In my opinion Milestone has done well with their games in this genre. Thankfully Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame holds up and I feel this may be Milestone’s best motocross game yet. When it comes to the gameplay this game tries to create a very realistic experience and without a doubt they succeed in creating this experience because everything feels smooth and responsive throughout. In terms of content the game has more than enough to keep you occupied for quite a while. Each mode has had a lot of effort put into it and this makes the racing a very enjoyable and interesting affair. The only problematic mode so to speak is when the game was played online. I suffered with a few problems when playing this way, but it’s early days here so I’m prepared to wait and see how things develop in the coming weeks. What the game does really well is that it allows you a great deal of freedom and you can chop and change things to your heart’s content. There are an abundance of customisation options for you to get to grips with and plenty of unlockables for you to unlock along the way, which is great. Without a doubt my favourite thing about the game was the track editor. The track editor works really well and you can create a number of different tracks, which is both fun and also makes the game have a lot of replayability. This game doesn’t suffer with many problems but I would like to see them bring out a patch to sort out the framerate issues because this does make the game become frustrating from time to time. The presentation side of the game on the whole exceeded my expectations. Visually the game can look awesome at times and the sound design does a great job of creating an immersive and realistic experience. At the end of the day I think Milestone have done a very good job here and in my opinion I can only see this game growing over time, which is what I’ve always wanted in a motocross game. They’ve managed to keep the problems to a minimum and most important of all they’ve made things feel as realistic and fun as possible. If you’re a fan of these types of games then you will thoroughly enjoy your time with Monster Energy Supercross and if you’ve never played a game like this before then there is no better place to start. Motocross games don't get much better than this, probably a little too forgiving on physics but way better than MX ATV...

Overall its the best in its Genre to date. That being said it still doesnt hold up to the best in class , microsoft's motocross madness,.. The physics are pretty good overall , still lacking in certain areas , but overall it has a good feel. If this game was dedicated to outdoor nationals , I feel would have been a much better game. Lacks any particles , no mud or dirt flying , no ruts.

Monster Energy Supercross is a solid first entry in the series. The jumps feel somewhat realistic, and while the rider movement still isn't quite to the natural level I'd like to see and the AI difficulty still isn't much of a challenge, it's a fun game to play for Supercross fans. However, the career mode needs a huge overhaul in the next installment for this series to have any longevity.

If you've played any MXGP game or other Monster Energy supercross, you've played this. Not that that's a bad thing, but I guess apart from a different roster (I honestly wouldn't notice, I just enjoy racing games, I no nothing of the actual "sport") it's the same game. The reason this get's a slightly lower score than usual is for 2 reasons:
1, HORRENDOUS LOADING TIMES. Seriously it takes

The reason this get's a slightly lower score than usual is for 2 reasons:
1, HORRENDOUS LOADING TIMES. Seriously it takes a good 2-3 minutes to load 1 track, Forza Horizon can load a whole world in the same time and then that's it. This has the load screen everytime you do a race, even if you're restarting a race, it has to load the same track again... What the **** takes so long, seriously it's dreadful.
2, It has a very dumb grinding glitch, where you don't have to race most or even any races if you don't want. If you start and press "retire from race" you still get points for finishing and you will more than likely still come 1st, even on the higher difficulties. Now I had played through most of both 250 careers before I noticed this, so I still played a good portion of the game, but after you work that exploit out, you're going to use it aren't you!?
If you don't mind being able to read a short novel in the loading times and just want to play a game that's the same as any one of these games, then go for it.

Monster Energy Supercross - The official video game is a speed title with many game modes but with important technical deficiencies.

Once you get past the steep learning curve in Monster Energy Supercross, you'll find a challenging and fun to play game. The game has solid gameplay, but unfortunately there are quite a few bugs and visual glitches affecting the game.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame certainly captures the atmosphere and the essence of the high-adrenaline sport. The arenas are well-crafted reproductions of their real-life counterparts, and out on the track, the bikes and riders look decent. It gets slowed by jarring moments such as strangely routine lag or sometimes frustrating handling and physics. There is a feeling of the game being not quite finished, with a little polishing still needed in places. That all said, when it works, it works well and there is plenty of content to keep players entertained, especially with the advent of community created tracks. In short, it feels one patch shy of being a great racing title.
