Ghost games did impressive with the game. The visuals look almost realistic with the car models, cop chases are more reasonable, and customization is back in a big way. However there are minor fps drops which are really not as impactful and the game is indeed online but there is not much issues.

The game uses FMV (Full Motion Video) for the Cutscenes even though they are corny but they were never meant to be serious. You can sometimes understand what there intentions are. The FMV Cutscenes are also meant to be for mission expansion.

A.I. rubber banding is indeed involved with the game. The A.I. cars meant to keep up at your speed so if you want to play with a crappy Volvo, you may possibly win a race.

Missions are straight forward. Sprints, Circuits, Time Trials, Drift Trials, Drift Races, Gymkhanas.

The game is online and I am somewhat disappointed since sometimes my internet just can't handle it.

Eddie is in the game as well and you can earn his car for free if you beat him. Manual transmission is back and even though I dont use it, I'm pretty sure would love to use it.

Customization is outstanding. You can customize the front bumpers, back bumpers, body kits, side skirts, rims, tire treads, exhaust tips, bonnet hoods, splitters, trunk lids, diffusers, front fenders, back fenders, headlights, backlights, window tint, color, vinyls, preset wraps, and soon to come "neon lights".
Customization is the most realistic kind, only with aftermarket brands. Some cars have lots of customization, some have little, and a little have not at all. There are 53 cars in the game but the objective of the cars is perfecting not collecting. The cars also are built inside the game. Your customized car can be in the cutscene.

The career is split into 5 ways to play. Speed, Style, Build, Crew, Outlaw. The main elements in Need For Speed. With real life icons and actors who look up to these people.

Police chases are not as aggressive as what was in NFS Rivals but more fairer, less buggy and more playable. Roadblocks, spike strips, and the actual cruisers feel more realistic and fun. Some roadblock slow you down but you still pass them, while roadblocks made with cement blocks and rhino units are impossible to pass unless you find an extra road. The pursuit levels come into 5 levels. You can simply pay a fine and get the pursuit over with but that's not as fun. You need to pester them enough in order to get on with the pursuit. While starting in a pursuit, you are chased by 1 cop, but overtime you will be chased by a few more. The largest amount I've seen was 7 and trust me cops aren't as easy to get ride of at a decently customized ride. Unlike other games where is easy to destroy some low level cars, trying to do that is almost impossible. Just don't try to take 'em out you may get busted.

    Pros:
    Surreal Graphics
    Awesome racing
    Simple story line
Easy to learn hard to master
    The ultimate return
    Amazing sounds

    Cons:
    Internet Problems

I've read the other users reviews and think that most of them misjudge this game by comparing it to the old NFS's(HP,U,U2,MW,etc.) and depreciate it's value based on their past experience with the old ones.

It is likely to judge ,,biased'' on past experience as some games cached us at an early age, an age when a few variety of good games to play existed, the online component of that games was at it's begging and the amount of players that went online at that time almost knew each other. The good ol' games how we say now, had a emotional impact on our person that in the present doesn't apply anymore, due to the multiple choices in playing titles, little time(the ones that have a job, fend for themselves and have a good gaming background so they can comment on a game with knowledge).I don't think that all opinions are wrong, some of them are pretty valid(obvious rubber banding, online justification and lack of customization), but from that to:
    - ,,the game is terrible and I shall grade it with 0 points cus' it let down me and my entire race ''
    - ,, ha-ha that will teach them to impose their thinking upon me ''
    I think it's a long/wrong way and it's mostly due to saturation troll-age.
To make a long story short, for me it's a very good game, surprised on some levels with all that's brought to the pot and almost everybody missed in their comments, about the -car culture- throwing in there Ken Block(huge fan of his Gymkhanas), and Magnus Walker which any Porsche fan and petrol-head should know. Also that car list man, could've chosen it better , it's like all the cars I love and mean something for a car enthusiast are there. The game has a lot of good points, it's very in the present kinda game, does not make you a : ,, eat lead , drink gasoline and spit fiery bullets kinda hero'' which we are used with lately on mmorpg/online shooters. I's a racing game developed around car culture environment with pretty palpable and down to earth characters which have fast cars and like to race them for a hobby. I'm sure that in time they will fix up the weak points, because that happens in an online game.

