Hilarity and peril ensure. Not only do players have to hide their true identities from corporate stooges, but they must also contend with Handsome Jack's larger role in the story. Why is he so eager to be buddies? What does he have planned for us back at his old stomping grounds? These are the questions one must ask when playing through Escape Plane Bravo, and it makes for an experience that is just as tense as it is funny.

And boy is it funny. Some of the most hilarious parts of the game happen in this episode. Aside from the usual clever, there are moments off of the wall absurdity, bad luck, and one of the best quick time events ever created, that are all in place to ensure you do a lot of laughing.

The choices are the toughest to make so far. Even minor dialog options feel like they change you entire relationship with another character. The stakes are higher than ever, and while the episode finds a balance between humor and seriousness, it's kind of odd to see so many heavy moments thrown at you at this point in the game, when the previous ones haven't been so hardcore.

Still, I loved sweating over the controller when faced with the hard moments and laughing my butt off at the sillier stuff one could only find in a game bearing the Borderlands title.

Tales From The Borderlands: Episode 4- Escape Plan Bravo has the best scene I have ever played in a video game. I loved this episode from start to finish, and could recommend the entire series based on that scene alone. A fantastic episode to say the least.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am a huge Borderlands fan and this was my first ever telltale game played. While I am a fan of borderlands I found the way this game plays to be boring. The humor is great but I often found myself falling asleep while playing. This episode was exceptional compared to the other 4. The plot twist was crazy! Expand

  1. It’s been a bumpier ride than I’d expected – especially given the potential comic goldmine that is the Borderlands universe – but Tales from the Borderlands seems to be back on track just in time for what’s shaping up to be weird and wild final episode.
