    Merchant of the Skies does what it does pretty well, however it doesn’t quite do enough for the experience to be classed as a great game. Acquiring resources on the cheap and selling them for a profit is a simple, yet addictive, gameplay mechanic that will draw you in. Sure it gets a tad more complex - and difficult - as you grow, with additional management elements coming into play, but there’s not much else in its locker.

    Merchant of the skies is a fun game to pass the time. It's a simple explore and trade game. The goal is to trade items in order to grow yourMerchant of the skies is a fun game to pass the time. It's a simple explore and trade game. The goal is to trade items in order to grow your ships and merchants guild. The objectives are fun and simple to achieve. But each time you set off to explore you have to plan your next destination or risk running out or energy and getting sent back. The graphics arent too bad for the simple style they go for. It's kind of grindy given how you start out with nothing and you have to find places to make money which isnt quick to see. I dont really feel the game is worth it though. It's very basic and it doesn't have much to offer even if it came with DLCs. I find the controls were easy but keeping track of the energy and the crew costs should be displayed so you can properly plan things going on. The music is pretty calm and comforting. I wish this game had more to offer but all in all wasnt a bad game and is fun to pass time.… Full Review »