Thing, that NFS game have been lacking for a long time. The grim dark Ventura Bay city is just a perfect setting for a game about street racing. And is also breathtaking, with lot of things to explore. Various URBEX spots, Vistas and much more! The story contains real people/racers (Ken Block, Magnus Walker, Akira Nakai), which pulls you into the story, as you conquer the local streets. It features one of the best paint editors I've seen in a long time in a videogame. There are three things to adress: Handling of the cars, which is clumsy at times, but overall fine, Cheesy cutscenes, which do not personally bother me, but I can see why it makes some people angry and the weird brutal rubber banding system. But still, i will rate this game a 10, EA fixed everything the community asked for. People asked for Manual? Boom it is here! Drag races? Boom! And a lot of FREE DLC's made me love this game. So if you ever happen to find yourself in Ventura Bay, drive towards the corner between Harbor View and Apollo heights, you will witness the most picturesque vista I've ever seen in any videogame whatsoever. This gane absolutely does NOT deserve the terrible reviews it's getting. I feel like maybe a couple people gave it bad ratings and the rest just followed suit. As a Need for Speed player since its birth, I know the game franchise inside and out. I've been through their ups and downs and multiple variations of the game.

First of all, what people are complaining about is what Need for Speed has ALWAYS HAD!!!!!!

    1. Rubber Band AI...um, I can't think of a need for speed without this one lol I think it makes the game fun. Why does everyone all of a sudden have a problem with this? I'll tell you why..Because One persone said it so now everyones on the bandwagon.

    2. Sound track.. completely objective. I don't think it's bad at all.

    3. Always at night... Does anyone remember Carbon? I do.. great game.

    4. Arcade driving. This one blows my mind.. OF COURSE ITS ARCADE DRIVING YOU FOOLS!!! ITS NEED FOR SPEED. If you want realistic check out forza or its variation horizon. This is a game about arcade fun driving.

    5. Other random complaints about drifting in the game? really? Underground, Carbon.. etc..

    6. Cheesy Story.. Because NFS always had a great story lol I was like 10 years old and could still see through the cheesiness at times. They've always been cheesy!! give me a break people.

Now for what I think is actually wrong.

    1. The game sometimes has a frame rate drop. I don't know if it has to do with the graphics or always being online, but it's an issue I'd really like fixed.

    2. Always online is kind of annoying. I really loved how Burnout Paradise did it. You could choose to be offline or online. People seem to be moving away from always online games and that makes me happy.

    3. Lack of police is a bummer. It takes a while to find the cops. When you do however, the chases can be exhilarating.

    4. The city does in fact need a little more character. I do agree with people on this. So far, my favorite open world has been Most Wanted. Maybe it was the day time, maybe it was the actual city I don't know. I just loved the feel of that game. I would have really liked them to incorporate daytime into the game but it's not a killer in my opinion.

    The good..

Awesome driving, fun cop chases, great audio effects, great graphics overall. This game is a Solid 8 and definitely a fun experience if you are an arcade racing fan.

Side note: I have yet to play with buddies online, I'll update this after I do.

Need for Speed is the reboot of this arcade racer that has been around since 1994.
I’ve enjoyed all of the modern need for speeds games, even the cinematic style The Run, but none of them really made my heart sing like Underground 2 did.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that This Need For Speed reboot pulled me back in again in the way that ps2 era classic did.
The feel of this game is underground from the moment it starts.
Like Underground 2, this game takes place in one giant city at night.
You’re pulled into the underground scene by all of your hashtag hipster friends that say all of your favorite cringe worthy vocabulary that the kids are using today like bae and hand out tons of brofists like they’ve spent too much time watching pewdiepie instead of me.. which hurts my feelings a little bit, but whatever.
Like in Underground 2, there are different style races and challenged spread out around the map that you can freely play in any order you choose. You have the choice to either drive to them or teleport to them which is a huge time saver.
The challenges for the most part consist of time trials, racing, and drifting.
There aren’t all too many circuit races which is kind of a bummer, but I’m torn, this is a street racing game, the races feel like street races more so than they did 9 years ago… but oddly enough I preferred the set tracks with invisible walls and actually miss that more arcardey style of racing..
Need for Speed does do a great job with lighting up the road though to help you stay on track which is great and should honestly be implemented into all open world games… it was nice looking at the world more than staring at a map the for once.
One race style that I’m a little sad to see missing is Drag Racing.. I’ve never been good with manual racing in games.. but they got my heart pumping more than any racing challenge has in the past… but I was horrible at them, so hated them just as much as I loved them.
It would’ve been nice to see them return, but in this world I’m kind of glad they didn’t…
I’m sad to say that the open world in need for speed is pretty bland…
I couldn’t tell once section of the map from the other..
Unlike in underground 2 where unlocking a new section felt like going into an entirely new map, everything is unlocked from the beginning here and it all looks and feels the same.
No variety which means no urge to explore.
There are cops running around that seem to never be there when you want to do an outlaw mission, but they are there for you to mess with, or they’ll occasionally interrupt your street racing..
You can mess with them to build up your fine then escape if you can for a reward or just pull over and pay the small fine you start out with.
The cops are very reasonable in this game, not too aggressive or over powered.
Customization is back with much more freedom with decals and paint, but the variety of body and tire options are nowhere near the golden days of need for speed.
Car Variety is also pretty iffy, and you can purchase the best car in the game about 6 hours in of this 12hour campaign.
The story and cut scenes actually had me wanting more and I was surprised how well the live action scenes actually blended with the game.
While this game isn’t on the level on Underground 2, they are definitely on the right track
I loved my time with Need for Speed, but I have to say that I am mostly disappointed in the fact that this game is always online..
7 other players can join your world at any time, you can set your privacy to invite only if you choose, and you can challenge these friends to races like you could with the ai drivers in underground 2
But even if you won’t want to play with other people, you have to connect to a server for the game to even start.. and honestly I was the only person challenging other people, and only because I felt obligated to as a reviewer… It’s nice to see my friend’s high scores, and kind of cool to try and take on daily challenges, but this all could’ve been done without forcing an online connection…
I also had problems logging in with my sub account on PlayStation 4 thanks to this always online game forcing you to have an origin account to do anything, so prepare to do some hoop jumping if you’re buying this game for your family.

