between the two.

    the difficulty was changed after half of the game, it felt like a different game. also there was a change in the plot, but I will not get into it as I don't want to give any story spoilers.

    From one of the minds that brought us the Resident Evil series, The Evil Within 2 serves as a survival horror delight. It’s a jolting, excellent tale of horror and mystery with a strong story and a driving narrative, plus a multitude of side quests and sub-plots to keep even the most seasoned players engaged and thrilled. It is not a perfectly executed game by any means, but, like the original game, the flaws tend to get buried under the bloody heap of viscera and terror players will experience should they decide to pick up a copy.

    The Evil Within 2 doesn't reinvent the survival-horror genre but makes it work in more of an open world. Blending it with the tightly directed sections we have come to expect from the genre creates a fantastic horror setting that cranks up the tension only when it's needed. Players are rewarded for exploring and the scarce resources are distributed in a way that you often feel like there is only enough to scrape by, yet it never leaves you feeling under-prepared. Unfortunately, Sebastian's movement and animation often feel disconnected and some animations do seem clumsy in general, while some visual assets noticeably pop into view. Thankfully, these minor issues don't detract too much from the overall package and The Evil Within 2 delivers an interesting and memorable horror experience that is challenging yet fair.
