    not really a fan of this series at all but i own it on xbox digital though and havent played through lots of it yet but so far im not impressed at what ive seen so far so yeah ill change my review when i get around to playing through to the end for now its not looking good from my persepective

    - The amount of content in the game is pleasantly surprising for a shooter.

    - The stealth in the game is inventive. There are many different approaches which can be taken in assaulting an area. from guns blazing, to non-fatal, to extracting everyone and everything.

    - The story is a continuation from Ground Zeroes and the previous Metal Gear games. It adds depth to already established characters such as Ocelot and Liquid Snake.

    - The FOB multiplayer implemented is surprisingly good. For a campaign focused single-player game, the FOB Assault multiplayer is impressive. It uses soldiers and defenses you've captured / researched from singleplayer and implements a style similar to the game 'Meet Your Maker'.

    - It feels like it does a good job of encapsulating major concerns during the cold war without being overly political. From nuclear threats, to chemical warfare, to mercenaries in Africa, to technological warfare.

    Cons:

    The ending did feel sudden and unfinished, mainly (from what i've heard) because it was. The plan was to have another mission which resolved the Eli / Pyscho Mantis arc but unfortunately this was not finalised.    … Expand

    Muy buen juego lo empece jugando en un ps4 y lo termine desde un series s alrededor de unas 200 horas de juego, no es un juego para todos los públicos la verdad toca probarlo y ver si te atrapa ya que tiene un gameplay muy muy detallado y lleno de mecánicas que capaz para uno que otro no se fácil de digerir, si jugaste algún otro Metal Gear Solid y te gustó    (2023/05) (Español/English)
    Muy buen juego lo empece jugando en un ps4 y lo termine desde un series s alrededor de unas 200 horas de juego, no es un juego para todos los públicos la verdad toca probarlo y ver si te atrapa ya que tiene un gameplay muy muy detallado y lleno de mecánicas que capaz para uno que otro no se fácil de digerir, si jugaste algún otro Metal Gear Solid y te gustó déjame decirte que este lo vas amar es el último juego de la saga y la verdad fue hecho con bastante mimo(Amor), Está repleto de personajes increíbles, guiños increíbles, una historia increíble básicamente increíble en todos los sentidos , lo único que no me terminó de agradar del juego es que las misiones después de un tiempo llegan a ser bastante repetitivas cosa que no pasaba en el resto de juegos de la saga por qué eran lineales y los juegos anteriores no eran tan largos, realmente este juego está hecho para los fan de la saga y te recomendaría que si es la primera vez que vas a jugar un Metal Gear Solid empezarás por algún otro te recomendaría el 3 o el 1.

    It's a very good game I was played in Xbox Series S for like a 150 hours, No it's a game for all the publics the best option is to try the game and if you enjoy the game fine because the game have a very detail mecanics of gameplay and maybe no it's for all the publics, if you was played another game of the Metal Gear Solid saga and you liked it that game it's perfect for you, it's the last game of the saga and the game was maked with love, Perfect characters, Perfect Mechanics of gameplay , Perfect Story and basically Perfect but there is one thing i didn't like missions can become repetitive, This game is really made for fans of the saga and I would recommend that if it is the first time you are going to play a Metal Gear Solid you start with someone else I would recommend 3 or 1.

    MGS V has everything an action stealth game needs. It's like playing a good political thriller. Kojima was the beating heart of Konami. Overall rating: 9.0.

    I got this game because I hugely enjoyed the previous entry (which was more of a preview) and acquired the taste. As a long time gamer, MGS5 will turn out much much much much more than you would expect and what you're to experience here can only be described as epic.

    Easily the best action game I have ever played. This world is so rich and missions have so many variations, I could play it for a month at least. MGS5 truly deserves the high rating it has.

    Hideo Kojima outdid himself with this one. A perfect game!!!

    Can't wait for his next. I am now a big fan.

    This game is arguably one of the greatest video games of all time. The fox engine made the game look beautiful, and the new mechanics made everything so much smoother and more fun to play. The open world was a great idea for a game like this. There are many places to infiltrate with different sizes and area types (camps, oil refineries, fortresses, other player's bases, etc). Stealthy, guns blazing, air strikes then move in, basically anything you can think of. the mother base building mechanic is really well made, and the same goes with the FOB invasions, where you can attack a base belonging to another player, or defend yours. The online game mode is really well designed, and is really fun to play. This game may have not been fully completed, but it is still a great game for me.… Expand

    The game is sooo long and it is something enjoyable, only if there were more missions and more maps or expansions, it would be better so that it can be enjoyed forever, besides being the last game where Kojima worked since Konami fired him. But I have loved this game since I first played it.

    Best stealth game ever. The game gives you so many possibilities how to clear outposts, different ways to deal with enemies and their technics. A lot of weapons and instruments. At someday enemies start to adapt to your style, so you start looking for more ways of taking them down.     As it is a MGS game, there is great stealth, but you don't have to play it stealthy.     This game is the best,I mean the stealth system and the story despite being nearly unfinished and the combat for me makes snake aggressive,if I play this game on my ps3 or xbox 369 I would feel better with both stealth and combat games

    I have played this over 300 hours but yet I wouldn't play another 300 hours of this game. Each episode is so fun and tense. Truly a master piece!

    That intro, is soo gooooooooooddddd, that it practicaly carries the entire game.

    The gameplay is just perfect, there are soo many possibilities and ways to play, yo wanna go straight ahead, go. You wanna go stealth, go. You wanna grab a tank, and kill everyone, do it.

    The only thing is the story, but because is skippable, i dont find it a big issue.

    el gameplay es el rey definitivo, libertad para abordar cualquier misión como sea que se te ocurra. Problemas? los hay claro la narrativa es muy simple comparado con las anteriores pero es completamente disfrutable.

Este juego me gusto y esta muy bueno pero la historia al estar inconclusa perdio mucho potencial ya que despues de pasarmelo 2 veces y desbloquear la "ultima mision" es obvio que falta la verdadera conclusion pero debemos conformarnos con un juego sin final :(
    En gameplay y rejugabilidad si esta bien y me gustaron las mecanicas ya que los unicos metal gear que jugue fueron este el rising y el peace walker y megusto la evolucion que tuvo en terminos de movimiento le pondria un 8 o 9 si fuera un juego completo pero desgraciadamente solo nos queda como continuacion el survive y no gracias    … Expand

    Well the story is not what I expect. I expect it to be filled with great plot twist and a lot of dialogue but there is none of it in this game. So if the story is not good, is the gameplay good? Hell yeah it is. Though out my playthrough to the game, I never had so much freedom to do in order to complete my mission. There are numerous things that you do which is not limited.     Kojima managed to create the perfect open-world stealth game, giving the player an incredible freedom coupled with great depth and variety. MGS fans will probably dislike its sparse and somewhat unsatisfying storytelling, but it undoubtedly is a masterwork of game design.
