    This is the best part in the series, over the past 10-15 years, very atmospheric and with a more or less sane plot.

    The gameplay - is standard as in other parts of the series. The plot - is strong and interesting. The atmosphere - is very coolly balanced, there is both horror and action (there is more horror). Difficulty - playing hardcore, you will get EVERYTHING that is required    This is the best part in the series, over the past 10-15 years, very atmospheric and with a more or less sane plot.

    The gameplay - is standard as in other parts of the series.
    The plot - is strong and interesting.
    The atmosphere - is very coolly balanced, there is both horror and action (there is more horror).
    Difficulty - playing hardcore, you will get EVERYTHING that is required from a resident evile (at lower difficulties you will lose the whole essence of the game).
    Puzzles - there are a LOT of them and very diverse and very interesting.
    Back tracking - is probably the biggest of all the previous parts.
    Enemies - there are many of them, each with its own characteristics (both externally and gameplay).
    Bosses and mini-bosses - there are many of them, all varied and interesting, with several phases.    … Expand

    Man, this game was SO GOOD! I really enjoyed my time with it. This game probably has the most gorgeous, stunning graphics and art direction that I have ever seen. My god it is so majestically beautiful! Exploring in this game is such a treat (but it can be scary xD). The gameplay and story were engaging and thrilling. There was also a lot of variety in the game. It's one of the bestMan, this game was SO GOOD! I really enjoyed my time with it. This game probably has the most gorgeous, stunning graphics and art direction that I have ever seen. My god it is so majestically beautiful!     SPOILERS! Bueno, empezando, este juego es una secuela directa del aclamado Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (Biohazard 7: Resident Evil en Japon).

    Ahora nosotros seguimos la historia de nuestro protagonista del anterior juego, el misterioso y sin cara, Ethan Winters, a decir verdad, ethan es de los mejores personajes de este nuevo juego, le dan una mayor profundidad y encariñamiento al personaje, no antes visto como en la anterior entrega,Biohazard 7, Ethan esta totalmente reconstruido de su aptitud, ya no se le nota falta de experiencia.

    El completo juego es acción y miedo, nunca estas a salvo! El diseño de los enemigos es de los mejores de la saga, ni uno es igual al anterior, el juego nunca te cansa y es muy entretenido Mia es un personaje que guarda muchos misterios

    Madre Miranda es una excelente villana final del juego, su pelea es una maravilla.

    Elena era un personaje que quería que no muera, tenía un gran potencial pero no cambiaron su destino. Alcina es una pequeña decepción, fue muy rápido el Como la matamos, más a sus hijas, pero su batalla... Es impresionante.

    La más rara es la siguiente, con Beneviento, es de las batallas, más tenebrosas y donde se siente más el Horror que caracteriza a la trama, en este lugar tiene el mejor susto de casi toda la saga.

    Moreau es el villano más fuerte, aunque no lo parezca, con el fue en el que más me tarde.

    Sus transformaciones son espectaculares

    Heisenberg, mi fav de favs, tenía mucho potencial, y casi lo logran, ese personaje es un maldito Castroso, egocéntrico y más jaja
    Su batalla fue una cosa infernal.

    Madre Miranda.... La mejor batalla de todas, eso es lo único que voy a decir.

    Ethan..... Gracias por todo, su sacrificio me voló la cabeza.

    Ese final... Me dejó sin aliento Y el epílogo con rose, da mucho para que pensar. Y el hecho de que gracias a la villa y madre Miranda se haya creado umbrella, eveline y más.... Es impresionante. Que oswell Spencer haya vivido ahí y haya sido el estudiante de madre Miranda... Fue choque ante esa revelación Que eveline haya regresado... Sin duda entre mis favoritos, hiciste bien capcom

