Hover is a great game if all you want to do is chill out and relax. The main, central district can be explored for hours and you still won’t discover everything, and if you play it online there is a great community to play and compete with. If you want to focus on the story though, it loses its charm as you suffer through repetitive looking areas and missions that bog down the whole experience.

If you're a fan of having good times while hanging out with and challenging virtual online pals then Hover is a must-buy game.

The gameplay is a huge amount of fun and very addictive and traversing never gets boring or frustrating thanks to the very good controls. EvenThe gameplay is a huge amount of fun and very addictive and traversing never gets boring or frustrating thanks to the very good controls. Even though it isn’t the best looking or sounding game in the world I still enjoyed the presentation side of things because it’s packed full of charm. There is variety dotted throughout the game and that’s especially the case when it comes to the game’s missions which are both fun and challenging. In terms of content the game has a decent amount for you to get to grips with and if you like Jet Set Radio then this game will satisfy you for ages. Playing the game in multiplayer makes the game even more fun and it also gives the game even more in terms of replaybility. Every now and then I bumped into a few technichal issues which did cause me to experience a few frustrating moments. It can be a little daunting at first and that’s mainly because the map in the game is pretty useless. The tutorial wasn’t very good at explaining certain elements of the game. Jet Set Radio is legendary in my opinion and back in the day it delivered so much enjoyment that I can’t recall just how many hours I put into it. All I know is that it was a lot and anything that is remotely like Jet Set Radio gets my attention immediately. Hover is a game that’s cut from the same cloth as Jet Set Radio but it isn’t a carbon copy because it features its own unique and intricate elements. These elements make the game a very fun and enjoyable experience and they also make the game very addictive as well. Being addictive to the game isn’t a problem either because the game has a decent amount of content for you to get to grips with and there’s a great deal of variety dotted throughout the content. In terms of problems the game doesn’t have too many and the problems it does have like the tutorial and technical issues were very easy to look past. This then means that I can’t recommend Hover enough because it features a style I love and it gets the most important aspects of a game of this ilk spot on. Full Review »
