    House Flipper - The PC hit game has made it's way to Xbox and does not disappoint. Starting out as just a handyman working out of a run down shed with a small amount of investment money to your name, you will need to work to earn your money in this renovation sim. Buying your first house is supposed to be a thrill, but when that house costs $30,000 and is described as abandoned you know it's a rough ride. With the tools of your trade, from a brush to a sledgehammer, and a wide array of decorating materials and appliances to choose from, can you turn these fix em up homes into a dream home and become the ultimate House Flipper? While there is not much to dislike about this gem of a game, I will say I found that placing items can sometimes feel quite clunky and sometimes need another attempt to place correctly. Then when picking up objects, you see yourself as a set of arms, when you lift anything you just see 2 arms holding up thin air, I personally felt that was a slight let down. I highly reccomend this game, great time killer and very detailed, and with DLC being available on PC I expect it will also make it's way to Xbox soon.… Expand

    I really liked this game. I have spent many hours on it. Even my girlfriend who never plays video games got addicted

    Encore l’un de ces jeux bizarres où l’on fait la femme de ménage… (mais sans DSK…). Cela pourrait être aussi l’homme de ménage, l’homme à tout faire, le larbin de service puisqu’ici on va nettoyer la merde chez les gens et/ou on repeint, on rénove des baraques à la con, puis on les revend éventuellement…

    L’interface (sur console) n’est pas si mal faite en soi et bien qu’assez sommaires, les graphismes font assez largement le boulot (désactivez la limite d’ips dans les options pour avoir accès aux 60 im/s sur SX) ; je suppose que même sur les PS4One, ça doit tourner puisqu’on peut choisir la résolution (du 1080 jusqu’au… 1800 seulement -étrange !).

    Un mode ‘facile’ est disponible pour le démontage et l’installation du mobilier et globalement, tout fonctionne plutôt bien pour bricoler, nettoyer, ranger, poser de nouveaux meubles etc, etc…

    Mais…! comme dans tous les « jeux » de ce genre-là, on s’y ennuie bien vite, car rien n’est plus emmerdant que de bricoler comme un connard et/ou comme tous les connards qui bricolent comme des cons le week end et les jours fériés. Je me suis arrêté à la mission où il fallait repeindre les murs en rose amarante et gris… ça m’a tellement fait chier que j’ai repeint tout en marron. Couleur unique.    … Expand

    More so than any other game I’ve reviewed, House Flipper is going to be what you make of it. In a lot of ways, it’s rough. The graphics are subpar, the sound is about as basic as it gets, and the performance issues at times get so bad you’ll wonder how this ever made it through quality assurance. But there’s an undeniable charm to the game. Flipping a house for profit after working your way through the entire space ended up being as satisfying as I hoped it would be. The fact that the game doesn’t ask for you to have any prior knowledge of anything is a big bonus in my book, too. If you want to turn your brain off, and flip houses, I think you’ll like this. If you want something exciting in any way, shape, or form, move along.

    House Flipper on Xbox One is a wonderful surprise. It does not have the deepest gameplay, but it sucked me right in. It may not be a game I remember for years to come, but it will surely stay installed on my Xbox One so that I have something quiet and calming to play the next time I feel the need to be alone with my existential thoughts.
