    This is truly one of the most powerful games I have ever played. I think it is best experienced with ear phones on so you can really feel everything. A must play In my opinion.

    Nice visuals, no HUD and a 60fps option makes this game nice to play. That being said, the game is linear and has multiple non-logic puzzles. You must do action A before you can do action B... combat also didn't feel fair a some points and 6 hours is on the short hand. Final verdict: mediocre game

    Hellblade is the most awesome game I have ever played. I'm not overstating but I like this even more than God of War. The level setting is beautiful and so detailed . I don't love puzzles in games but the puzzles in this game are pretty fun. The combat is not the main thing of the game like Sekiro/Dark souls. However, the narration/Senua's imagination/details in each level are just out ofHellblade is the most awesome game I have ever played. I'm not overstating but I like this even more than God of War. The level setting is beautiful and so detailed . I don't love puzzles in games but the puzzles in this game are pretty fun. The combat is not the main thing of the game like Sekiro/Dark souls. However, the narration/Senua's imagination/details in each level are just out of the worlds and a perfect 10 on 10. Also, the Norse mythology stories are very interesting so do not miss them out. The fight with Fenrir is one of the best fight I faced in a video game given that I had to rely on my senses so much as we are fighting darkness. That fight is a genius design that amazed me. Overall, Hellblade remains as the best game I played till date ( no exaggeration ).… Expand

    This game has a great mix between, story, puzzles and combat. I almost put this game away before ever getting to the first boss. After the first boss I just got sucked into the story and visual master piece that is HellBlade.

    Really good story and narrative , the puzzle mechanic is very creative , but it can get repetitive . Combat is really good and audio design is fantastic

    Based on reviews I expected great visuals but in reality in HDR on my Oled TV the game looks very mediocre and washed out. God of War, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5 these are the game with great picture.
    I expected great audio with binaural technology . In reality nothing special. Dolby Atmos games sound 100 times far better.

    It seems like Ninja Theory not only perfectly combined what we currently know about mental disorders and illnesses (with an emphasis on psychosis) with Norse mythology, but also managed to resurrect the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe novels in the language of today, taking the art of portraying the horrors that can happen inside the human brain to a whole another level. It is an excruciatingIt seems like Ninja Theory not only perfectly combined what we currently know about mental disorders and illnesses (with an emphasis on psychosis) with Norse mythology, but also managed to resurrect the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe novels in the language of today, taking the art of portraying the horrors that can happen inside the human brain to a whole another level. It is an excruciating experience in a good sense, one that enlightens you and stays with you for a long time after. The sound design in this game is something that I hope game studios will aspire to in the years to come. The game mechanics are a bit repetitive and fights are pretty basic but for now, I can let it slide thanks to the one unconventional principle they introduced to the gameplay that really supports the story and makes you care for all that happens throughout (discover for yourself, I don't mean to spoil). Let's hope they will have more time to develop some new ideas for mechanics in the already announced sequel.… Expand

    I don't remember a game leaving such an impact on me. Amazing work, yes it's a short story but the experience is still powerful. The most beautiful game I've seen on xbox one x so far, the sound work is finely tuned. And most of all, the studio tries here to give a unique and original experience and that, opposed to the tyical annual assassin's creed like licences, is quite refreshing.

    These are the games I love. The story is not original but the narrative is solid and convincing, a real odyssey. Senua makes you sorry, in the positive sense of the word. You empathize with the character and suffer with her. In addition, technically the title is well structured: graphically solid and well-finished audio sector. Right longevity. Waiting for the sequel.

    Wonderful time. Deep combat that is always fun. Although the illusion puzzles can be a bit annoying most puzzles are enjoyable. The story has high stakes and climatic moments. One of my favorite games of all time.

    As a game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is the cross between a puzzle-lite walking simulator and a brutal action-adventure. Despite some mild design and middling technical flaws, it balances both aspects rather well. As a narrative, this is one fantastic experience. It’s an honest, challenging look at battling mental illness that will stick with you long after the credits roll. It’s as beautiful as it is soul-crushing, making it a must play for anyone who still has a soul to crush.
