    OvivO is not as simple as Up and Down, or Black and White, but that's exactly what it is. You are OvO, and here Black and White are the balance and harmony of existence, and you are created of both. Using your ability to switch between Black and White and cross the line between you also swap which way gravity points! You use this to navigate simplistically intricate works of black and white art, your path never quite clear, but always ahead of you. Using gravity as your tool of exploration you seek out symbols to tell 'what happened' before as you avoid falling too far and finding edges that are too sharp. The mixture of the unique game play, phenomenal black and white Art, and mesmerizing soundtrack, create a gripping atmosphere that keeps you moving along as you try to unravel the mystery, and find all there is to be seen. An unfortunate aspect is how short the game is, Big things come in small packages, rings true here as you come to the end wanting more. It's an interesting addition to platforming and if you enjoy something a little different you may want to give OvivO a spin, it was definitely enjoyable!… Expand

    Simple in terms of mechanics. 900G of "easy" achievements (as long as you learn to master the mechanics of the game and its physics). Many artistic and picture references. The game gives you great images with high artistic content worth framing.     The bad:
    It's just black and white. Cryptic, nobody explains anything to you. Anything sharp, pointed or doubtful will kill you, so you have to experiment. Once it's over (at least for me) you don't want to replay it (unless you want a great screenshot or collect collector's achievements). For my taste, it's too short

    What Meh:
    It is missing that the "normal" points shine or do something to get your attention or at least show that they are there to be collected. If you see it on demo or on sale, give it a try. No, it is not on the Xbox Game Pass (at the time of writing this review)    … Expand

    There is no denying that OVIVO on Xbox One is a fantastic game to look at and take in. The black and white levels are beautifully designed when you see them in all their glory from a different perspective. When zoomed in, as you control the ball through them though, you miss most of this aesthetic as you try and navigate through basic yet frustrating gameplay.

    Ovivo, despite its technical drawbacks and its habit of frustrating its players, is one of those games that says a great deal without ever uttering a single word. The game’s artistic inkblot-like presentation not only serves its platforming structure remarkably well, but toys wonderfully with the senses. That said, the game’s aforementioned issues do pull it just shy of greatness in the long-run, but even so, it’s one platformer I can comfortably recommend.
