    Brutal un juegazo, el mejor Survival horror de la generación, a 4k y 60fps en one X, es increíble volver a vivir esos momentos en la comisaría y ver a Mr X

    RE2 Remake tenía una tarea difícil por delante, su juego original es considerado una obra maestra por muchos y después de tantos años el cariño, recuerdos y sentimientos que despertó tienen un peso más que evidente.

    Este juego se siente fiel al original, podríamos pensar que conservador ya que se experimentan las mismas sensaciones, pero comparándolo se puede ver que es una propuesta    RE2 Remake tenía una tarea difícil por delante, su juego original es considerado una obra maestra por muchos y después de tantos años el cariño, recuerdos y sentimientos que despertó tienen un peso más que evidente.

    Este juego se siente fiel al original, podríamos pensar que conservador ya que se experimentan las mismas sensaciones, pero comparándolo se puede ver que es una propuesta valiente para cambiar, adaptar y mejorar todo el gameplay de la primera parte.

    Gráficamente espectacular, con un control preciso, muy buena localización al castellano y exigente si se quiere rejugar para conseguir todos los objetivos y coleccionables.

    Lo único achacable es el recorrido alternativo una vez superada la aventura. En el juego original la historia tenía más cinemáticas que aportaban cambios en las relaciones de los personajes, véase en la cara B de Leon en la escena en que Ada lucha contra Tyrant, que aquí no aparece.

    Ésta CAPCOM sí es la que queremos todos.    … Expand

Es todo lo que Resident Evil debería ser, el engine del juego funciona muy bien, el poder desmembrar a los zombies dependiendo donde les dispares es genial, oir los pasos de Mr X le agrega una tensión muy disfrutable, el juego se siente fluido, el survival horror se sigue sientiendo presente a pesar de tener el over shoulder aim, de hecho el poder apuntar sube de nivel a la experiencia, el poder tener la opción de jugar con la banda sonora clasica es algo que agradeceré siempre si no este juego tuviera otra puntuación, no puedo esperar por el rermake del 3… Expand

    That game... is a clear 10. It looks freaking amazing, the gameplay handles great... I mean... what a game. This is how you make a remaster/remake. The atmosphere is always haunting, the horror is feelable. It is my personal favorite game. I don't need more words, it is self explaining why I rate that one as one of the best if not the best that I've ever played.

    Game of 2019 so far:
    + Fantastic remake
    + High quality production in all aspects
    + Very enjoyable with a great replay value and lots of content.
    + Probably the best zombie game ever. The zombie design, details, animations and graphics are easily the best of all time.
    - The B scenarios could have been a bit more different.

    Still an incredible game and everyone should play it. 10/10

    Me saco el sombrero con Capcom, han hecho una obra maestra con este juego. Se lució el RE Engine en gráficos, la música y ambientación del juego, sentir claustrofobia en ciertas situaciones. Hacía mucho que no me daban miedo los zombies, y este juego lo logró como aquel entonces en el 98'. Lo único extrañé un par de cosas que pasaban en el original y en este no lo encontré, pero eso noMe saco el sombrero con Capcom, han hecho una obra maestra con este juego.     Una obra maestra, gracias Capcom, mucha gente llevaba años esperando este REMAKE, cuando parecía imposible de repente con un simple trailer ya ganasteis el E3, pero es que el trabajo que habéis realizado es una pasada, el reimaginar el juego en nuestra época sin perder la esencia, la jugabilidad, no pierde ritmo en ningun momento, los gráficos impresionantes a veces foto realistas , elUna obra maestra, gracias Capcom, mucha gente llevaba años esperando este REMAKE, cuando parecía imposible de repente con un simple trailer ya ganasteis el E3, pero es que el trabajo que habéis realizado es una pasada, el reimaginar el juego en nuestra época sin perder la esencia, la jugabilidad, no pierde ritmo en ningun momento, los gráficos impresionantes a veces foto realistas , el sonido terrorífico en 3D que hace que te metas de lleno en le juego...por no contar 2 campañas, con 3 modos de dificultad, que al terminarlas tienen el modo plus, así que son casi como 4 campañas mas los DLC gratuitos de supervivientes, así si Capcom, ahora a por el RE3 Nemesis remake.… Expand

    Great game incredibly short. What you get is 5 hours worth of content, game lasts 10 hours maximum and 50% of that is running through the same rooms over and over. There is no replay value what so ever. It is fun but just not worth the money.

