    Null Drifter on Xbox One is, at the end of the day, a good experience. I’d love to see it grace the mobile scene, letting us scratch both itches of a quick and frantic gameplay experience and a relaxing, lo-fi soundtrack to listen to. Unfortunately and ultimately though, it doesn’t have the strength or stamina to exist on Xbox One beside far deeper and more rewarding video game adventures.

    Null Drifter: Asteroids on Steroids! Gameplay is provided in a retro arcade style game, you contol your ship blasting through weird andNull Drifter: Asteroids on Steroids! Gameplay is provided in a retro arcade style game, you contol your ship blasting through weird and strange enemies. Gameplay is challenging at the best of times, however as you face down and blow your foes into oblivion with gloriously powerful boosts you are rewarded with coins, you use these between games to level up traits from HP and Firepower to 2x coins and more boosts for next game. This is not for the faint of heart, gameplay quickly ramps up to a heart throbbing pace. Visually Null Drifter is old school and is not eye candy by any means in this day and age, it does capture the look and feel of those Arcades of a by gone age where many a coin got placed to claim next game. Offering up plenty of different colour schemes to be unlocked as you play gives the game a differnent look each time you change. Overall: While this game does offer difficult gameplay it does keep you coming back for more with a sense that you just need a few more upgrades to beat that next level. For the older gamers out there I do think you will enjoy this so worth picking up as this will provide a real sense of accomplishment like the retro genre only can.… Full Review »
