While Neon Junctions is relatively short and is a bit on the easy side at first, for the price that it retails at and the great soundtrack included, I feel this game is perfect for anyone looking to get into the puzzle game genre.

Neon Junctions is a bad game for a range of different reasons. Not only are the solutions to its puzzles insultingly straightforward throughout the entirety of play, but its sheer lack of depth, together with its habit of constantly recycling the same ideas, ultimately makes for a very boring, tedious affair. If you’re in the market for new puzzle platformer, look elsewhere, because Neon Junctions falls flat on both fronts, and more besides.

Ratalaika Games has been quite an active publisher on the Xbox One and most of the games they’ve released have been fun and priced according to the content of each of their releases. Neon Junctions is no different either because it features a genre I enjoy and I’m pleased to say that it has been done well. Nein Junctions is puzzle solving, and in order to solve these puzzles you really do have to put a lot of thought into them which does make completing each level feel rewarding. Each puzzle has a variety in them as well so fans of the puzzle genre will find this worth the low price of admission. If you’re not a fan of the genre this game won’t do anything to change your mind about the genre. In terms replay ability there isn't any, but when you factor in the game’s low price you do still without a doubt get very good value for your money. There aren't many problems with the game overall and with the retro design present you tend to find that this game remains enjoyable. Neon Junctions isn’t the best puzzle game on the market, but it’s still a nice addition to the genre and it definitely gets most things right which makes it an easy purchase for fans of the puzzle genre. Neon Junctions is another 5 dollar release from Ratalaika games with a quick and easy thousand gamer score or easy trophies.I'd say it will take you at most a hour and a half to complete these. The objective in Neon Junctions is to connect circuits to power a portal to escape the level. You connect them by applying blocks you find scattered through out the level. There are things to keep you from doing so like elevators, doors that won't let you bring blocks through them. and even platforms you must find ways to climb. There are 34 3D levels filled with different types of obstacles to learn and over come. It has a real 80s vibe with the neon grid, and moon. Also the Synth-filled vaporware soundtrack adds to this as well. This review won't be that long, because I pretty much summed it all up right there.
Is it for you? I think if you are an Achievement hunter or trophy it is a can't miss especially at the low Ratalaika price points. If your a fan of non stressful puzzling you will also enjoy. It's difficult at times, and makes you think. it really never makes you over think. It's not stressful difficult, it's just a light challenge amount of fun. So check it out, and let us know what you think.

    Pros: Inexpensive fun and Achievements
    Looks and sounds really cool
    Challenging but not to stressful

Cons: A tad short , but for a few bucks not a major issue

Overall: 7.1 A puzzler for puzzle fans that don't want to sit and get frustrated and lost. Also for fans of puzzlers who like to add a quick completion to their achievements or trophies.
