If you play this game expecting portal 2, you're going to be disappointed.
If you're looking for an easy to pick up and play first person puzzler, and you loved portal then this is for you. Game is a bit short but to be expected for $10, achievements keep the game relatively challenging and you won't necessarily find yourself throwing the controller on the group to work out a puzzle nor

A fun physics puzzle game, utilizing a series of functional blocks to achieve a goal of escape. If you liked Portal, you'll like this. It also contains a story line that kept me engrossed more than I would have expected; it left me wanting more.

Smart, sketchy but pacy, Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is more than worth the price of admission, regardless of format.

The premise could have been taken further. [Oct 2015, p.75]

Even though the director’s cut is better than the original, mainly thanks to the interesting story there is no denying that the ego puzzler is still in GlaDOS’ merciless hands.
