    Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey on Xbox One is a charming little platformer that will have you scratching your head at times. You’ll most likely clear it in a few short hours, but it’s fun whilst it lasts.

Climb, jump, and gnaw your way under the ground in Macrotis: A Mother's Journey, a 2.5D puzzle-platformer. Solve challenging puzzles by interacting with the beautiful yet dangerous world, All the while avoiding deadly traps that could end the adventure immediately. A great variety of natural and supernatural abilities will aid you on your emotive trip. Will you be able to help the desperate Mother find and rescue her cute little children? There are four chapters to play through, each with a different setting bringing new dangers and puzzles to solve. There are also some really fun rail style puzzles to beat. One such example is centred on Bilby waiting on a platform which is rising in line with the water level, while on the other side her spirit form races to open barriers and clear hurdles before she meets an untimely end. Although I think this would be a fun game for our little friends yet could be quite boring if you are over some certain age, yet I would recommend this one because I can really see the effort in the game.… Full Review »