When you think of Need For Speed, what comes to mind? The fun racing gameplay that we remember from the first Most Wanted, or the cheesy movie starring Jesse Pinkman? Need For Speed 2015 brings back the best of the open world driving of the first Most Wanted, and ups the cheese factor.

Graphically, Need For Speed is one of the prettiest games I’ve ever seen on the PS4. Ghost took the Frostbite engine, which powers all of Dice’s games including Battlefield and the new Star Wars Battlefront, and created a beautiful fictional city with some of the best car models in any game, ever. The beauty of the game is helped along by full-motion cutscenes that digitally add your car into the background of some of the scenes. While live action cutscenes are cool, sometimes the cheese factor with the actors playing to the camera is greatly increased. With Need For Speed, bring along some macaroni noodles, as there’s more cheese than a broke college student knows what to do with.

When you first meet Spike, he seems like a really pumped guy who only wants to race. But after the third or fourth fist bump from him he starts to get on your nerves. His wackiness and obsession with the Speed king Magnus Walker makes the girls with Bieber fever look normal. That right there is one of the issues with this reboot of the once-great racing franchise. Every character in the so-called “story” is obsessed with the king of their respective discipline.

Manu, the drifter, is driven by a cool mind that yearns for the attention of Ken Block, the big name for this iteration. While the drifting events are usually very easy to complete if you spend more than two seconds tuning your car in the garage, the gymkhana events that come later on are a test of patience and skill, but mostly your will to not throw your controller halfway across the room after just lightly scraping the wall during a big drift and losing your points. Combining speed and drifting into one event sounds like a great idea, but getting that right balance figured out is way too much work for a fairly small payoff.

Amy is the builder of the group, focused on creating the best overall cars that work in a number of events. Luckily, you are given the chance to change your setup in between events to find what works best for the different events that you will face going down Amy’s story. The master builder, Nakai-San, a Japanese builder who created one of the prettiest 1972 Porsche RWBs I’ve ever seen.

Robyn is the Crew-focused driver, where driving with other drivers gets you points. Most of the events in this path line are Drift Trains, where you have to keep up with an A.I. system that takes rubber-banding to the extreme, and more Race- style events. Robyn’s looking for acceptance from the Risky Devil crew, who are all about leaving everything out on the streets and wearing your scars as pride.

Travis is the most secretive of the group, and also (at least by appearance) the oldest. His story is focused on the Outlaw branch, where breaking every law in the book is actively encouraged. Every one of the races in this branch will in some way run into the police, who are also powered by an A.I. that gives them one hell of a catch-up boost. Escaping the police is easiest if you happen to have a fast car, as even though the police can catch up to any of the cars, you can eventually power past them with brute speed. The head Outlaw, Morohoshi-San, drives one of the meanest Lambos ever built.

