    Levelhead is one of the best platformers so far this year. If Butterscotch Shenanigans fixes some annoying issues that I had with the level editor then I'd consider it golden. Also, I wish there were a few more features like extra power-ups, backdrops, and a world maker with multiple levels but it's still an incredible game and I highly recommend it.

    Levelhead on Xbox One offers a surprisingly deep platformer experience wrapped up in a comedic package. Its jokes don’t always land but its tone and style are solid throughout. For those without a Nintendo Switch, it offers a very tempting similarity to Super Mario Maker, but is still interesting enough to stand out without the comparison.

    Not only are there some well designed and challenging campaign levels on offer, but Levelhead dares you to come up with your own too. A powerful, intuitive editor makes it pretty effortless to get started, and really the sky is the limit for your imagination.

You play as a GR-18 Delivery Robot from the Bureau of Delivery.Levelhead is a DIY 2D Platformer Maker with a Plaforming Campaign. You play as a GR-18 Delivery Robot from the Bureau of Delivery. Unfortunately a New GR-18 isn't smart, and needs to be put through rigorous training routines. That's where your level engineering comes into play. Playing through the entire campaign will unlock everything in the level editor. The Level Editor is the heart of the game. And using the marketplace its easy to get your stages out there and played by other people! The Best levels make it to the tower, and are added to an ever changing list of stages. Getting your stage in the tower is the highest of honors! The level Editor is thoroughly comprehensive, allowing for the creation of nearly any stage you can imagine. With a plethora of switches, gates, gadgets, and enemies, recreate favorite levels or create unique designs to your hearts content. There are only four backdrops unfortunately, but five background music bits for each. You also have a weather option, but is purely aesthetic. Levelhead is an incredibly fun game for those with a creativity bug, and can be an enjoyable platformer with an endless amount of levels for those not interested in creating them. The user levels provide endless content for the game and there are already so many amazing levels to enjoy early on.… Full Review »
