    The MX series has seen a decline in recent years and I think that’s mainly down to the games having the same problems time and time again. MX vs ATV All Out is the new MX game in the market and whilst it does still have a few niggling problems I did notice some improvements and in the end it provided me with more enjoyment than frustration and hopefully they carry on getting more thingsThe MX series has seen a decline in recent years and I think that’s mainly down to the games having the same problems time and time again. Racing in the game feels great and most important of all it’s fun and exciting. They’ve managed to get most of the bike physics spot on and they’ve done a great job of giving the physics an arcade feel whilst also retaining a realistic edge to them as well. They don’t however get all the racing aspects correct and I especially found that to be the case when it came to the crashes and bike collisions. These aspects feel quite unrealistic and most of the time they just have an awkward side to them which can ruin the immersion levels somewhat. In terms of tracks the game has a decent amount for you to be getting on with and the best thing is that each track has quite a lot of variety and this definitely keeps things fresher for longer. I was also very impressed with the amount of customisation that’s present in the game and being able to give your bike some personal treatment is a nice touch because you can chop and change to your heart’s content. If you like game’s that offer you plenty of modes then this game has you covered. Unfortunately though not all of them are good and I especially found this to be the case when trying to play a game online. It took me a great deal of time to get a game online most of the time and when I did finally manage to get a game it became tedious quite quickly, which is a shame. The presentation side of the game ticked quite a few boxes for me and I found it to be pretty decent. Visually the game looks quite nice at times and there is plenty of detail in the environments. The sound design is also not bad either and it does more than enough to keep you satisfied, which is great. At the end of the day despite the technichal issues it suffers with now and again I actually found MX vs ATV All Out to be a pretty enjoyable affair. Don’t get me wrong it’s far from being perfect but I think this new addition to the MX series is a step in the right direction and if you’re a fan of the MX games then you will find more than enough here to scratch your itch.… Expand

    I just had to write a review considering the only user that was left here before. This game is just awful considering what it could have been. I have been a fan of these games since they were called ATV Off Road Fury on the PS2 and this just seems like a "how far they have fallen" moment for this series. I got the last game when it was really cheap on sale, and it wasn't that great, butI just had to write a review considering the only user that was left here before. I got the last game when it was really cheap on sale, and it wasn't that great, but this just feels almost insultingly bad for what is their only true current generation effort.

    To me the biggest issue is how dated everything feels. If this game was on the PS3 it would have been okay, if it was on the Vita I would have been impressed, if it was on the Switch I would consider this acceptable, but on the PS4 and Xbox One this game just looks ridiculously awful for what these consoles are capable of. The graphics look all low-res and grainy, giving off the kind of effects I have been used to with Vita games. As if that isn't bad enough, this game has some terrible frame rate to go with it.

    Then there is the level design, the 3 open environments feel uninspired and lacking in detail and the practice open environment is just tiny. The arenas are also very unimpressive with most of the locations looking very off and unrecognizable, and half the levels seem to be locked behind DLC I didn't want to pay for.

    As for the gameplay, it is dated. The controls feel stuck in the PS2 era as well as the physics. The racing is also a joke, with brain dead AI and the races in the open environments seem to have no flow to them with you just going from one random location to the other with no coherence or rhythm. Playing this game for more than an hour felt like a chore, and after checking out what this game to had to offer I felt like I had seen enough.    … Expand

    Enième épisode de la licence phare des mobylettes énervées et des quads de boloss, ce nouveau MX versus ATV All Out s'avère d'emblée comme le plus joli de la série, surtout qu'il est optimisé pour la Xbox One X : la résolution bien plus élevée et la qualité graphique améliorée sont très appréciables et proposent une lisibilité et un confort de jeu fort bienvenus.

    Il faut dire qu'il utilise l'Unreal 4 assez bien, ce qui reste encore rare de nos jours, étant donné la difficulté de ce moteur certes populaire mais trop souvent bien mal maîtrisé ou pas maîtrisé du tout, à part les grosses licences "first party" comme Gears 5 ou Crackdown 3 bien entendu.

    La maniabilité est en net progrès et la conduite se révèle bien plus précise qu'auparavant et un peu plus réaliste que les épisodes précédents... bref, ça commence à être vraiment jouable ce machin ! les quads restent nénamoins un peu trop nerveux mais on peut se taper toutes les épreuves en MX, heureusement.

    On regrettera les championnats (optionnels) de figures kikoolols qui consiste à faire le kakou sur la bécane, puis à s'écraser par terre ensuite, juste après parce que c'est trop mal fait, con, chiant, inintéressant et vraiment très con et trop kikoolol.

    On regrettera également les championnats "en salle" qui constituent une bonne partie du jeu et sont toujours aussi insupportables : des bosses, des sauts, des bosses, des sauts sur des tracés étriqués parmi une IA qui fait chier... bah franchement, ça fait chier, en plus de soûler direct.

    Des progrès sensibles donc mais toujours des problèmes pour une série qui se cherche entre l'arcade à kévins et un réalisme encore perfectible et quelques soucis d'équilibrage et de difficulté. Allez, on se sort les doigts et on y retourne... pour le prochain épisode, messieurs de chez Rainbow !    … Expand

    The game is good for those who are new to the series. But it's unfinished and the bikes just crap on themselves so they pretty much have absolutely no power

    Disappointing seeing how far this series has fallen from games like Alive and Reflex that came out 10+ years ago. Terrible frame rate on some tracks, graphics look less real and more “cartoony”,it constantly feels like you are riding on moon gravity, and the online mode on my Xbox has only worked once otherwise I get no connection, ps: it’s not my wifi I have no issues on any other game

    A small budget is not an excuse. Not only is MX vs ATV All Out an ugly game, it is crippled with bugs, its tracks are boring and the sensations non-existent.

    It's not a very polished game, and mechanically it's underwhelming. It's a shame, because there's plenty of content in the package, and throwing vehicles around bumpy dirt tracks should be a lot of fun. But it just isn't for the most part.

    MX vs ATV All Out is a technically sound, fun little racing game that does its name’s legacy proud. I understand if some feel the game’s a little too rooted in the past, as the bulk of the game does not innovate. Still, jetting around the open farmland is great, catching big air and doing a sick trick is fun, and crashing is hysterical even if it’s not supposed to be. I enjoyed revving the engine of MX vs ATV All Out, I just wish it performed like a new 2018 model instead of an older model with a new coat of paint.
