    There's a reason that a decade later people are still playing GTA 5. The world, characters, driving, mods, heist story, online mode. There is so much to do and all of it is good.

    Great Game. The best GTA now enhanced by the Xbox One is a delight to play. Given that the Original GTAV was close to a 10/10 imo, this version just finalises any doubts in my mind.

    At first, people were telling me to play the story of this game because of how good it is. At first, I didn't want to, but all of a sudden I played the whole thing. When it was released i thought gta online was a very great decision and it stays. A lot of people are mad at Rockstar Games because if they didn't did it GTA VI would've been released sooner. Lucky wheel is inaccessible in some countries, which is where some of those cars will go according to a Rockstar newswire about the newest DLC. At least 2 cars are in the Vinewood Car Club (must have GTA+ to buy cars, only available on PS5/Series X) when they were free previously.     The Story Mode of this game is near perfect, although it is a bit rough around the edges. Although Online is just a cesspool of people in opressors killing you at most every seven minutes. But the Story Mode is best for more of a fun time rather than a stressful on like in Online.

I mean GTA has always been known for violence and sex and drugs but it's like they cranked up all of that by 90%, thus creating GTA V. An amazing game nonetheless, but very lacking in many, many categories. OpenAh yes, Gta V. One of the most well known video games ever made.     It is an entertaining game, which fulfills what is proposed. But it is a very big setback to previous installments, the map outside of Los Santos is empty, and the variety of interiors was lost a lot. Strange physics and an unmemorable story.
    Excellent to hang out but it is not the great wonder as has been said before.

    Yes, we all wait for GTA VI. But I still come back to this masterpiece after all the years. It was great on the Xbox 360 and so it is on Xbox One. Must play! Overall rating: 9.2.

    While I cannot deny that this is a good game, it just is not for me. The characters just do not interest me. They are well written, but just not for me. The Online is garbage as it is just designed around exploiting the players to spend real money to do anything interesting in the online part of the game.

    Grand Theft Auto 5 is an extremely fun experience and has one of the best stories in gaming. I've played this game since it came out in 2013, and the single player holds up to this day.

    HOLY **** Rockstar released a good game for once and actually didn't mess it up!

    After putting a total of 126 hours into the game, I finally got to hand to Rockstar, The story is awesome and woah!, these character in the story is actually likeable compared to GTA IV, and the graphics on the fkin Series X and one s, look awesome. The NPCS and physics are stupid but not rough and it    HOLY **** Rockstar released a good game for once and actually didn't mess it up!

Something I'm a big fan of in games like this is hand-to-hand / melee combat. And that aspect of this game is not only exponentially worse than 4, but it's somehow kind of worse than GTA San Andreas? Confusing. My issues with the game are mostly minor,I put this kind of on-par with GTA 4. Like, it's graphically much better. Obviously. But the gameplay doesn't do much for me compared to 4. Something I'm a big fan of in games like this is hand-to-hand / melee combat. And that aspect of this game is not only exponentially worse than 4, but it's somehow kind of worse than GTA San Andreas?     One of the greatest games of all time. The only game that comes even close to this masterpiece is Red Dead Redemption 2, and it's made by the same developer. Grand Theft Auto V is great in every way you would want it to be. The story is really good, even though certain people might argue the GTA IV story to be better, I don't think that is the case.     Truly one of the greatest open world games to ever be released. The game looks incredible, even in 2022, and has what feels like endless missions and side quests. Only Rockstar could create a game as immersive as this one.

    For a game released in 2014, it still looks amazing. The story is engaging and enjoyable. The characters have their own personalities that don't feel bland or uninteresting. There's many to do in game, though I cannot comment on the multiplayer aspect. Rockstar has released another amazing title, and I cannot wait for the next instalment of the series.

    GTA 5 is without a shadow of a doubt Rockstar's best GTA titled. Everything Rockstar touches turns to gold and this game is no exception. I loved it. I'll mainly be focusing on the Storymode side of the game. As I haven't played enough (nor do I plan to) of the online missions. But regardless the story and characters of GTA 5 are so great Trevor and Michael are great characters. FranklinsGTA 5 is without a shadow of a doubt Rockstar's best GTA titled. Everything Rockstar touches turns to gold and this game is no exception. I loved it. I'll mainly be focusing on the Storymode side of the game. El modo online es una mierda pura y dura, las misiones tienes que hacerlas siempre con otros jugadores si no , no te deja jugar. Tiempos de espera π Las misiones que te dejan jugar solo muchas veces estan a un nivel para 4 jugadores o sea que olvídate de superarla. La economía Interna del juego es muyModo campaña aceptable pero cansa después de tantos años el mismo mapa y misiones. El modo online es una mierda pura y dura, las misiones tienes que hacerlas siempre con otros jugadores si no , no te deja jugar.     The story is mediocre. The characters aren't fleshed out enough, like for Franklin, I don't care enough for. Trevor is likeable, yet psychotic and unpredictable, wish we knew more about him.     Playing GTA5 is like playing 3 different games in one. I liked each of the 3 main protagonist as they were all different in their own way. Adding the first person view was a good small addition.