The bosses are hard but fair. If you screw up, whether it be your fault or the traffic that seems to magically spawn in front of you when going through an intersection, there’s almost no hope of catching them to win the races. Luckily, you usually only have to complete the races to finish the objectives.

The A.I. system that I alluded to earlier seem to have a very fast rubber band attached to you at all times. It can be a good thing, as it allows you to catch up right at the end, but it also means that even in the fastest car that you can build you will have a challenge to win the race. My 1000+ horsepower Lamborghini had a hard time winning races over Amy’s little Nissan 180z. This system can be fun at times as it offers a challenge in the races, but it can get really annoying as well, when you lose races that you should’ve clearly won any day of the week.

All in all, Need For Speed 2015 puts this franchise back onto the rails headed in the right direction, it just fails to give it the initial push that it needs. Even though this games looks absolutely stunning, the cheesy story and rough systems make this game one that is easily skippable, especially in a month that includes Fallout, Tomb Raider, and a new Call of Duty.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Need For Speed this game gave me mixed feelings for various reasons so lets get in to this review i'll start with the positives i love the fact you can now tune every aspect of your vehicle from the ride height to how stiff you want the handbrake and even put camber on the wheels although you do have to level up earning rep from various styles of play to unlock all these options this makes a pleasant change from slapping a decal on a car and getting right in to it

The graphics are another positive the car models look fantastic the view of the city is stunning as well even though its nearly always at night but i'll tackle the day and night cycle in further in to this review

Live action cut scenes were a nice addition to the game although at times a little cheesy with random fist bumps and a heavy push of the monster energy drink brand but i definitely would not consider them a negative

Ok so now the negatives to this game lets start with that day and night cycle its 90% night and raining occasionally day comes around and then it switches back to the night again pretty sharpish this can be rather annoying

The AI still think this is demolition derby and not need for speed in certain events like drift races for example the tiniest bump or scratch makes you lose all your points and the AI especially in drift train events do not consider this and will write you off like you do not matter

Then there is the good old fashioned need for speed perfectly timed cars and trucks appearing just at the right time when your doing 150+ MPH to write you off this can be frustrating especially in sprint events

There is also no offline option so you can't really pause this game which can be annoying as hell if your halfway through the race and you have to answer the door or have to pop out at an instant you either have to stick it out or crash basically

The city feels dead if you feel like you just want to cruise around the city there really isn't any traffic anywhere apart from the odd truck and lonely car where is everybody !!!

Last but not least the police are pretty non existent i know the aim was to tone it down but its so hard to find the police anywhere especially if your trying to do the outlaw challenges you have to drive around forever find a police car then nudge it to get it to chase you then you have to proceed to do 40MPH until it calls for backup just in case you lose it especially in faster top end cars

O mapa não é tão grande e não tem tantos detalhes, não sei o que aconteceu, mais parece que o jogo por se passar a noite algumas coisas foram deixadas para o lado, dando a entender que ninguém notaria.

    It returns.

After all, this game was brought to life, after all it sucked.
The amazing tunes and upgrades were mind blowing. I was happy when I got the beta.

Unfortunately, the XBOX got the thing wrong.

It had stutters, shut down easily and never really worked, it looked also weird with non-HD graphics.

But I let Microsoft pass because XBOX One wasn't really that good.

Requiring being online is coming with a lot of problems, if your connection goes unstable or slow, your car doesn't listen your commands, cant turn, cant boost cant slide etc etc. And this coming with a really bad handling problems. there goes another "-1"

Graphics are satisfied me, nice and no fps drops. funny drift events and got a nice drift course on the north of that map. I see real players but no one cares anybody just doing career events :D no communication or i didnt realise how it is for now. :D maybe this MP situation gives us a "-1" too.

I give it 7/10, and if u love nfs series you can buy it.

I think game is good btw. after NFS Carbon, they going down and down. But this time somethings different i think. and may be after this game, things going better for NFS and us..

