    The game is pretty good. I enjoy the story and gameplay. I would recommend getting this game

    I finished playing Mega Man 11 last month and here's what I think:
    Stage design: Brilliant, balances and allows perfect use for the new double gear system. I've played these stages several times and I never got bored of them.
    Music: The music is a small downgrade from the usual catchy songs that I heard from past games. However, this doesn't mean that it's horrible. Bosses: As seen in    I finished playing Mega Man 11 last month and here's what I think:

    Bosses: As seen in other Mega Man games, bosses provide a bit of a challenge at the end of each stage. In this game, the bosses also have your double gear technique, which makes them unique.

    I found the level design in the game to be absolutely fantastic because there’s a ton of variety present throughout each level which in turn keeps things fun at all times. Technically the game holds up really well throughout your time with the game and I was really impressed with the controls that have been implemented. The presentation side of the game has been done to perfection and Mega Man has never looked and sounded better than it does here. There are lots of different weapons and upgrades for you to get to grips with and the best thing is that each weapon and upgrade plays its part and feels important. Each enemy in the game represents a different challenge and the boss battles feel exhilarating from start to finish. In terms of content there isn’t a huge amount for you to get to grips which means I feel the game is slightly overpriced. You have to stop and have a breather every now and then because the high difficulty can be a little frustrating. Mega Man has a place in a lot of people’s heart’s and I’m one of those people so to say I was eager to get to grips with Mega Man 11 would be a massive understatement. Thankfully it didn’t disappoint either and in a way I think it will garner more fans because whilst it’s still retro to the core it does also have a modern feel to it as well. This modern feeling is felt through both the controls and presentation side of the game and when they combine together you have an incredible amount of fun. In fact you have that much fun that it makes it easier to carry on even if you come across some frustrating moments, which you will no doubt experience along the way. Thankfully these frustrating moments aren’t too profound though because defeating the various enemies never gets boring thanks to the many upgrades and weapons you can use against them. At the end of the day then Mega Man 11 has reached my lofty expectations and then some, and whilst I feel it may be a little overpriced I still recommend that you get the game because it does the Mega Man franchise justice and fans of the franchise will thoroughly enjoy what the game has to offer.… Expand

    It's pretty good! Great sound and the were able to capture the style of the predecessors. The Main-Game is a little bit short but with the different difficulties and a lot of bonus material you can get more out of it if you like.

    I have very, very mixed feelings about Mega Man 11. On one hand, fans of the original games will have tons of fun and will have a blast with the latest release in the franchise. On the other, however, the game does nothing to adapt to modern times. The artificial difficulty (pixel-perfect platforming, poor mobility) in this game feels just like that of the classic MM games. I LOVEI have very, very mixed feelings about Mega Man 11. On one hand, fans of the original games will have tons of fun and will have a blast with the latest release in the franchise. On the other, however, the game does nothing to adapt to modern times. The artificial difficulty (pixel-perfect platforming, poor mobility) in this game feels just like that of the classic MM games. I LOVE difficult games, but this just feels like a shiny new coat put on an NES game. Although the skill floor is pretty high, the skill ceiling is much higher, and the game appears to be really well optimized for speedrunners and hardcore fans of the franchise. I wish I liked this game a lot more than I did because it seems like the type of game I would fall in love with, but it did little to impress me and a lot to frustrate me. Mega Man 11 is not for newcomers to the franchise, but for those who loved the classic Mega Man formula, this game will be as blast.… Expand

    Graphics-wise it looks nice, but some things could have been worked on better, like Mega Man's stair animation. I am actually glad the game went for a new graphical choice because unlike Mega Man 9 (that attracted mostly nostalgia suckers that cared more about style than substance), it actually wasn't a bad choice. The music was fine, I guess? Most of them are pretty well composed, butGraphics-wise it looks nice, but some things could have been worked on better, like Mega Man's stair animation. I am actually glad the game went for a new graphical choice because unlike Mega Man 9 (that attracted mostly nostalgia suckers that cared more about style than substance), it actually wasn't a bad choice. The music was fine, I guess? Most of them are pretty well composed, but they all suffer from the not-so-good lack of variety -- as in they're all too similar because of the not-at-all different instruments. The only theme that fits in the game that isn't unfitting to have the boring synths is Acid Man's theme and no other stage. Gameplay-wise it feels like a normal Mega Man game, but it feels stiff at times. I wasn't particularly a fan of the Double Gear system. I was glad that there was no forced Gear usage, otherwise, I wouldn't be very happy.

    Bosses are all pretty neat, but some of them needed some re-work. Torch Man, for instance, is irritating Buster-Only, while Bounce Man is easily the easiest one. Although I like the addition of mini-bosses to every stage, I feel like the very fact of every single stage having a mini-boss kinda makes the whole charm of "having a mini-boss" go away, unlike in previous installments. Story-wise it's alright -- it's the simple old Mega Man story that almost only exists to get you to a new stage. The game is hella creative, but I feel like most of the creativity was spent towards gimmicks and not in the polishment of the level design that is, honestly, meh. The re-use of the Yellow Devil is pretty lazy: Devils are nice, but there is a point in which just re-using a Devil is just not good. Final boss-wise, this was underwhelming. The new stun mechanic that the Charged Shot has is interesting, but it really does not feels justified since we barely even use it and it's not even taught to the player. Just like Mega Man 7, the Wily Machine and Capsule are more boring than hard, and just leave me thinking about what has gone wrong.

    So yeah, overall this game just exists. Not bad, but not as good as everyone hyped.    … Expand

That just doesn't make any sense, so why didn't they go all out on one of their most beloved game series sequel?! After 25 hours of play time I'm done. This could have been so much better.

    Controls could be a lot better. Sometimes mega man just won't stop running and I end up falling in to a pit or hit an enemy. Slide and jump won't always activate for no apparent reason. There isn't any input lag tho thank god.

    All levels are too long. Block man level is nearly impossible since there is a spot where you will get stuck on environment 9 out of 10 times. This is clearly a bug. Bounce man level is just stupid and very badly designed. Jump mechanics in that level are also pain in the ass. You can use rush coil to get past most of the sh'tty parts there but that just renders all that work put in the design of the level completely redundant. Boss fights are super fun tho. Every boss has different easy to learn pattern like in the good all days of NES era. They are never cheap and if you die, you die 'cause you suck. So get good. No bullsh't there. The gear system that lets you slow time or shoot more powerful shots is a very good new mechanic but sometimes it makes things a bit too easy in some levels and especially in the boss fights.

    Why they went with this art style is beyond me. This game looks like those Sh'tty freeware games from early 2000's. I would have preferred pixel art instead. You can create so pretty pixel art these days. Most of the difficulty people are experiencing comes from bad controls. When I played Mega Man X last month from the legacy collection, after about 2,5 hours in, I knew exactly how X is going to control in any given moment. Here I still don't know if I can make a jump or not. Controls are very weird and floaty.

    With a stunning visual upgrade brought in, a suitable soundtrack accompanying events and some fluid controls ensuring players are constantly able to keep up with the action, Mega Man 11 is one of the best titles in the series – although the incredible difficulty won’t be something that all will enjoy.

    Mega Man 11 proves that the Blue Bomber hasn’t lost his touch, and that the games can still prove entertaining even during a time where there is no shortage of 2D successors. We can only hope that it won’t take nearly as long for future entries, including a hopeful return of Mega Man X.