    I finally pushed myself to finish this game after several years of false starts. Between the controls and the overly long story it was a tough road for sure.     I finally pushed myself to finish this game after several years of false starts. Between the controls and the overly long story it was a tough road for sure.

    The story follows Franklin (Ice Cube from Friday, complete with funny side-kick), Michael (NOT Tommy Vercetti, which I was expecting and would have been a cool twist) and Trevor (Favorite character of all thirteen year olds who still think swearing is edgy). Franklin runs into the retired thief Michael and soon begins pulling off heists of all shapes and sizes. Eventually, they draw the attention of Trevor, an old and bitter acquaintance from Michael's past. The three of them get involved in one mess after another.

    The story did have compelling moments, but it was incredibly long with some story lines that seemed to go nowhere. The problem with three protagonists is that you don't get as attached to any of them. Not that any of them are decent characters. Trevor is usually gross and Michael is a sad sack. The closest proper character might be Franklin, but he still is a bit one note and doesn't really grow throughout the story. There are some genuinely funny lines and situations, but more often written with a very stupid and childish sense of humor.

    The absolute worst component of this game is the way the characters and vehicles control. Even at the highest driving skill level and the best cars, you'll feel like you're driving on ice. There are so many games that have done driving controls way better, it's incredibly frustrating to be in a high speed chase only to hit a pole and be spun around in the other direction. Walking is even worse! After thirty hours I still had trouble pointing any character in the right direction. The most difficult part of any mission is fighting with the controls.

    The mission design is quite varied, some can be a bit tedious with all the driving. At least the heists that pop up throughout the story do get quite interesting. They are usually pretty well designed with different approaches and planning. Switching between characters during these missions is well done when each one has their own skills to contribute.

    It is very difficult to score this game too low. Clearly a ton of time has gone into the world design and the graphics and scenery are still incredibly well done. Video games are made by so many teams of people, whichever of those teams that handled the story and (especially) the controls definitely did a terrible job. The teams that created the world and environments still deserve credit for excellent work.    … Expand

The open world is diverse, and hyper realistic like Red Dead Redemptions. It has alot of in game mysteries that the playerbase is still trying to solve 7 years later, such as the Chilliad mystery. There are strangers and freaks (A complete knockoff of Red Dead Redemptions stranger missions, but there both Rockstar so it doesnt matter.) which help complete the world. You can also Beat, Rob, and Kill in GTA Online. A toxic community, but in a good way. GTA Online makes you Heistatron from Rick and Morty, (Not actually) and your main goal is to rob, from gas stations, to a the giant drug cartels of Cayo Parico. Overall a great game with graphics that still hold up, 8 years later. The only reason that it isnt i a 10 is because of one thing: Once you get bored, you cant not be bored. its like Sea of Theives in that matter, of once your bored, theres no coming back.… Expand

    While I do like the Single Player campaign, the Online mode is no good. Griefers all over the online one. That's the reason why I tend to rip the Online games new ones.

    Definitely the best experience a video game has to offer as of 2021. Grand Theft Auto five it's an incredible and immersive experience that will take you to the fictional city of Los Santos creating the best atmosphere a game has ever done.

    GTA 5 is the first part of the GTA series that I ever played, only 2 weeks ago. For me, I like a lot of game options, a range of cars and weapons and the size of the map. But the thing that annoys me is, at least in my opinion, very stupid control. If you're an Xbox gamer and you've played more game titles, you're sure to notice. In my opinion, control in the Mafia, for example, is much easier.

    Great story, incredibly fun to play and to mess around in, and good graphics. The Online portion is also very very fun (if you are in a NAT type lobby), as if you can be in thesse lobbies without anyone, then it becomes easy but fun. Online generally though is very very toxic.

    Would 100% recommend the game, very very fun and great to play.

