    This bundle is awesome in my eyes. May not be like it was for everyones' expectations.

    The decision on buying this might depend by person to person. If you already have the GTA Trilogy with the PS2 Classics or Steam and the things the rerelease offer isn't enough or expecting something newer then this may not be what your looking for.     However if you're like me and wanted to try these games out with quality of life improvements and after coming from GTAV or wanted touched-up classics then this is well worth a buy. The games are pretty considering they are PS2 and Original Xbox games with remastered graphics

    The 0.5 rating is pretty overdramatic and sure there are flaws (What game, movie, TV show or anything doesn't?), but Rockstar promises to fix them and they apologized for not meeting everyones' expectations. Just please don't harass them.

    The checkpoint system is handy so I don't have to backtrack to the mission start area and play the whole level again and the autosave feature is nice so I don't have to drive all the way back to a building with a save area.

    Also this is the trilogy in 4K (On PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, PS5, PC and Xbox Series) and portable (On Switch). Also this is the time the 3D GTA games are on a Nintendo console, the other ones like GTA2 on the Game Boy Color, GTA Advance on Game Boy Advance and GTA Chinatown Wars on DS are top down due to obvious system limitations.

    I'm really excited if Rockstar decides to make a GTA IV Definitive Edition as well as Definitive Editions of GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories, so GTA IV finally gets to be on PS4 and Switch after being BC on Xbox One and Series for so long and so VCS and LCS can break free from the PS2 and PSP officially.    … Expand

    I've played about 10h of GTA SA Remastered (Game Pass) and here what I would to say. The game is pretty nice. Not perfect, but no such terrible as people say.
    What I really like is upgraded cities, cars and nature. Countryside looks great!
    The control is much better than original game, I'm happy with auto-aim and weapon wheel. But there something I really can't stand by.     In general, I have fun playing it. It looks as well as I remember from the childhood. This edition deserves better than it receives. Cause it seems like new trend on the Internet "Who will hate GTA TTTDE more" and this not cool bros.
    Some had a very very very high expectations (even if they claim they didn't), but it's your problems, not the game :)

    While it's nice to revisit the classics and while some aspects of the game does look nice. There are other aspects of the game they didn't try on / made look worse.     This is the bare minimum for a definitive edition, some could even say its below. My review score is still early so I can/will adjust after I 100% all 3 games. I'm enjoy these classics but I keep seeing things in game that needed to be better. I recommend holding out for a sale before buying, unless you are a die hard Gta fan like me and cant wait.

This isn't a remake but more a remaster that keeps the feel of the originals while adding a filter making everyone a bit more colorful and chubby claylike. The driving buttons has been modernized as well. The game was developed by Grove Street Games, Formerly a Mobile OnlyGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition Hits Nostalgia and brings the classics to the new age... kinda. This isn't a remake but more a remaster that keeps the feel of the originals while adding a filter making everyone a bit more colorful and chubby claylike. The driving buttons has been modernized as well. The game was developed by Grove Street Games, Formerly a Mobile Only developer by a different name. The style is apparent however the games are still gta. There are some graphical glitches like characters with huge noodle arms but from the hours I played, a lot of the gameplay glitches and renders are the same as the original games. There has been a huge outcry over the PC version and missing files or files that are incorporated but shouldn't be, but that being said the game should be reviewed on the release rather than the outside resources. GTA Trilogy has some issues but at the end of the day its still GTA with a filter of new looks and the same gamplay from the past. That is... at least on the Xbox One X. It's a rough release but unlike the era of the past, we can now fix any issues in a patch and move on. If you're a huge GTA fan, I do recommend it even for $60 ($20 Per Game) although if you're not that big or only want San andreas then I'd skip for now and play San Andreas Definitive Edition for free on Gamepass.… Expand

    I never extensively played the original; only dabble in San Andreas. I really enjoyed the definitive edition of San Andreas. It's shortcomings are obvious and abundant. But, the game looks better (IMO), has modern controls, and runs smoothly. I see why people don't like it, but it isn't that bad.

    NON-POPULAR OPINION! I am having a lot of fun in the remaster. I like the new graphics, GPS, autosaves and check points in missions. But I don't like character models, old physics and archaic animations. The whole thing looks OK at most. I recommend buying it when it is delivered.

    Badly done. A classic remade anyway for Rockstar to make more money. He deserved more affection in the production. But it serves to remind the good times of Ps2 and the first Xbox.

    Giving this a 4/10 is incredibly generous of me, the character models look terrible some of the characters look like they've broken their arms and said 'I'm fine'. The bugs from the classics are still here and some of the cheats have been cut, and the framerate is piss poor. DO NOT BUY THIS.