The selection of cars is quite big to so any kind of car fan should be able to find a car he or she likes. Each car also handles slightly different but with the upgrade system in the game you are able to tweak a car to your preferences. The process of choosing the car you wanted to build up, saving up the money and then upgrading was one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. Then once you start racing with said car the game really starts coming together. Seeing your creation in motion is awesome and usually inspires you to go buy another car and do it all over And you will need to in the game. It has multiple types of races from Circuit,Sprint,Drift,Drift Train and so much more, So it can be hard trying to build one car that can do it all. The Driving in NFS is defiantly something more related to a arcade racing game but is still enjoyable. Fans of more realistic driving games may find it hard at first to adjust. The streets you race on seem to always be wet or it's raining so drifting and sliding around cars and corners is easy and fun buy at times in the wrong car or turn things become difficult. Later in the game you can run into some extremely uneven races and challenges that may become frustrating and sadly trying to "Restart" A race just makes you reload to before the race start and then load the race all over again, This becomes Extremely frustrating after only a few times and is a major oversight. The story to the game isn't very interesting and is told thought live action cinematics like previous games and sadly almost every-time the actors are horrible and it's no different this time around. The game also forces you to always be online so you can't pause the game and if you ever lose internet in the middle of a race...well to bad.
Need For Speed is far from perfect but it does do somethings extremely well and that leads to having perfect moments with the game you will love but also those moments that are far from that.

    What happened to Awesome?

When friends ask me about the Need For Speed 2015, I reply “It's okay but I just don't get the 'wow' or 'awesomeness' I was expecting” … that about sums it up really.

An average game that fails to meet the expectations & hype that was built up over the last year or so. The playing environment is about the right size with scope for more add-on locations, the roads are excellent with a good mix of Highway, trunk roads, rail-tracks, back alleys winding country roads and canyon areas. There are docks, rail yards, industrial and suburban areas and then there is half a city .. I say 'half' because you can clearly see a fine city-scape with the usual towers and sky-high office blocks, but you just cant drive between them. The game play all takes part in a 'from dusk-til-dawn' time cycle and it seems to rain about 80% of the time. There are no bright sunny afternoons, there is no 'bright-time' at all which gives a very dreary look to the city, the cars and the monotonous gameplay .. in short Ventura Bay is a depressing looking place .. by design. No wonder I dont seem to be able to do the marathon sessions that I can do in sunny 'Horizon 2' .. we all need a little sunshine.

I have no major problem with the cars themselves, I am happy with all that I have driven so far. As for the mix or choice, well people will argue over that all night .. but then again, I will guess there will be more added. The driving mechanics feel good to me, again that will be debated by the 'experts'. The car customisation options are many and varied, yet some of the cars I chose had very limited custom parts to choose from, many have a 'none available' message for you when you go to change bodywork parts or headlights. The 'wrap editor' in the main is excellent although the control-tools for applying are poor compared with the likes of Forza. A 'paint palette' or colour chart, would have been good to help match exact shades, even better a 'previous colours' used list instead of having to fiddle about with the sliders and trusting your vision. Applying 'TEXT' is a nightmare [if you want to have a professional look] There is only 1 single type-font and resizing each letter and placement takes forever and that is just for black, add in a colour and you have a real 'patience-tester' on your hands. Again Forza allows you to create 'layer groups' on a graph grid for accuracy, then you can save to use on any other vehicle.

On to the game-play; from conception this game came with the tag line - 'Five ways to Play' well sorry, I dont see it like that, I see one way to play with five ways of scoring. It's nigh impossible to score in one way alone [perhaps with 'build' you can, If you only build and never leave the garage] The events can become a bit repetitive but I suppose there's not than many other types of events in a racing game .. we race; but they missed a trick employed by Driveclub .. make the events available also in reverse, “et voila” double the number of tracks/races/events.

The 'Collectables' are a little tame; drive to a camera and take a snapshot? .. 'donut' here .. follow the sign to get a free car part … there could have been something with a challenge attached, something that is measurable and could be scored, like for instance in Rivals there were speed zones, speed cameras and proper jumps, all of which you could compete for on 'speedwalls' plus they greatly add to the number of challenges available. Even the inclusion of a dedicated playground would have enhanced the overall variety of play … not to mention fun .. yes fun, there should be some in a game.

… and what about the 'story' well, it's okay. As movies go it will never win an Oscar, it does what it was intended to do, it's the wrapping of the product, the presentation; I wont knock it. I only wonder how much time and money was invested in that production that may have been channelled into actual game creation. It is what it is!

    Other observations have me asking;

Why, when the gas stations are abundant, weren't they enabled in a similar fashion to those in 'Most Wanted' or 'Rivals' ? [I hate cruisin' with a bashed up front end]

How awful is it to spend hours & hours on awesome wraps and decals when the dark and dingy world doesn't allow other to appreciate your masterpiece.

On speedwalls, i'd like to see which car my friend/rival used for that event.

Why on earth is each lobby limited to a maximum of 8 players, surely that could easily have been doubled? … and don't be fooled by the use of the term 'crew' this is just what they refer to when they mean 'lobby' just players on the same map at the same time, who may or may not be affiliated to you.

