    Didn't have a Xbox One version so i cant review it (through reviewed PC version), nor console itself, but anyway, it's basically worst just like other version of game. Giving it atleast 2 or 3 just to be fair.

    This bundle is awesome in my eyes. May not be like it was for everyones' expectations.

    The decision on buying this might depend by person to person. If you already have the GTA Trilogy with the PS2 Classics or Steam and the things the rerelease offer isn't enough or expecting something newer then this may not be what your looking for.     However if you're like me and wanted to try these games out with quality of life improvements and after coming from GTAV or wanted touched-up classics then this is well worth a buy. The games are pretty considering they are PS2 and Original Xbox games with remastered graphics

    The 0.5 rating is pretty overdramatic and sure there are flaws (What game, movie, TV show or anything doesn't?), but Rockstar promises to fix them and they apologized for not meeting everyones' expectations. Just please don't harass them.

    The checkpoint system is handy so I don't have to backtrack to the mission start area and play the whole level again and the autosave feature is nice so I don't have to drive all the way back to a building with a save area.

    Also this is the trilogy in 4K (On PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, PS5, PC and Xbox Series) and portable (On Switch). Also this is the time the 3D GTA games are on a Nintendo console, the other ones like GTA2 on the Game Boy Color, GTA Advance on Game Boy Advance and GTA Chinatown Wars on DS are top down due to obvious system limitations.

    I'm really excited if Rockstar decides to make a GTA IV Definitive Edition as well as Definitive Editions of GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories, so GTA IV finally gets to be on PS4 and Switch after being BC on Xbox One and Series for so long and so VCS and LCS can break free from the PS2 and PSP officially.    … Expand

The controls were awkward, the shooting and combat felt stiff and empty, the voice acting was goofy (not even in a good way) and the graphics looked like something you’d see in Fortnite (and I seriously doubt that it was due to an artistic design choice).

    GTA San Andreas one ups New Orleans in nearly every way possible despite being roughly a decade older. Which is surprising because I would rather be forced to do nothing but play New Orleans for the rest of my life than to play the “definitive edition” of San Andreas for another 5 minutes.

    I made an account just for this review. If you are like me and others here that reviewed this game. you probably grew up playing these games on the PS2/PC/Xbox. I got to play GTA:SA on the game pass for free and I am thankful for that. Because sadly there are people out there that paid $60 for this flaming piece of dumpster fire s**t. That GSG has the nerve to even call this a remaster andI made an account just for this review. That GSG has the nerve to even call this a remaster and even laugh at all the negative reviews it is getting. is a a middle finger to the customer and a look at how little gaming studios actually care about their products and their consumers. And what they actually give a f**k about. You're wallets.

    Graphics/Design
    The graphics are BARELY a step up from the original. In fact at most times I would rather look at the PS2 version then the disgusting low effort/render, melted plastic look of some of these models. The "new lighting" doesn't really do the game justice. When everything else in the world looks like a melted toy box took a **** with infinite draw distance and rain effects that look like PS1 looped ass. The game STILL has environment pop-in issues like it did back in 2004. But at least then it had an excuse with the technical limitations at the time with the PS2. And then there is the disgusting visual and world glitches. From awkward model movement(Ryder on the bike being the most meme worthy) to glitching through the map and vehicles spazzing through the air. This game is more a mess then I remember the originals being.

    Gameplay
    Some how despite this being a remaster. The controls for aiming and shooting feel s*****r then on the original. You think it wouldn't be that hard to update the controls for a 20 year old trilogy. The driving mechanics are better if not to say, easier. But the problem there now is that every car almost handles the same. The only difference now is how fast some can go.

    Sounds/Music
    The sound is nothing new, LITERALLY. It is the same look quality sound bits and audio for the 2004. I can understand using the same sounds from the old games. But when it you remaster a game and then use the PS2 quality audio it feels......off. Best I could compare it to. Would be like playing the Resident Evil 2 remaster and seeing the new graphics. Just to hear the gunfire and enemies sounds from the 1998 game. On top of all that. They cut music out of the game. And don't let people fool you. It wasn't just two or three songs. Here are just SOME that are missing in just SA.

    There is so much more to go into about this lazy Mobile game port of these games. But I am sure there are more review more detailed then mine. As I couldn't even bare to get myself to get passed the san fierro part of the game. This game and the negative reviews should be a message to R* and Take2 about what their customers think of them now. But it won't matter. Because moronic gamers will buy products as long as it has a certain name stamped on it. Sad to see such a great company like R*. That pushed boundaries and opened up the genera of what Open-World games could be. Become nothing but a sad, used up whore. That does whatever its pimp Take2 tells it to do.    … Expand

Os áudios são os mesmos. não atualizaram para ter opção, de poder trocar áudio antigo e novo. Inclusive os áudios estão todos misturados, pois o áudio do GTA San Andreas está nos outros jogos. Muitas censuras que deixaram os jogos descaracterizados. Jogabilidade, que prometeramOs 3 jogos estão horríveis, nós gráficos com os bugs dos lançamentos originais, e novos nesse lançamento. I have seen better graphical enhancement mods designed by a team of two teenagers. This feels like a genuine scam. I will be applying for a refund as soon as possible. It's sad to see how much money rockstar games makes every year from shark card micro transactions in GTA 5, yet they can't be bothered to pay alegitimate development team to physically upgrade models and textures rather then using a sort of AI upscaling. Bigger letdown then Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout 76. At least those offer new experiences, not just a downgraded version of 15 year old content. For shame.… Expand

    It’s a great start for a good game but it stops there. Sad to see a release that contains so many bugs from a company i used to love and trust. Seems like a rushed money grab version of the games which will make them a couple thousand bucks. I guess loyalty towards customers and fanbased is lost with Rockstar.

