Sep 10, 2023Great game has the same art style as rad Rodgers and it takes Two I can't see any difference with 360 and xb1 versions oh and I'm still stuck at the collapsed tree section

Nov 4, 2021It's amaizing. The concept of modifying the environment is mind blowing. It was so interesting to try different shapes. I cannot recommend this enough.

May 9, 2020I have played this game on Xbox One S as part of game pass subscription. In 2020 the game pass version does not have any glitch, whatsoever. The game is very fun, small and needs you to be creative. It reminds me so much of Heart of Darkness. I believe that their is a nice balance between puzzle solving and platforming. I am totally recommending it.

Jun 19, 2019Honestly, I finish this game a long time ago, and I don't have my game analysis paper with me right now, but i remember the puzzles, you haven't seen anything like it before. they are challenging
I give this game a score of 8 out of 10 -
Oct 21, 2017O jogo é legal, mas os puzzles que deram uma ' graça ' a mais ao game . .

Jul 6, 2017Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is not a game that should be dismissed based on the belief that it is a child's game. The game is actually quite difficult and a lot of fun. Definitely a cheap but fair game.

Jan 12, 2016My 5 year old loved this game so much. It's a simple, but progressing side-scrolling game. It gets pretty exciting at times and slower with more logic at other times. If you have any kids 5-10, I highly recommend it.

Nov 15, 2015Very nice, inexpensive, addictive on some point, old school platform game. Simple, however enough challenging to keep my family entertained. Max’s adventures are great and enjoyable. The idea of using pencil is smart and funny. Slow motion moments when you have only seconds for making decisions are fantastic. Shame it is so short (4-5 hours).

Jul 10, 2015The last platformer I played was Mario, a really long time ago; wasn't a huge fan then, still not. That said, for what it is,it is done well and with a ton of charm.
I still think 2D screen scrollers should have been left in the 90's :P -

Nov 23, 2014An around the board, consistently fun game. Not revolutionary in gameplay, graphics or even story for that matter, but for a small price, I do believe you get a genuine bang for your buck. Finished it to completion and was content with it, more then what I can say for countless others. For an indie, I do rate this 8/10

Nov 16, 2014Can't understand why this game is under a score of 9.
It's a platform/puzzle without deficiencies/problem.
It's perfect for it's genre. Funny and smart.
For me it's a 10.
Well done Press Play! -
Nov 7, 2014I got it for free with my brand new xbox one, and i launched it without any expectations at all... but what a good surprise, limbo like, great graphism , gameplay , bit of puzzle .. nice and funny story ... very good exclusive game for the xbox one.

Oct 27, 2014Love this game and it's the game i played for 1st xbox one with 1000G (Xbox one released at 2014/9/23 at Hong Kong). The graphic is awesome and the creativity is great for a 2.5D action game.

Oct 25, 2014Actually really fun game. played hours and time just flew.Really good graphics. a little hard to play with the marker. but overall was great fun and a good purchase

Sep 11, 2014Fabulous Game, a must buy. Press Play Games have brought a great little 2D puzzle platformer to the Xbox One. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this one from start to finish.

Aug 8, 2014Max is a very fun but frustrating game. The game revolves around a young boy trying to save his brother. Max: Curse of Brotherhood is more difficult than it may look. Do not let the boy on the cover fool you, it may look like a childish game, but to the older generation, it will be difficult.

Sep 29, 2014Max: Curse of the Brotherhood is overall a pretty good game, with some fantastic puzzle mechanics and a nice adventure feeling. Unfortunately the game is too basic for its own best, and the moments you will remember are few.
-
May 12, 2014It’s not as fascinating as the touch (or gesture) based predecessor, but it is an interesting mixture of platforming and physics based puzzles nonetheless.
-
Apr 13, 2014Max The Curse of Brotherhood is a fun and challenging 2.5D platformer that will be able to keep you attached to the pad for its entire duration, despite too many bugs and an unstable framerate.
