May 8, 2018This has to be the worst hockey game I ever played, I don't know why EA games are so different than each other, I mean... if you are going to focus everything on HUT, it should be atleast as good as FUT but is a complete mess, you are forced to go 3 4min periods in HUT even in single player tournaments...

Nov 5, 2017New moves, more things that goes wrong. All you need to do i use the poke check as much as you can and shoot when you get in the zone. Nothing has changed the last years in this franchise

Mar 2, 2018How does EA get away with ignoring everyone?
What is the logic behind continually releasing new NHL titles each year having not addressed lingering issues from years passed?
Greed, greed and more greed.
I don't have the words ... shame on you Eectronic Arts -

Nov 25, 2017Waste of money. Worst sport game ever. Pay money and buy expensive players f you want to win games. Stay away. Games are scripted, no matter how better you are than AI, if you don't pay money for players the AI scores 3 goals in 3 seconds

Oct 24, 2017Terrible AI both in your team and opposing team, in HUT why bother with ratings when a team in the 60's plays like world beaters? They are able to stop and deke on a dime while you float way past unable to pull up allowing open ice for the opposing AI to skate without you able to do anything about it. One word frustation.

Mar 15, 2018This game is fun, like every other NHL, but it's appropriate to say that EA's NHL franchise' is melting ice.

Nov 18, 2017EA is on a mission to make money and disrespect all it's consumers. The pay to play paradigm may work for the Clintons...but it has no place in video game sports. Everyone should be on the same level...instead EA allows HUT players to purchase million dollar teams...making HUT completely worthless unless you have millions of dollars to spend on players. What next pay for in game goals?

Aug 17, 2018When NHL 15 hit, sports games as we knew it died. Now everything is full of lootboxes and all of it feels like another roster update. If you think a subscription will make things great, well then there will probably be no updates, and by a couple of months you will run out of things to do. There is no hope, 2K can make a comeback, but with EA, the magic of 94 to 14 is gone

Oct 12, 2017NHL 18 will satisfy hockey fans; that goes without saying. Its real achievement though is in its design, which will seamlessly teach and assist a player who knows nothing about hockey. They’re likely to stick around too, because as it turns out, hockey is a blast in videogame form.

Oct 11, 2017The new NHL Threes mode is fun and takes up a lot of time without getting boring. The Training Camp also stands out from similar modes in other games. The graphics and weird behavior of the AI sometimes could have been better, but NFL is still a good game.

Oct 6, 2017NHL 18 introduces some welcome novelties in the Threes and Training Camp mode, but it ultimately feels too similar to the previous game.