    It is the most infra-flying game, I simply want to believe because of its popularity and to be the game that has surpassed the exclusives of such a console and some cannot bear it and for that they hate it

    The remastering of the game brought many new features such as some aviation missions, or secondary missions, races, many more new cars, a variety of cars and pedestrians on the streets, greater drawing distance, better textures, fov, new weapons,, more animals, peyotes, and first-person highlights and better made than first person only games of 2020.

    It has three stories in one, masterfully mixed, each character is for each type of player in the saga.

    The story is much more complicated, convoluted and better explained than what people usually see. People are only left with the action and the swearing but it is much more than that. The characters are well crafted and are deeper and have more personality than other games of the time. Michael is divided in his life and what he wants from it, Franklin is a worse person than he seems and Trevor is more friendly and aware of who he is than the other two. Everything you ask yourself playing the game is told in the story, how they met, why they are like this ... The heist missions are new and they have two options with their preparatory missions and apart is the saga game with the most missions varied, fun and long. It's a shame that people don't take the story seriously because it´s the top 3 of its generation.

    The secondary characters are very good, not at the level of gta iv but the closest ones have personality to have had their own dlc.

    The city is incredible, with city and countryside as many asked after gta iv, it feels alive and is full of curiosities, you can see even the curve of the earth when flying and the bottom of the sea is explorable. Again full of details like all R * games.

    There are also those who complain that there is nothing to do behind the story, something totally false. You can hunt, buy businesses and their missions, secondary missions, random characters, aviation test, base jump, shooting range, cinema, shopping for clothes, cars, tune cars, tune weapons, triathlons, etc.

    The graphics are the top of its generation considering that it is open world and the amount of things it has such as the ocean, the big map, physics, i.a. objects on screen ... and even being open world it is graphically above linear games

    The b.s.o. It is huge and with songs of all styles, the largest and most varied in the saga and far ahead of other open world games with similar themes. The songs created for the game and its missions are also very good and typical of action movies, playing in game situations adding tension and epicity.

    The gameplay is an evolution in the saga, now shoot, take cover, shoot without looking out, drive ... everything is different from gta iv. Some may think that it is better or worse but at least it is not a copy and paste and for 2013 it defends itself very well today

    GTA V was one of my favorite games from RockStar, but I can tell you that this game is really cool, but to be honest there are some cons too. Now about pros. First pro is that the heist missions are really cool because you can choose the plan of the heist, my favorite is the Juggernaut suit heist! Another pro is the list of characters, my favorite were Lamar who even became a meme with his 'Yee-Yee Ass haircut', Trevor who is just my favorite character because this guy is crazy but he's actually not that bad person because he a bit cares about some people, just like his mom and Patricia who was a wife of a mafia boss. So, I was really worried for Trevor and I think he's better than Vaas from Far Cry 3!

    GTA V is no doubt a great game, but its not a great GTA game, while the gameplay and map are the best in the GTA series the rest of it, is just mediocre at its best, the main plot its pretty plain with only one or two memorable characters followed with only two or three "good missions" the rest of the game is like a joke, but a bad one, GTA is known by its funny easter eggs and memorableGTA V is no doubt a great game, but its not a great GTA game, while the gameplay and map are the best in the GTA series the rest of it, is just mediocre at its best, the main plot its pretty plain with only one or two memorable characters followed with only two or three "good missions" the rest of the game is like a joke, but a bad one, GTA is known by its funny easter eggs and memorable quotes but also with some drama and seriousness with lots of metaphors, like in GTA IV talking about the "American Dream" or many other metaphors, but in this game there isnt any of this, just jokes and lots of shooting, as i said it has the best gameplay mechanics of any other GTA, but Fast and Furious has lots of action and jokes but that doesn't make it a good movie, it just makes it more entertaining and easier to watch for everybody, and GTA V has the same exact problem, is just action and nothing more, while every other GTA had action they also had the most touching stories, memorable characters and in the case of GTA IV it had the most heartbreaking moments in the whole franchise
    and gave you the choice to have revenge or let that person live. In conclusion GTA V is a great game and a must play, but it doesn't deserve such a high ranking    … Expand

    Rockstar did not have to try hard – GTA V would sell on new consoles even it was the same game as before. It’s hard to underestimate both their ambition and effort to make their latest offering something more than a simple reissue. The new first person view really changes the gameplay and alone is worth your money. [01/2015, p.36]

    The real draw to return to fold, or jump in for the first time if you missed out on GTA V over the course of the last year, lies in the updated graphical prowess current-gen systems hold. Most significantly, the draw distance in this updated version is absolutely outstanding.
