    Royal roads is yet another Garden Gnomes style game, The presentation side of things is the best I’ve seen so far from this developer and the visual and sound design are solid. I’ve said this before but I actually enjoyed the Gnomes Garden games that made their way to the Xbox One over the last year. I would like to see a refresh on the formula, but what's present still works well. 8FloorsRoyal roads is yet another Garden Gnomes style game, The presentation side of things is the best I’ve seen so far from this developer and the visual and sound design are solid. I’ve said this before but I actually enjoyed the Gnomes Garden games that made their way to the Xbox One over the last year. I would like to see a refresh on the formula, but what's present still works well. 8Floors new release Royal Roads isn’t perfect however there’s still plenty of entertainment to be had here. If you’ve played any of their other games and enjoyed the gameplay you’ll be right at "home" here (pun intended).. I would however recommend that you don’t play the game in small sessions as despite being a solid game it lacks the capture game you would get from a Zuma or Tetris great where the repetition remains fun even during long gameplay sessions. I will give judos in term of level variety as there are many different location different locations to help the game feel fresh longer. Royal Roads hasn’t really done anything different than their Gnomes Garden series, and if you aren’t a fan of their other games then there's no need to tread here, but if you are it's an easy reccommendation. I do want to appreciate 8Floors for providing so many "new" games to the library of the Xbox family of consoles.… Expand

    Royal Roads is a Gnomes Garden game in a different skin, and as such, the same issues found in those titles are present here. I’ll credit the game for its improved handling, for being visually superior in comparison to its related peers, and for its depth of content, but it still falls rather flat overall. If you’re in the market for a deep resource management game, look elsewhere. If you’re just here for more of the same, Royal Roads will serve you well.
