Boot this uo for a bit of highly competative and fun gameplay. Gameplay: This plays just like most party games, pitting team against team with the ability to support upto 4v4 in multiple fun and hilarious game modes, using spawned mid-game perks like boost or shields etc can you topple your friends and become the Nuts Champ? Visually the game offers up fun colourful cartoon styled graphics with several different characters to choose from with some customization available to the player. The arenas look nice and well designed and the onscreen antics meld well with the design. Controls are relatively simple, using the tutorial was mildly helpful however just checking the control layout in the options was enough to get a good hang of things and actions respond well with little delay. My main gripe with the game was unfortunately quite a big one that became annoying very quickly. Upon starting the game at the menu you can select a language, that screen will stay there unless you pick a language even if you attempt to start up a game, causing you to have to go back to the menu (quickest way) to select the language to start a game (again) this will happen again once you finish your game and go back to the menu. Overall: this is an amusing party game that supports plenty of players and would provide a couple hours worth of laughs before becoming stale and repetitive. I personally feel there are better options out there BUT think this is one to add to the library for variety. Expand

As a single-player experience, there is little to keep you playing past the first few rounds, but as a party game with some mates, there’s fun to be had. It’s not the epic that Rocket League is, it’s not the clever and skilled party game that Over-Cooked is, nor is it as memorable as many classic party games, like the Crash Bash, Mario Parties and Pokemon Stadium mini-games of old. But it does what it sets out to do, just with absolutely no embellishments or flair. There’s just very little to it and that lack of content is the main story here.

It won’t keep us playing for too long, and it can be a bit hard to keep track of, but Save Your Nuts is a fun little arcade game that is good for keeping the kids (both big and little) entertained for an hour or so while we’re all stuck at home.

Save Your Nuts on Xbox One tries its best to provide a fast and frantic nut-fuelled experience, and while it does that for a limited time, it doesn’t take long for total repetition to become the ruling factor. By all means give it a bash if you are looking for a new timewaster, but don’t expect to be playing it for much longer than a few evenings.
