    A disappointing package. Taken on its own merits, playing the game is a bland exercise in mediocrity. Fun, but fleeting.

    If Encore had all of the included DLC and had signs that some effort went into making it for current-gen, then it would be a different story. Instead, you have a game that’s kind of fun in very short bursts, but only if you’re a huge fan of the series and genre. If the controls weren’t such a mess and the stunt system an exercise in what I see as "finger yoga", then I would say to at least give it a try, but in its current state though, this one is doomed to stay stuck in its own rut.

    MX Vs. ATV Supercross: Encore is not a very well done game. While it has a few redeeming qualities, the actual racing and controls (the part of the game that really matters) is just far too inconsistent and just not that fun to play.

    Complete waste of money. It's that rare case when I want my money back, cause I'm not going to play this game ever. Tha controls are terrible,Complete waste of money. Tha controls are terrible, I fell like I'm drunk with the rider wailing from left to right and never going straight. It's just impossible to ride in one direction with this Reflex control system. And having only three freeride areas, two of which are just the same from MXvsATV Refles game - ridiculous. The third freeride area is useless, there's no good jumps where you can perform cool tricks. Speaking of tricks - the controls are also terrible for these. If you started a backflip, the rider will rotate until he hits the ground, noo matter if stopped pulling the stick or even pulled it in the opposite direction. Performing tricks with stunt modifiers is extremely unreliable and almost impossible. So, I was really looking forward to freestyle and freeride part of the franchise and this installment is a major dissapointment. Still, Nordic Games have my money, but they don't deserve it.… Full Review »

Le pilotage a même régressé depuis les précédentes itérations de cette licence plus ou moins moribonde, ce qui donne quelque chose ici d'à peine jouable et de très désordonné avec une IA qui se croit à la fête à neuneus.

    Le réalisme est aux abonnés absents alors que du point de vue de l'arcade, on restera sur sa faim, la faute à une prise en main décidément peu précise et malaisée. Les courses dans les arènes sont toujours aussi "grand guignol" et bordéliques ; quant aux figures, elle ne sortent pas ou quand elles veulent (elles attendent encore le télégramme, je suppose).

    Le jeu est de toute façon étonnamment vilain, si vilain qu'on arrive à peine à croire qu'il soit sorti en... 2015 ! Bref, on ne perd pas davantage de temps avec un tel étron : on balance et on tire la chasse !    … Full Review »
