Now this map is truely a mixed bag in terms of quality for me. From playing episode 5 again prior to playing episode 6 i had noted that the level was an interesting challenge, testing your bounds in a zone that is always hostile and giving you 4 targets that were spread out in a not to overly gimmicky fashion. From playing episode 5 again prior to playing episode 6 i had noted that the level was an interesting challenge, testing your bounds in a zone that is always hostile and giving you 4 targets that were spread out in a not to overly gimmicky fashion. However with episode 6 i find that the gimmick may have gone to far, going as far as to almost remove all equipment options until ofcourse you've mastered the map. Now to the gamer who likes a challenge i didnt particularly mind this at first, but on the second or third playthrough things began to get dragged out with mission challenges taking longer than they needed to because you now have to find everything on site which eventually becomes annoying after a time.

In addition the story didn't really continue as i had hoped from the earlier episodes. I mean sure we are greeted by an interesting conversation between 2 characters, but nothing really seems to be tied off or otherwise be explored further in this episode, leading on to what we can already assume will be the strongly rumored season 2 likely arriving next year. This then becomes problimatic in a way as to experience the full story people might just be forking out cash until season 3 to conclude the story.

Finally the gameplay ofcourse is still fun and offers alot of easter eggs like HAL9000 and Bruce Lee to keep you finding more even after you've completed the mission. In addition the oppurtunities are still as gorery as ever except this time around you have the beautiful Japanesse snowy skyline serving as the backdrop for the guy you just plunged a knife into.

Overall the mission is fun and is worth playing hitman for the last time this season. However if you're looking for a conclusion to the hitman story you might want to start saving some cash up.

The final episode of Hitman is a befitting finale for the first season.

This final episode of Hitman brings together all of the lessons IO has learned over the course of the season into a fun, elegant swan song. I will admit that I was skeptical of the episodic format before the intro was released, but they managed to come through and bring 47 into what is hopefully just the beginning of a glorious new career.

Hitman Episode 6: Hokkaido is one of the best levels this season and a great mission to end the year on.
