Rush: A Disney / Pixar Adventure is very much a family game and a game that children will love, and I must admit that as far as remasters go this is a pretty good remaster. Don’t get me wrong it’s far from being perfect and it does suffer with a few problems, but on the whole my children enjoyed it a lot. The gameplay offers you an easy to pick up and play style, which meant it was never too compicated allowing me and my children to have more fun. This is a game that is best enjoyed in short bursts and I liked the idea of completing missions in minutes because it held my children’s attention. It is however not a game that can be played for long periods because it does get repetetive and that’s mainly down to the lack of variety when it comes to the missions. There also isn’t much in the way of content and the game can be completed quite quickly, which in turn definintely made the replay value a lot less. I was very impressed by the way they’ve implemented the controls, and I found the controls to hold up really well and remain responsive throughout. The kinect option also works well, which is a bonus. It’s not all plain sailing though because it does suffer with a few technical issues every now and then, and these issues can be very distracting at times. The presentation side of the game has been improved significantly, and my children really enjoyed this aspect. Visually the game is packed full of colour and the characters act and behave how they’re supposed to. The accompanying sound design is also very good as well. At the end of the day if you’ve never played this game before and you have children then I fully recommend that you give this game a go. It’s seen some improvements over the original and whilst it still contains some problems me and my children had quite a bit of fun with it. There are better kids games out there, but this game holds up pretty well and it does enough to get a recommendation from me. Expand

First let me say, this game is a mastapiece. Amaaazing graphics, realistic game-play, and possibly the most intriguing plot-line I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of, its beautiful.

Personally not a fan but my kids love it, it's a genuinely good kids game, very approachable and has 2 player split screen coop

A really fun game to play with the family, and revisiting Pixar film franchises is always nostalgic and good. Children will love the simple and intense gameplay and the older ones fell in love with the stories. Highlight for the original voices of the characters

A fun short adventure arcade game based on the Disney characters you need to beat. Crashed on me a couple of times but enjoyed the gameplay.

Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure is a game with lots of heart but very limited appeal. The stages are fun enough if you're looking for something simple, and the lack of failure states means that younger ones who are getting used to video games won't experience frustration often. However, the stages lack any variety or challenge, and the small amount of content means that only those who don't mind repeating the same stage will be fine with the game. For everyone else, it makes for a decent rental but nothing more.

A great game for young gamers. The co-op mode is awesome for parents who want to play with their kids. The park hub is a fun concept and allows players to bounce back and forth between movie areas quickly.