    I really like it and i think it's very well done Resident Evil game. It has Resident Evil 7 camera and Resident Evil 4 elements like inventory/merchant. It even has some RE2 Remake elements, that i'm not gonna spoil. Way more normal enemies than in RE7 (that's a +), more bosses (also a +), bosses actually look interesting, some of them reminded me The Evil Within bosses (that's a +).I really like it and i think it's very well done Resident Evil game. It has Resident Evil 7 camera and Resident Evil 4 elements like inventory/merchant. It even has some RE2 Remake elements, that i'm not gonna spoil.     Capcom is finally going back to their Resident Evil 4 roots aka best era of Resident Evil. Can't praise them enough, so i'm just gonna say thank you! This really means a lot to me, because Resident Evil 4 is my all time favorite game and to be able to experience something similar again, is just amazing. Thank you Capcom!

    Takes the best elements of the resident evil franchise and put it into a compelling sorry that is both addictive and fresh. The adrenaline fuelled action scenes to the intense atmospheric horror Village is the best instalment so far in the Resident Evil franchise.

Todo lo que Resident Evil: Biohazard hizo bien, lo mejoró con creces en Village, partiendo por los impecables gráficos hiper realistas, la iluminación de exteriores e interiores, la banda sonora y los detalles que hacen de este juego un completo espectáculo visual, en xbox one s rinde muy bien la verdad.

    Los personajes son un punto fuerte ya que a diferencia del juego predecesor, aquí el arco argumental de Ethan Winters se desarrolla en gloria y majestad. Los rumores sobre Chris Redfield en esta entrega desencadenaban mucha incertidumbre y afortunadamente las cosas salen bastante bien. Los villanos en su mayoría estuvieron muy bien, presencialmente pintorescos, pero con algunas carencias en algunos casos como lo es con Alcina Dimitrescu y sus hijas, el hype era demasiado alto y aunque su participación fue muy efectiva, se siente un poco breve considerando que son las primeras en morder el polvo, por otro lado ese bebé mutante es de lejos lo más aterrador de la franquicia en muchos años y Madre Miranda fue toda una sorpresa, tanto por su conexión con el líder fundador de Umbrella, sus propósitos y como no, su inquietante presencia y poder.

    Otro punto a destacar es la duración y dificultad, desde resident evil 4 que no se veía un juego así de largo y con respecto a la dificultad, es un reto considerable tomando en cuenta que los enemigos pegan fuerte y son muy resistentes inclusive en modo fácil. En general Village es un juegazo, los **** lo odiaran, pero los que sí sabemos adaptarnos a la evolución podemos apreciar esto como se merece.    … Expand

    Magnificent!!! Hands down one of the best Resident Evil games in years! it's got everything from the survival horror genre, mixed well with action & adventure elements. Fun bosses, awesome story with a mind-blowing twist and it's decently long for a RE game. Oh and it looks incredible! This is a 10/10 MUST BUY game, it's just a great experience and value! Well done to the developers. :)

Otherwise most of the mechanics are just the same - somewhat clumsy controls, many weird puzzles, story is a bit too cryptic than it could be and rely on previous parts. Unfortunately it is not available in MS store and so no "play anywhere" - impossible to use your xbox saves on a PC, which is for me personally is a big cons.… Expand