The graphics are good until the cutscene starts, because the characters are disgusting, but more on that later. 7.5 / 10 Drawing range: everything is very good here, and because of such a drawing you can see the whole game world (how small it is, damn it) 9.5 / 10 Physics, AI, and Machines: Why are Destruction, AI, and Physics from 2004 in the 2021 game? For the sake of preserving the atmosphere? I doubt, most likely they just had to **** with it, just to cut the money, and the cars are quite good, but they are still far from the bimo, but at least the controls are a little more convenient than in the original. 4/10 Characters: there is a full pzdts, they seem to be made of plasticine 3/10 Textures and Objects: These have been reworked and look pretty good, but not perfect. 8/10 Bugs and shortcomings: one of the bugs noticed is that the roads in some places do not have texture (almost like in the Harris mod, when some map is crooked) and you can see this in the photo below, as well as objects appear right in front of the player 7.5 / 10 Optimization: on Xbox one, during explosions, FPS sags noticeably, and it can also drop due to too much traffic. 5/10 Bottom line: this is just the original GTA (with censorship) and with updated graphics, and 60 bucks, even for a trilogy, is too much, and for this money you can buy rdr2, where the graphics and physics are even better, and the characters look normal. Rating 4/10… Expand

I only played about half of GTA III so overall was I looking forward to doing it all again on my XBOX with updated visuals and achievements, At the moment I'm only playing SA on Gamepass and I will persist with that as it's 'free' but I would not pay £55 or whatever for allI was pretty excited for this as I absolutely fell in love with VC in my 20s and completed that and then SA too.... I've been lucky so far (having seen the stuff online) but I can tell it's a lazy effort... The environment looks very good to be fair but the character models leave a lot to be desired and I've noted a few bugs where objects pop in or disappear and dialogue cuts off. Additionally the rain effect needs toning down significantly! There ARE some welcome quality of life things (autosaves and aiming) that improve things. I see some songs have been cut and they could have at least added cover versions? This does not represent anything 'definitive' as far as I'm concerned. People that have played VC are saying the use the SA menu sound effects as well, that's poor, would spoil VC for me. All that said Rockstar or Grove street DO have the opportunity to fix this stuff. If they do that I MAY consider buying this for nostalgia reasons but no chance in hell at the moment.… Expand

    O gráfico ambiente do game tá muito bom, mas já os personagens.. Tudo estragado fora os vários bugs durante gameplay e até cutscenes, crashes durante o gameplay, queda de FPS em algumas partes do mapa e com algumas condições climáticas até piora, os NPC's são totalmente sem noção (mais que o normal) principalmente os membros da gangue recrutados Enfim é isso

    Jogo infelizmente não custa todo o preço a comprar. O jogo foi lançado totalmente mal otimizado, algumas cutscenes, como em San Andreas o CJ começa a mudar e aparecer pixels aleatórios. Sendo que os três jogos lançados marcaram não somente a infância de todos, os desenvolvedores deveriam no mínimo fazer algo muito mais descente que este jogo está a mostrar para nós

    Didn't have a Xbox One version so i cant review it (through reviewed PC version), nor console itself, but anyway, it's basically worst just like other version of game. Giving it atleast 2 or 3 just to be fair.

    The lack of effort is outstanding. They fixed maybe 2% of the game's problems. The graphics are okay but the gameplay, animations, and were given little to no effort in changing. This is a lazy cash grab please do not buy.

    From a technical standpoint… how on earth does this have frame rate issues on Xbox series x on fidelity mode. It performs worse than cyberpunk… why and how..?

    The bottom line is you should wait whether you’re a new fan or an old fan returning. This Definitive Edition was a sad excuse for a re-release. Visual issues plagued the gameplay making it a frustrating experience with goofy looking models looking worse than the originals. The sounds still hold up and have aged well and there is longevity with these titles as they are brilliant when functioning. I have faith they will continue to update and fix issues, but game developers are getting away with dropping broken games and fixing it later. The delay for the physical releases being pushed back to the 17th shows that they want more time to fix them. The digital launch was a beta test at best and we were the guinea pigs to experiment with. Wait for the inevitable updates to slowly roll out before giving your money to a game company that wanted to swindle loving fans at launch. At least San Andreas is part of Game Pass if looking to test the waters before buying.

    Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition on Xbox is an overpriced and poorly produced release which does absolutely no favours to the classic games it attempts to celebrate. The experience here is far from definitive, and aside from the sheer laziness in the graphical remastering and performance, it introduces a whole slew of performance issues.