    I never extensively played the original; only dabble in San Andreas. I really enjoyed the definitive edition of San Andreas. It's shortcomings are obvious and abundant. But, the game looks better (IMO), has modern controls, and runs smoothly. I see why people don't like it, but it isn't that bad.

    On this version you cannot even complete Bloodbowl because it will crash the game. 100% is impossible.

They purposely removed from many sources like Steam so we are force to buy this version with horrible character models, tons of bugs and glitches and many iconic songs removed like Bark at the Moon from Ozzy Osborn and 2 Michael Jackson songs in Vice City.     Fatal, el rendimiento es simplemente horrendo en los tres juegos, en el caso de GTA San Andreas los incontables bugs siguen estando allí, lo peor es el precio, 60 dólares por un "remaster" que ni siquiera llega a ser mediocre, una pena.

The driving buttons has been modernized as well. The game was developed by Grove Street Games, Formerly a Mobile OnlyGrand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition Hits Nostalgia and brings the classics to the new age... kinda. This isn't a remake but more a remaster that keeps the feel of the originals while adding a filter making everyone a bit more colorful and chubby claylike. The driving buttons has been modernized as well. The game was developed by Grove Street Games, Formerly a Mobile Only developer by a different name. The style is apparent however the games are still gta. There are some graphical glitches like characters with huge noodle arms but from the hours I played, a lot of the gameplay glitches and renders are the same as the original games. There has been a huge outcry over the PC version and missing files or files that are incorporated but shouldn't be, but that being said the game should be reviewed on the release rather than the outside resources. GTA Trilogy has some issues but at the end of the day its still GTA with a filter of new looks and the same gamplay from the past. That is... at least on the Xbox One X. It's a rough release but unlike the era of the past, we can now fix any issues in a patch and move on. If you're a huge GTA fan, I do recommend it even for $60 ($20 Per Game) although if you're not that big or only want San andreas then I'd skip for now and play San Andreas Definitive Edition for free on Gamepass.… Expand

The vehicle handling is awful when compared to the original, slight tilt of the controller stick and the whole car flips all over the show. The graphics look worse than the PC original, only thing that actually looks better are the trees. Its insulting that they released THIS and ask full price on top of that. Sound effects are missing and cut out over the music in the car, so dark you can't see where you are going at night even when it isn't raining. Cars blow up when taking even the smallest amount of damage. Truly pathetic considering this is coming from the most successful video game developer. Don't even waste your time downloading this on game pass, the game can't even hold a solid 30fps, jumps between 60-25fps ALL THE TIME. Waste of time and waste of money if you paid for it. It isn't even worth 1 cent. Stay away from this if you don't want to ruin your day.… Expand

    Thankful San Andreas was available with Game Pass Ultimate. That way I learned that I shouldn't buy this game. I don't understand how this passed the quality checks. My Series X had frame drops and hick-ups and sound was off at some points. Early on the game crashed (when I had to flee on the bikes). Didn't someone beta test this? I feel sorry for the people who actually paid money for this.

    Extremely under cooked. They paid no respect to this trilogy. The character models are worst, there are a lot bug, the rain just makes it difficult to drive. And look at their courage, asking 60 dollars for this non sense, while the modders have been doing this for free for years.
    GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, is a clear case of corporate greed and how R* is about to end.

    Just not what I expected... Crashes after crashes and graphics are popping in just too many times. I was able to finish off cyberpunk quicker than this. After waiting soo many years for a game from rockstargames, you get a remaster and that also broken... Not good.

    The bottom line is you should wait whether you’re a new fan or an old fan returning. This Definitive Edition was a sad excuse for a re-release. Visual issues plagued the gameplay making it a frustrating experience with goofy looking models looking worse than the originals. The sounds still hold up and have aged well and there is longevity with these titles as they are brilliant when functioning. I have faith they will continue to update and fix issues, but game developers are getting away with dropping broken games and fixing it later. The delay for the physical releases being pushed back to the 17th shows that they want more time to fix them. The digital launch was a beta test at best and we were the guinea pigs to experiment with. Wait for the inevitable updates to slowly roll out before giving your money to a game company that wanted to swindle loving fans at launch. At least San Andreas is part of Game Pass if looking to test the waters before buying.

    Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition on Xbox is an overpriced and poorly produced release which does absolutely no favours to the classic games it attempts to celebrate. The experience here is far from definitive, and aside from the sheer laziness in the graphical remastering and performance, it introduces a whole slew of performance issues.