    Here once again like in resident evil 7 you play as ethan winters, searching for his daughter rose after their home is ambushed and the both of you are kidnapped, you find yourself in a village full of vampire meets werewolf character, and its so refreshing to not deal with lame zombies or mold creatures.. these enemies are terrifying when you first run into them… but I woulve loved a gradual lead up to actually getting some weapons in hand muck like in resident evil 7.. sneaking around this village, sneaking through the castle trying not to get caught as you got the items you needed, until finally you get a weapon, blast your way out of the castle and destroy the enemies in the village.. instead I almosti mmediatly felt untouchable.. which really killed the scary aspect of village for me.. there were definitely erie moments here for me.. but I never felt terrified the way I did in past resident evil games.. but as a more action almost first person devil may cry feeling game… village is great.. and I absolutely love the attention to detail and variety here… resident evil village is constantly switching up the areas as you set out to take down multiple targets in a vastly different setting from eachother.. theres so much to collect, find and upgrade like the older resident evil games, with the map color indicator letting you know when you’ve grabbed everything, and these a shop that just pops up along your journey to upgrade your weapons, buy ammo, or sell these crystals you pick up off of enemies, really giving you incentive to be aggressive here.. trying to afford all of the upgrades you can for your weapons..
    Resident evil village does get a little lame and obring in its final stretch. .but they all do.. but not nearly as bad as 7 biohazard… if youre ready for resident evil to get back to the way it used to but don’t want to let go the creepiness first person adds to the series.. resident evil village is a perfect mix.. I do again just wish they tried to scare me a little bit more… much like in the maiden demo… more of that mixed into resident evil village, and this couldve reached masterpiece level..
    I give Resident Evil Village

Outside of this hour, the game is mostly just a slow-paced shooter. In fact, there is a section near the end, where it becomes a pure shooter; ammo maxed out. RE engine doesn't support this gameplay very well, and its certainly not the reason i purchased the game. There are a lot of puzzles, as you'd expect, but they're a mixed bag (I don't want to spend 20 minutes trying to headbutt a torch!) The level design is reasonably good, but the expansive scope of this instalment means the backtracking can be tedious at points. The gameplay as a whole, is very easy. I think it's the predictability of RE games at this point. With the way healing works, and the excess of resources you'll gather, you never really feel as though you're in any danger (which is huge a problem for a "survival" horror). I played on "Standard" and only died three times, all of which were during boss battles. I was hesitant to up the difficulty because I always find RE enemies to be overly spongey, and I didn't want this to be made worse.

    Despite all this, i still think this might be my favourite RE game in a while. This is due to variety! The world of RE is silly, camp and not one i intend to take seriously; so have a bulbous, freak-show of a merchant, a 9 foot, buxom countess, a weird fish-type man, a hilariously jacked Chris Redfield. I really hate RE boss battles, but at least they all felt quite different this time out. The lesser enemies even differ in their own slight way. Also, the level variety is far nicer this time out (no sewers for once, yay!).

    If you've enjoyed the previous few instalments, you'll enjoy this one. The terrible writing and ludicrous plot is there. The gameplay is much the same. If you love horror, you can find at least an hour in there. It even visually looks the same (some pretty outdated textures at this rate). The pacing is actually better than previous instalments, and as whole, it feels as though greater effort was put into this one.    … Expand

It tweaks and embraces these elements, all packed into one efficient, engrossing and utterly horrifying set of challenges. ResidentThis game embodies everything a Resident Evil fan like me wants.     Capcom you are incredible, this game has become a real discovery. Delight did not leave throughout the passage. The way they worked on the village is worthy of applause. A true child's delight, involvement in the gameplay, a real gift for everyone who appreciates single-player story games. Respect, it was very cool !

The cooking mechanic brings a new way of improving stats for your stats like your health but as I tested it I found no difference in getting more health as it takes the same amount of hits to kill you whether you have the upgrade or not (update maybe) but it's cool all around. now the game is not as scary as RE7 it does have some jump scares here and there but I was not on the edge of my seat as I was for the last game. now cons loading times in the elevator are too long, textures don't load in properly and loading issues when moving too quickly from one room to the other but that is to be expected for a last-gen experience. now I got to say this game is so much fun as it has so much replay value and I highly suggest you play this game as it has so much to offer and probably more on XBSX/S and PS5… Expand