Did I mention the constant 'phone calls'? How irritating are those?

… I'm being picky now, aren't I, but then again, that is the point, it's my review, it's how I see it and how I feel about the game. Everyone of us has an opinion on Need For Speed 2015, what we love about it,what we hate and how we would have made it awesome. Don't get me wrong, I will be playing this game, I will enjoy this game but I cant help feeling that they delivered 'Okay' & not 'Awesome'

    .. In a nutshell, I'm disappointed .. 6 out of 10 [because I dont do halves]

After playing it for 12 hours (88% of the game):

This game is what I expected from an new gen Halo.

    Gameplay 7/10:
The Gameplay is cool, but very very casualised... There is basically nothing to do anymore... Just full throttle, break and dodge other car. It's as simple as that since that auto drift system do everything.
It bored me after some time. I dont want a car simulation, and i don't care if there is no manual transmission. But in the olds NFS, it was a bit more interesting and hard to play, and the race where intense and close, now is kinda easy, you race against [add random name], you jsut throttle and you win. GG WP.
The city feels dead so even the "obstacles" are so few that you don't need to focus on the game to play to be honest, there is almost no traffic.

    Audio: 8/10
Engine sound and Car sound while in race are fine but not amazing. I'm not that much into car game, but I honestly don't think that those sound are great.

    Graphics : 7/10
Well, the frostbite always make most of the work in the EA game. The game is beautiful, the car look are great, and I love those NFS cutscene with real life characters combined with in game car, sometimes you don't see the difference.
Sadly, the city is empty, without many details on the roads and the weather is always the same.

    Customisation 8/10 :
You can customise some car very deeply, basically each point of the car. But there are not many car, and some of them (like lamborghini etc..) god 0 customisable part (at least at level 46).
You can put stickers, change paint and wheels but that all.

    AI and Progression 3/10 :
So now, I don't know if it's me, if there is an hidden option or something, but the Cops are useless ! You just full throttle and you lose them. Seriously, it's harder to be sued more than 10 seconds, rather than sow the police...
I tried to smash cars but you can't anymore, and that was super funny in Carbon, destroy the police car while they chase you. Most of the race are mega easy, ok it's a casualised game, but pls, at least make the opponent a bit more aggressive... at 50% of the campaign I could already buy the best car, and upgrade it to basically full upgrade (the one available) and I didn't played many side race, just the main campaign...
The Friend AI and Opponent AI are brainless, and boring, there is 0 progression from what we could already play on Underground II.

    City : 4/10
The city is annoying, empty always rainy, there is no life, nothing enjoyable. Sometime there are some bin or bus stops to destroy and that all. Ventura Bay is depressing and without life. Everything is closed, no memorable building... nothing, you could be on the "generic_map_for_release01" it would be the same. There are many side race everywhere, but it's most of the time the same track and the same think (drift/timeAttack/Race).

    Multiplayer 3/10:
The most useless feature is the all online... You see people connect/disconnect to your game, people you don't and won't ever know. You can race them (which is pointless and happened 0 time in over 12hours) or you can run into them (most of the time) and crash your car while in race because you are booth doing your solo race vs AI. Expect that, well this feature is useless.
And the worst thing is that because of this, you can't pause the game!! which is a pain in the ass! You will have to run the race from A to Z vs AI without stop because some random dude is doing his stuff on the other side of the map, and you will never meet him.

    Conclusion :
Well, I was hoping for something as good as Most Wanted or Carbon, and I think there is nothing (expect the open world and the cinematic) of those game in this NFS.
I think i would enjoy much more replaying an old NFS again than playing this.

Despite cringe-worthy storylines and curious decisions to require a constant internet connection, Need For Speed succeeds for several reasons. Most importantly, the racing is a blast. A wide variety of styles are available, and the ability to quickly adapt and win makes the adventure more than worthwhile. It’s beside the point that Need For Speed doesn’t compare with big-time simulation racers like Forza or Gran Turismo; instead of chasing half-second improvements based on real-world tracks, Need For Speed celebrates driving like a maniac in a big world with no reality to concern yourself with.

Long story short, Forza’s customization is more professional but harder to use, while Need For Speed’s customization lacks in areas and it more suitable for people with less knowledge on cars.

A good reboot for the series, with some very nice ideas but with a bit too many technical issues. It looks more like an unfinished job, something that could have used some more development time.
