    New Super Lucky’s Tale is reminiscent of the 3D collect-athon platformers of yore and the newest in the now series. Unlike some more egregious titles that overdid the collecting aspect, this tale is simpler and more accessible to younger and casual gamers. Lucky is easy to control with his limited but effective moveset. He can run, jump, and double jump. He attacks enemies by swiping hisNew Super Lucky’s Tale is reminiscent of the 3D collect-athon platformers of yore and the newest in the now series. Lucky is easy to control with his limited but effective moveset. He can run, jump, and double jump. He attacks enemies by swiping his tail or pounding the ground. My favorite move is his burrow ability, which allows him to dig underground to run under low gates, collect goodies, and solve puzzles. There aren’t any power-ups, though, so this is the extent of Lucky’s moves. The question of progression is one that rears its head once more. Lucky has his moves from the outset, and doesn’t learn any new skills throughout the entire adventure. With his combination of running, jumping, digging and tail-spinning there is enough choice, but it never elevates beyond this. That's not a bad thing just something I noticed about the game. Fans of the original are in for a treat and those that haven't tried it yet, I'd highly recommend it.… Expand

    Let’s face it, it’s a Super Mario clone....BUT....it’s probably one of the best Super Mario clones out there. Now that it is 4K and 60 FPS, it plays super smooth. It’s on game pass and is well worth your time.

    If you like games such as Super Mario 3D World , Crash Bandicoot ect. Definitely give this game a go, you wont regret it! Great game for all ages.

    I'm 40 and probably shouldn't love this game as much as I do. From the music, to the characters, to the visuals and gameplay - the fun & charm factors are off the chart. A fresh-feeling, modern-day Banjo Kazooie with every bit as much soul.

    - descent graphics and controls
    - lovely characters and soundtrack
    - old school gameplay

    Cons:
    - pretty short
    - bad voice acting (white trash accent just doesn't fit the cute characters)
    - imbalanced difficulty level ranging from far too easy to unfair

    Em questão a gráficos o jogo não é a coisa mais maravilhosa do mundo, mas é um jogo bonito o suficiente, o design dos personagens foi bem feito.     Em questão de trilha sonora ela não é desagradável de ouvir, porém não é tão memorável, é nostálgica em algumas situações e em outras só feliz mesmo.

    Quanto a gameplay, as mecânicas são simples mas funcionam bem, porém existe um GRANDE pecado que estraga muito a sua gameplay: a câmera. A câmera nas batalhas de chefe e em seções de plataformas 2D nas de 3D principalmente, peca muito, fazendo você pular e pousar em lugares que a câmera faz você achar que está pulando, mas na verdade toma dano, ou cai pra fora, ou até morre. Isso fica mais evidente em Foxingtown onde você provavelmente vai morrer bastante por causa da câmera defeituosa.

    New Super Lucky's Tale é um jogo claramente inspirado em Mario, e comparando os dois claramente dá pra ver que ele não consegue superar seus concorrentes, ainda que nostálgico sendo uma homenagem a jogos 3D do PS1 ainda sim não se destaca contra seus concorrentes. Mas se você quer uma experiência diferente delas, então vale a pena checar o jogo, ele está disponível na Xbox Game Pass.

    This is a great game! It reminds me of Spyro with how the worlds and levels are done. Almost every level is designed well and feels rewarding instead of challenging. I never found myself getting frustrated or thinking the game was "unfair" when I lost a life. The game makes you want to go back and get 100% on that level where you forgot something and despite it being a pretty short game IThis is a great game! No, it's not a 100 hour RPG but it's not meant to be. It's a cute game that can be enjoyed by almost everybody. The only real complaint that I can make would be that the voice acting is not very good and some times just non-existent leading to you having to read a lot of dialogue. All around it is a very well put together game and I hope we get a sequel soon.… Expand

    A very good platformer. Its very charming and the puzzles are challenging but not too challenging. It was fun collecting everything.

    New Super Lucky’s Tale is the best Lucky’s Tale title to date. The colorful visuals are now in 4K at 60 frames per second, something nobody can complain about. The cast of characters are complemented by impressive voice acting. While Lucky’s Tale may have originated as an Oculus Rift pack-in game, New Super Lucky’s Tale has really evolved after originally debuting on the Nintendo Switch last November. The transition from Switch to Xbox is impressive. When Yooka-Laylee released back in 2017, I expected it to reinvigorate my love for the 3D platforming genre similar to how Super Mario Odyssey did, but I had to wait until New Super Lucky’s Tale to truly feel that satisfaction.

    As unlikely as it may appear, New Super Lucky Tale is a punchy and polished platformer that does a great job of thrusting you into its luscious worlds. While there’s nothing truly astonishing here, New Super Lucky’s Tale does a splendid job of giving its players a joyful and fun platforming adventure game with lots of puzzles and challenges to keep one busy for the duration of its six-seven hour runtime. Youngsters will certainly find a lot to love here and in this vein New Super Lucky’s Tale is a triumph. Everyone else will find a nice and pleasant platformer but might want more excitement and memorable moments that they probably won’t find here. Ultimately Lucky’s tale is one worth taking in no matter your age, just keep in mind that you may not find enough excitement or story for your liking.

    New Super Lucky’s Tale on the Xbox One aims to be a love letter to 3D platformers of old, and it absolutely is. For older gamers it feels instantly familiar, yet fresh, and littler ones will have a blast playing as Lucky.
