    I will start by saying this game is a lot of fun; it's a lazy fun, but still fun.

    At its core the game is a farming sim that takes market economics into account. Exploring the map to find and capture new slimes is good fun. The visuals, gameplay mechanics and gameplay loop are solid; if this game was built on an indie budget, it does not show in the ways I expect a game that launches on    I will start by saying this game is a lot of fun; it's a lazy fun, but still fun.

The visuals, gameplay mechanics and gameplay loop are solid; if this game was built on an indie budget, it does not show in the ways I expect a game that launches on pc to look or play...really pleasant surprise.

    While this game was fun for an adult gamer, I have to think kids would really enjoy it. For an adult gamer however, the reason I can't rate this game more highly is that ultimately it is played solely for the loop; outside of the loop of explore, find slimes, pen/feed/ combine slimes, sell slimes....there is no further point...no story arc...no reason for doing what you're doing.....building a farm to....build a farm.....it is one of the few games I can think of where the Achievements are the point to the game, they are the goal.....that's unfortunate in a game this fun.    … Expand

    its an OK game which would be my DREAM if the slimes couldn't die. The Tarr are really my least favourite thing about this game and if that was removed, I would LOVE slime rancher

    I've loved my limited time with Slime Rancher so far. It has very pleasing graphics, a solid gameplay loop, fun gameplay. It is very responsive with a controller, and mouse+keyboard was good too, but it feels better with a controller. My daughter got this game on her Steam account, and I can borrow it when she is offline. She was playing this game in early beta and I always thought itI've loved my limited time with Slime Rancher so far. It has very pleasing graphics, a solid gameplay loop, fun gameplay. It is very responsive with a controller, and mouse+keyboard was good too, but it feels better with a controller. It has elements of like Steamworld Dig, Don't Starve, and Stardew Valley. Good time and I definitely will play more.… Expand

    It honestly did not take me long to get burnt out on this game, at first I was addicted, but after a few hours I was bored out of my mind. It might be just me, but games that require "grinding" are infuriatingly boring to me and just feel like a waste of my time. On the other hand, Slime Rancher clearly had lots of effort put into it. The Graphics are decent and there are little glitchesIt honestly did not take me long to get burnt out on this game, at first I was addicted, but after a few hours I was bored out of my mind.     Slime rancher is a great game!
    The overall aesthetics are really appealing and the silly/cute nature of the slimes seems to add a true level of concern for their health/happiness.
    Even though it's a small game it really has the potential to be amazing, with future content drops and further development or possibly even Slime Rancher 2.0, I think this could easily become a solid 9.    Slime rancher is a great game!

    While the gameplay is simple, it's incredibly addictive and you'll find yourself BLOWING through hours of real-time in the blink of an eye and still wanting more out of the game.

    So far I've played for over 50 hours and I have to say I'm still hooked even though I've reached the current "end-game" zones. There's still more to do, crafting slimescience gadgets etc... so yeah this game is worth the time and money!

    The ending is AMAZING... just make sure you have tissues in case you tear up ;)

    After going through the end-game and getting to the credits... I've decided to bump it up to a 9!

    I feel like this game has immense potential. The core gameplay of feed slimes making money and using this to explore new areas of the game is fun. Also the devs have stated they will absolutely be supporting the game post-launch. This makes me even more exited especially if they add more automation, slimes with tougher requirements and greater exploration/more worlds and most importantly,I feel like this game has immense potential. That is the one thing that this game is lacking and would make new save files relevant. Another thing that would improve this game's longevity is more specialization meaning you have to commit to slime types and can have a variety of mutually exclusive perks that can make you even more likely to start a 2nd time over. Overall this game is a bit away from a 9 but improve if the devs keep their promise.… Expand

    Slime rancher is an excellent, single player relaxed experience. From feeding your slimes to going out and adventuring the far, far range. Slime rancher is an excellent game from an indie studio that really is just pure fun. The only reason I give this game a 9/10 is because of its framerate issues and how short the game is.

    ADDICTIVE...for the first 10 hours. After that there's still more mysteries to uncover, just not much reason to do so. Pleasant graphics and atmosphere, and I'm a little ashamed how much time I put into this. Honestly, just GET IT.

The game is graphically gorgeous, from dense jungles to dried-out coral reefs, the game has this almost-cutesy art style to it. I really enjoy the slime's AI, it's almost as if they're actual creatures. The soundtrack is amazing, perfectly describes working on a ranch, or in this case, an interstellar planet. The only gripe I have with this specific version is the frame rate. The game is very poorly optimized for Xbox and other consoles, chugging when entities are present, almost feeling like the cutest little slide show. If or when the framerate is optimized for console versions, my score will go up to a 10, because that's what this game deserves, but sadly, console players deserve equal rights too.… Expand

    игра нормальная, с самого её создания играл. И мне нравилось ловить слаймов, эх захотелось снова отправиться в 2017

    Игра очень хорошая,она достойна вашего внимания,в ней можно провести больше 100 часов,можно много чего сделать,всем советую,от меня игра получает оценку 10/10.

    If you enjoy experimenting within your games only to watch the results of your experiments expand the game world then Slime Rancher is an ideal game for you. On the other hand, everyone else will find little to like about this cute sim.

    Slime Rancher has the ability to keep you hooked for hours; I often looked out over my ranch, felt pride at my accomplishments, and eagerly ventured back into the wilderness to see what other strange things I could find.

    The charm of the world, and in particular the cuteness of the Slimes, makes the game a pleasure to play, and there is a surprising amount of depth in the title with the breeding/evolving mechanic.
