pros:great speed to match long rangers are great the graphics look amazing
cons:still missing the perfect defence balance and the licences and stadiums and a very average edit mode

I didn't have high hopes before starting this game. But i changed my mind when i started. This game is not bad at all. Especially, PES always give importance to the additional things which Fifa doesn't. Check here: http://goo.gl/mzusk2
I think the game worth it.

Great game, it is so good to play a football game that is not extremely frustrating to play, no more of those ridiculous 90 minute + goals nearly every game(unlike FIFA)

Step in Fifa, the only viable option... and so the Fifa addiction begins, along with the countless £££ spent on the cash cow that is ultimate team. A game which few would argue has firmly planted itself on its throne and refused to be moved, until now.

Whilst Pro Evo still has its flaws and can never match FIFA in terms of licensing and presentation - Konami have finally produced another game worthy of that Pro Evolution Soccer title. It is a solid, accurate representation of the game and most of the past flaws have been fixed.

I'm not saying it's perfect but focussing on Gameplay only it is the best football game i've played in ages. A bold statement when you consider the amount of time i've pumped into FIFA over the last few years.

FIFA 14, many will agree, played out better than the newer release of FIFA 15. It had a slower more methodical approach which felt more like a real game. The problem with EVERY release of FIFA which is made completely evident in Ultimate team, where teams are built on the likes of Aubameryang and Ibarbo - the games biggest flaw, the focus on Pace. In FIFA, its usually a case of the fastest team wins. The defensive AI is so flawed that a quick winger can exploit the game almost every time.
This approach in Pro Evo can be made to work but the defenders will make an active effort to win back the ball and if a quick player does get through on goal you feel a sense of achievement, not just a sensation that you have exploited the game (again...)

Now a lot of people will read this and think i'm Anti Fifa which i'm not, I scored FIFA at a very respectable 8 also - which I do believe is a score of which it is worthy. Certainly from a presentation perspective. Pro Evo just highlights FIFAs flaws, once you have played it and realise that you have to work with the ball and there are countless ways to approach a game, without focussing on chipped through ball.

On a final note - The difficult decision now is whether to stick with it, as most of my mates play FIFA and I want to remain the best on that! Or to bite the bullet and master what is the better game, at least for now.

So much better than scripted fifa...pes15 is incredibly fun to play. Players are responsive and konami have coded real intelligence into the CPU play to make it challenging instead of the scripted nonsense that is EAs preferred (lazy) modus operandi. Anyone that knows anything about footy will see the shallow experience that is fifa and recognise that PES is the only true footy game out there.

@Herman_777...Dave Rutter, is that you? You gave fifa15 a 10, despite the enormous problems it has and lack of control. Clearly you are an EA employee. Emergent behaviours...oh don't make us laugh. Is that the latest gimmick name for scripting. Let's call it what it is which is a lame attempt to code difficulty and randomness into the game, a fail anyway because the numerous exploits (aka@Herman_777...Dave Rutter, is that you? As has been said, PES has real AI coded into it whereas FIFA has none...EA simply takes control away from the player when it wants the CPU to score or makes the players skills superhuman and you're left with little else but to press x to advance the script. @Hangar18 - do you even know what you are talking about? I think it's quite clear that FIFA uses emergent behaviors (read up on that!). But as for PES, it is a pretty good entry this year and if 2 companies battle the user - hopefully - wins. FIFA - the ball is in your half.

Played FIFA on XBOX One and thought it was atrocious, I figured i'd purchase this instead. Boy what a mistake. It was apparently 'Going back to its roots', it sounded great but that's a lie. This is the first GOOD PES game since PES 2012.The gameplay is perfect for realism. The only problems are players' stamina always runs out at 60 mins every match and Master League still feels too shallow.

    Definitely a worthwhile purchase,better than FIFA 15.

Yes Fifa is scripted and just complete nonsense. But PES 2015 is also a great disappointment. Sometimes you can literally split an opponent in half and the referee won't give a freekick. Soccer supporters have a difficult choice to make this fall between the two, and I’d argue that Pro Evolution offers a more compelling experience in a number of ways.

A good step forward for Konami's series, with a solid gameplay and finally a better control over players. To be a really great soccer game it still misses too many official licenses, though.