    Superb survival-horror game from start to finish. Genuinely creepy but at a rollercoaster pace where I never felt too overwhelmed by the scares. The graphics and art design are gorgeous with every segment looking unique in its own right. RE 7 was much scarier and more claustrophobic, but Village makes up for it with countless quality-of-life improvements and more sprawling level designSuperb survival-horror game from start to finish.     The game has an excellent and compelling story, the gameplay is solid with the exception that there is no ADS but it doesn’t take away from the experience I’ll admit it can be immersive breaking but nevertheless the game is incredible. Every single Bossfight is unique and each boss has their own weakness and transformation as well as attacks. Getting infinite ammunition for good weaponsThe game has an excellent and compelling story, the gameplay is solid with the exception that there is no ADS but it doesn’t take away from the experience I’ll admit it can be immersive breaking but nevertheless the game is incredible. Every single Bossfight is unique and each boss has their own weakness and transformation as well as attacks. Getting infinite ammunition for good weapons isn’t difficult and once you have it is a huge game changer.     I just finished the game the other day. I took my time, soaked in the atmosphere, and tried my best to explore almost everything I could. I enjoyed the ride very much.

    RE Village is very similar in concept as RE7 was. Your character is introduced to all the bosses/threats early on and gives you a clear feeling of being overwhelmed. Then you are free to explore a map where each boss    I just finished the game the other day. I took my time, soaked in the atmosphere, and tried my best to explore almost everything I could. I enjoyed the ride very much.

    RE Village is very similar in concept as RE7 was. Your character is introduced to all the bosses/threats early on and gives you a clear feeling of being overwhelmed. Then you are free to explore a map where each boss has their own "section" and progress is dictated by collecting keys/solving puzzles. I'd be interested in seeing this evolving into something more complex in the next game.

    The story ended up affecting me more than I expected, with me still thinking about the final few sections of the game. The references to old monsters: Dracula and his brides, Frankenstein's monster, Wolfman, Swamp Thing, the witch in the woods, etc. I look forward to playing this game again and am excited to see where RE9 goes to finish out the "Winters" trilogy.

    I'm fine with the action and definitely appreciate having enough ammunition to be able to clear bad guys and freely explore. However, the highlights of this game was without a doubt Beneviento's house, where the emphasis was on solving puzzles and being thankful for LED lights in whatever room you have your TV in (because playing that segment in the dark would be truly terrifying). I would love to see more of that in future installments.

    I really wish they would have brought in another character from the original games, similar to how Chris showed up at the end of RE7. I know Ada was planned and cut. That would have been great.

    I don't know why everyone loves The Duke. Hunting, crafting, and cooking seemed incredibly dated - albeit simple, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

    Bottom line: It's got enough variety for everyone to enjoy, some parts more than others. However, it's all solid. The only thing holding it back from being a 9 or higher is that it didn't really do too much that felt new. Instead concepts and play from previous games were simply expanded upon.    … Expand

    Desde mi punto de vista como un fan más de la saga résident evil, este juego me parece un regalo por parte de Capcom, nos brinda una narrativa que se ve que está trabajada, nos dan un escenario que se nota vivo, nos da un mapa más grande y explorable... Si que es verdad que tiene al final un poco de acción pero se combina perfectamente. En general me parece un gran juego.

    Just finished my first playthrough and the story is excellent, atmosphere is just as good and a decent length.. My only real complaint is the mouse movement as I use a trackball and no matter how I set the sensitivity, it crawls across the screen.     O jogo é mto bonito , com vários personagens carismáticos, apesar de muitos serem mortos de maneira idiota, os cenários tbm são insanos. O maior problema é a curta duração( zerei em 8hrs e alguns segundo, e eu explorei mto o mapa por sinal) para o preço que está sendo cobrado, além de que a boss fight final é muito facil.

    Overall, RE Village is a fantastic RE game with some minor flaws here and there. It takes just about everything from RE7 and makes it better. RE Village loses much of the horror in RE7, but it makes up for it with everything else. I really feel it’s impossible to not like this game more than RE7 and this is coming from a person that greatly enjoyed the horror aspect of RE7. I was a complete naysayer once I saw that RE Village had more of an action approach and was proven wrong by the end of the game. Resident Evil Village is really good and is a definite pickup if you’re an RE fan.
