The goal in most of the More Dark levels is to clear the area by jumping on top of every escaped damned soul, which then allows for a gate to open to progress. But in some cases defeating every single enemy is not enough to open the exit gate, sometimes you have to solve the puzzle in order to exit. As you progress you will gain new abilities such as bombs, green balls of goo that can be used to jump higher, and power to reverse your gravity. As you gain new abilities the puzzles become more difficult because More Dark mixes the abilities with puzzles. Puzzles are not overly complex but still requires logical thinking to overcome. Biggest problem for me was the control, they are not difficult to get used to or hard to master but it is not as responsive as one would hope for. It's not great and it's not terrible. It's easy gamer score which Ratalaika is beloved with those looking to boost their score grab them all like Pokemon! In all seriousness it's ok and priced right which Ratalaika knows its business an it operates it impressively so. In the end if very low priced and even if a game isn't as great as we would hope it's hard to knock a Xbox game for me personally, that costs less than what I use to rent a video game for.… Expand

There are 60 levels to complete and throughout this you will gain new abilities such as Bombs to blow up areas, green blob that allows you to jump higher, a magnet that    Highly Addictive Game!

    There are 60 levels to complete and throughout this you will gain new abilities such as Bombs to blow up areas, green blob that allows you to jump higher, a magnet that allows you to walk upside down and so on. Each of these abilities will help you progress further in the game as each level has a puzzle type feel that you must figure out to complete it.

    Some levels contain only one convict and one you recapture him the door will open to the next level. Sounds easy? well some areas are but some can be a little tricky like recapturing two to three convicts from the ground and then trying to figure out how to get back up to the top area where the door is located at.

    The game also throws in some boss battles and little bonus stages which is a nice touch. With this and its old skool retro soundtrack and sounds makes it a good old fashioned puzzle game with some twists.

    Overall I had a blast playing this game and it was hard to put down.    … Expand

    What can I say about this title from Ratalaika Games… it’s surprisingly addictive and we all know Ratalaika knows their audience. So for a group of hardcore people this is a must game for them. Control mechanics are nicely implemented and the puzzles are well thought out – there are doorways which switch you to the other side of the room. The downside to some of the puzzles is if you misplace a barrel next to another one with no gap you can’t move them. So you will need to press that handy Y button to kill yourself.

    If you want an easy 1000 Gamerscore and you have an hour or two to kill, then More Dark on Xbox might be a game worth picking up. It’s nothing special but it’s not an entirely miserable experience. Everything works fine, and at this point in time that’s more than can be said for some triple-A games.
