    Session is a 3rd Person Skating Simulator. Session takes skating games away from the arcade feel some of the most prominent entries in the genre maintain. The graphics hold a similar realism to the control and physics of the board. The controls aren't what fans of Tony Hawk are accustomed to, and plays a lot more like Skate. You push with A and turn the board with your triggers, theSession is a 3rd Person Skating Simulator. Session takes skating games away from the arcade feel some of the most prominent entries in the genre maintain. The graphics hold a similar realism to the control and physics of the board. The controls aren't what fans of Tony Hawk are accustomed to, and plays a lot more like Skate. You push with A and turn the board with your triggers, the joysticks are how you control your posture and the board. Doing intricate kickflips felt like launching a Haduken or trying to perform a Fatality. At first the controls confused me, but after tweaking a few settings and spending some time with them they started to make sense. Session is a skate session, you walk (Yes off your skateboard!) to a good start spot and you skate your line. The game gives you even more tools to make a great skate session, because you can move, add, or remove items in the world to set up the perfect run. Then go into the replay editor and record your tricks and lines with absolute camera control. The world is rather large and you can transverse the different areas on foot or by menu. I wasn't aware of any story or progression and that freedom made it far more enjoyable to me, like the ultimate skate video sandbox. Well worth the time learning the controls, Session is a fun skating sim with tons of potential as a sandbox. We will continue to see how this game evolves as part of the Xbox Preview Program.… Expand

    They removed the legacy controls with the latest 1.0 update and it now controls terribly.

    The game is what it is the team that created it keeps in touch with the fans via social media and the game is looking phenominal at this point once the game goes full release it will be unmatched

    10x better than skater xl , don’t ever buy that trash game they do not care about the community
