    I enjoy the story and gameplay of each MegaMan x game so far. I would recommend getting this collection if you haven't played the series or if you are a fan of the series.

    El único inconveniente que tengo aquí es que la intro de x6 es diferente a la de ps1 y la actual no me gusta, el resto me parece perfecto y nada de problemas de rendimiento.

    The Mega Man series doesn’t get near the credit it deserves and it’s often forgotten when it comes to the gaming worlds other memorable characters. For me Mega Man should be right up there with the Mario’s and Sonic’s of the gaming world because as far as the series goes it’s just as important as the Sonic and Mario game’s. The Mega Man game’s have brought me a lot of joy over the year’sThe Mega Man series doesn’t get near the credit it deserves and it’s often forgotten when it comes to the gaming worlds other memorable characters. For me Mega Man should be right up there with the Mario’s and Sonic’s of the gaming world because as far as the series goes it’s just as important as the Sonic and Mario game’s. The Mega Man game’s have brought me a lot of joy over the year’s so as you can imagine I was chomping at the bit to try out Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2. Thankfully as far as retro gaming collections go this is an absolute masterpiece and without a doubt I can see myself revisiting this collection time and time again. There were lots of things that really impressed with this collection of game’s but the one aspect that really stands out were the controls that have been implemented. Each game plays and handles like a dream and that’s mainly because the controls in each game perform like a dream, remaining tight and responsive throughout your time with each game. These fantastic controls then make this game perfect for both veterans and newcomers and trust me there’s a game everybody will like in this collection. In terms of content there is a great deal for you to get to grips with and this collection of game’s will keep you satisfied for ages and without a doubt it will keep you coming back for more time and time again. In terms of problems the game doesn’t have many. In fact the only real problem I came across was a few technichal issues here and there, but these issues weren’t really much of a problem and I was quite easily able to look past these issues because they didn’t occur very often. Whilst there might be a few noticeable items missing from the collection I would’ve liked seen included there still is a few nice additions available to you. My favourite addition was without a doubt the gallery. The gallery allows you to look at the history of the game’s and there is lots of beautiful art included as well which definitely showed me that a lot of thought and effort has gone into the collection. Another area where you can tell that a lot of thought and effort has gone in is the presentation side of things. Both the visuals and sound design have a true nostalgic feel to them but at the same time they also have a modern feel to them as well which definitely makes the different game’s come alive quite considerably. At the end of the day Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 is absolutely brilliant and if you even only have a slight interest in Mega Man then I thoroughly recommend that you get this collection. In fact even if you’ve never played Mega Man before I still would recommend this collection to you because it really is that good.… Expand

    A great collection, but, the first 3 games with lag, FPS Falls, badly optimized, after X4 greatly improves the optimization, a game recommended and especially a childhood game of many, recommended .

    It's probably the worst treatment the X series had.
    This Collection has the 8 Mega Man X games, COLLAPSED INTO 2 DISCS. WHY CAPCOM? WHY AREN'T THEY IN A SINGLE GAME? And the emulation... is the worst. Mega Man X, X2 and X3 have probably the WORST input lag I've ever seen in a game, and not to mention, the version of Mega Man X3 they included, is the SNES version and    This collection SUCKS.

    Mega Man X, X2 and X3 have probably the WORST input lag I've ever seen in a game, and not to mention, the version of Mega Man X3 they included, is the SNES version and not the PSX... why?
    Mega Man X4, X5 and X6 have some sounds slightly changed... some sounds are in bad quality and others are just different. This also happens with the music, in X6 for the intro stage theme, they stick with the beta version of the song (the one that doesn't have guitars)
    X7 and X8 are the only titles that run great...
    Localization: You can play the japanese versions of these games if you want, but forget about WATCHING THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE OPENINGS/ENDINGS for Mega Man X4 to X8, is this a joke? What's the point on having the option to play the Japanese version when it doesn't have its features?
    The X Challenge is lame, repetitive and unfair.
    This Collection has "The Day of Sigma" and it doesn't even have Maverick Hunter X on it! What's the point on including content from a game that isn't included?
    Overall, these two are the worst Mega Man collections...

    Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 offers a great blast from the past, complete with new and upgraded features as well as some additional extras, such as the history-rich museum mode, added modifiers and more. The gameplay is solid and is still as hard as ever, offering a real old-school and varying challenge, if you so choose it.

    As sparse as the extra options are as well as the inclusion of a couple of legitimately awful titles, both of the Mega Man X Legacy Collections pay adequate tribute to one of the premiere 2D action franchises of all-time, which itself spun off a legendary franchise. One can only hope that Capcom will continue to give the Blue Bomber and his distant predecessor more love, both with additional updates to the existing collection as well as some long overdue sequels.

    The two installments of of Megaman X Legacy Collection are gonna please diehard fans, and earn some new fans as well, with a more modern look. The question is why did capcom release them separately?
