    Unless you’re really hankering for an ARK/Minecraft hybrid that doesn’t do a better job than either inspiration, just give PixARK a miss.

    PixArk is a survival and construction game for the whole family. It is accessible enough for even the youngest to enjoy this survival proposal, as well as deploying hundreds of possibilities for players who are looking for a bigger challenge.

    As expected with rushed releases this game (in its current state) is terrible. Constantly freezing or closing to home screen makes it difficult to play. The interface and controls have not been changed for console and really are poor. Even a 4 rating at this point is generous but the game does have so much potential its hard to ignore. I love Minecraft and Ark so this was a must buy. Hoping the dev team improve this quickly or I fear too many poor early reviews may damage its reputation too far. On console there is no online option, the server settings are very, very limited and with no tutorial its hard to understand how to do the most basic of things (don't even know how to equip a dino with a saddle yet, and am 3 hours into the game). Yes, i know its in Game Preview, so are many others that run better than this. My guess is they put the majority of their effort into the PC version so I suspect we shall see improvements in time, just hope sooner rather than later.… Full Review »
