Aug 24, 2021Same recycled garbage as mafia II definitive. Basically game runs smooth for about 10 minutes then shuts down. One of only 3 games I've had this issue with, the other two being mafia 2 definitive and LA Noire. At least with the last two it takes hours before it shuts down. Don't believe anyone giving this game above a 4 rating. It's broken to the point of unplayable.

Jul 7, 2020Mafia III may still have a ridiculous amount of glitches yet its plot is fantastically gripping from start to finish. So, if you enjoy character-driven stories set in open worlds then you'll be impressed with what it has to offer.

Jun 28, 2020Mafia III: Definitive Edition on Xbox One has distinct charm in its narrative, world-building and conceptualised understanding of socio-politics and the military-industrial complex but, ironically enough, it fails in its combat and general movement. Whilst it is clear a great deal of care has gone into its writing, I wish I could say the same for its gameplay.

May 29, 2020While not anywhere near as glitch ridden as the Mafia II remaster, Mafia III: Definitive Edition adds nothing more than the previously released DLC along with the very strange removal of Xbox One X support that was added to the original release after launch. Lincoln Clay's story is well worth experiencing a first time, but there is no real reason to venture back to New Bordeaux with this latest release as part of the Mafia Trilogy.
