    Splasher is a game that gets everything pretty much spot on. This means that as far as platformers go it’s an excellent addition to the genre, and it’s a game that is both challenging and rewarding at the same time. The platforming and shooting mechanics have been done to perfection. These mechanics are both responsive and fluid, and they create a great deal of fun, which is ultimatelySplasher is a game that gets everything pretty much spot on. These mechanics are both responsive and fluid, and they create a great deal of fun, which is ultimately what you want from a platformer. I was also impressed with the control scheme in the game because they’ve made you be able to do multiple things at once flawlessly. The level design in the game is some of the best I’ve seen when it comes to the platforming genre. Each level is interesting and fun, and you can tell that a great deal of effort has gone into making each level different. The later levels will cause you some frustration though because they can be quite difficult, but I appreciated the challenge in the end. I was very impressed with the variety when it came to the enemies and obstacles. Each enemy does different things and this keeps the gameplay fresh, which is great. The presentation side of the game is something that impressed me a great deal. Visually the cartoony art style lends the game a certain charm and makes the gameplay stand out. The music that accompanies the gameplay is great on the ears, and most important of all it never gets on your nerves. At the end of the day Splasher has been without a shadow of a doubt one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played so far this year. It’s managed to create the great feeling that a platformer should have and kept the niggling problems down to a minimum. Fans of fun and enjoyable platformers should purchase this game immediately because I can’t recommend it highly enough.… Expand

    Needless to say, Splasher is a must play for any platforming fan. Although it’s not all that long, coming in at maybe a few hours in length, with deaths making up a lot of that, it’s very well made and stands out for many reasons, and with this in mind it is very easy to recommend.

    Splasher is generally a great game that comes with fantastic visuals, smooth and fluid controls, addictive gameplay and plenty of variety. It is certainly one of the better platformers to arrive on Xbox One this year and if you’re a fan of the genre, this is one you should be looking to add to your collection.