    Now this is a video game!!! I feel like i've been waiting for Capcom to remake RE2 forever. They have very faithfully brought RE2 into current gen. Amazing experience. Thank you Capcom for making an amazing game. I hope they remake RE3 now!

    The best horror game with actual REAL GAMEPLAY, non of that hide and seek garbage! This game is fantastic, buy it! Graphics, sound design and atmosphere are excellent, the best Resident Evil game by far.

    I approached this game as someone who only discovered they quite like horror games with the evil within series and then resident evil 7. The only resident evil games I've played are 5 and 7 both of which I enjoyed in their own rights. I had never played the original of this particular game.

    Taken as a 2019 game I found it to be superb, thoroughly modern in feel and mechanics, and superb    I approached this game as someone who only discovered they quite like horror games with the evil within series and then resident evil 7. The only resident evil games I've played are 5 and 7 both of which I enjoyed in their own rights. I had never played the original of this particular game.

    Taken as a 2019 game I found it to be superb, thoroughly modern in feel and mechanics, and superb looking, with excellent use of lighting and sound to create tension. Well paced, fair, and always tense, the game balances enjoyment and stress very well, punctuating high stress moments with a short respite to enjoy the surroundings and consider the various low effort puzzles. The gun play is enjoyable and the damage models on the zombies is superb, the only slightly frustrating element would be the tyrant as although not quite the threat he appears to be he does sometimes cause frustration during puzzle sections of the game.

    Overall although I did not find the setting to be quite as captivating as that in the evil within series I thoroughly enjoyed both play campaigns of this game, talking of which although similarities obviously exist between campaign A and B (unlocked by completing A) they are unique enough to be well worth playing through, having finished A I was ready to jump straight back into B and I have a huge library of barely played steam games to attest to the fact that I bore easily.

    Highly recommended, Capcom are on a role, and it's nice to see one AAA publisher getting things right in the current climate.    … Expand

    This is one of the best RE games I've played. It brings back so many memories from the 1998 game. I love the remake of the story and I'm satisfied. I'd totally play it again.

    I never played the original on Playstation, but i did get pretty far into Remake1. This game feels a lot like Remake only with better mechanics because of the third person shooting. Which makes it a lot more fun. Overall the atmosphere and everything feels great. Overall I was pretty damn impressed with it and have fun but its not a 10/10. It doesnt feel quite as atmospheric as Remake1 and, honestly with the new shooter mechanics, I would have liked to see just a little bit more action, I know thats not a popular opinion but thats how i feel, anyone who is not an RE oldschool veteran may feel the game a little dry. One other unpopular opinion is Mr X, I think his AI is a little too much at times, it feels like you cant even walk for more than a minute or two without immediately running into him, I wish he was just a little less close to you all the time, it makes the pacing a little odd compared to like Remake which you can take your time. Its definitely better than Re7 though, and overall I have a lot of fun.… Expand

    To make it short: It´s a perfect RE-title and a true remake of a masterpiece.

    The only thing that´s a bit sad is that they effed the a-b scenario connection and some characters up. They´re basically not tied together and feel more like separate universes and the characters in the original like Annette, William and Chief Irons have more personality. I feel this game was the same. The tension, fantastic level design, intricate jigsaw-style puzzles are all brilliant early on. However, it does not take long till I'm running for what feels like an eternity, shooting a far-from-unique, ugly monster in the eye. Holy hell, are the boss fights in this game such a bore. I also only died 20 times in my first play-though, which i didn't feel was that bad, and yet i was reminded on numerous occasions that i could lower the difficulty; thanks for patronising me Capcom.

    I cannot give in to the charm of the RE universe; the cheesy dialogue, over-the-top tales surrounding an ominous corporate entity, complete lack of characterisation (okay, this is just a criticism). I will give RE2 its dues nonetheless, as there is some true, tense horror to be had, with sequences and moments that are genuinely gratifying.    … Expand

    This Resident Evil 2 doesn't replace or overwrite its source game in the way 2002's Resident Evil did, but that doesn't mean it's a bad remake. Rather, it's one of the best the medium has seen; amplifying the underlying horror and replayability at the core of the franchise. Capcom has outdone itself in an era where they're not hurting for successes. Not for the faint of heart, but a survival horror masterpiece nonetheless, Resident Evil 2 sets a standard for good horror, good action, and damn good game design.
