Although it advertises intuitive gameplay, learning how to play Super Soccer Blast effectively will require a lot of practice and patience.

Super Soccer Blast is more of a bore than a blast. The first game is enjoyable, but then you notice the flaws very quickly. However, I do take pleasure in shooting from 50 yards out and scoring with ease. The create your own team and player is a nice addition, but it’s a shame there isn’t more content and teams to pick from from the off.

For the potential that Super Soccer Blast on Xbox One brings, it consistently fails to deliver, with bugs, glitches and an overriding rushed feeling provided throughout. Even though the in-game mechanics aren’t the best, it could well have still been an arcade football game worth playing. But it comes with a severe lack of game options, zero online capabilities and enough bugs and glitches bubbling around, ready to explode, to ensure that this is one to avoid.

With a very nice and fairly intricate character and team editor, you can customize your team as you see fit. You have the means to create quite a diversified team if you want or recreate your favorite team. you have three modes to play. The World Tour has a handful of preset tournaments to take any team through. Quick Match lets you pick two teams and play a casual game. Then the Custom mode lets you set up your own tournaments and play through them. It appears you can create as many teams and players as you want, and play with or against them as you wish. The gameplay is very arcade, and the controls are nice and responsive. Passing can take a little getting used to as you have to turn the player you're currently in control of the direction you need to pass when you do so. and the player in control of the ball, or closest to the ball is selected for you to control. The lack of a multiplayer mode, even couch play is slightly confusing as this would be a great system to play against other people. Otherwise, the game isn't very deep and makes for a great way to spend a little time here and there. If you enjoy a good soccer game that you can casually play then Super Soccer blast is a nice little grab. Full Review »

    Nice and very arcade.
Don't compare it to FIFA, it more like old good 8/16bit soccer with enhanced graphics. Sweet and simple
