    A small review for the new GTA. Today this garbage dump came out, and here I will try to answer what is wrong with this game, and why it is not worth the money, but let's start with the good Graphics: graphics have become a little better than GTA 5, but unlike GTA 5, the new trilogy is powered by an unreal engine. The graphics are good until the cutscene starts, because the characters are disgusting, but more on that later. 7.5 / 10 Drawing range: everything is very good here, and because of such a drawing you can see the whole game world (how small it is, damn it) 9.5 / 10 Physics, AI, and Machines: Why are Destruction, AI, and Physics from 2004 in the 2021 game? For the sake of preserving the atmosphere? I doubt, most likely they just had to **** with it, just to cut the money, and the cars are quite good, but they are still far from the bimo, but at least the controls are a little more convenient than in the original. 4/10 Characters: there is a full pzdts, they seem to be made of plasticine 3/10 Textures and Objects: These have been reworked and look pretty good, but not perfect. 8/10 Bugs and shortcomings: one of the bugs noticed is that the roads in some places do not have texture (almost like in the Harris mod, when some map is crooked) and you can see this in the photo below, as well as objects appear right in front of the player 7.5 / 10 Optimization: on Xbox one, during explosions, FPS sags noticeably, and it can also drop due to too much traffic. 5/10 Bottom line: this is just the original GTA (with censorship) and with updated graphics, and 60 bucks, even for a trilogy, is too much, and for this money you can buy rdr2, where the graphics and physics are even better, and the characters look normal.     Played GTA SA thru the Xbox Game Pass and what can i say besides its downright dissapointing.

    Full of visual glitches and standart bugs, somehow this game is a downgrade to the original. The lack of quality control or even basic effort on Rockstars part is impressive

    Terrible remaster. Nothing more than a quick cashgrab from Takedown Two which are the same **** with an anti-modding stance and that took down numerous mods and sued modders because they came up with something far better than this terrible remaster.

    Like another user said, this game makes Cyberpunk 2077 look like the greatest game ever made. This makes the E.T. Atari game look good. Good job Rockstar, you **** up again and released another piece of **** The worst thing is, they delisted the originals from Steam. The only way to get them now is through pirating, which might not be a bad idea for future Rockstar titles...

GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is an indicator of how to make remasters is not worth it, cartoon characters, terrible optimization, cut music and of course the bugs of the mobile versions that have moved - it's all about the Definitive Edition.Rockstar Games has become so indifferent to the players that they decided to make a remaster of the original trilogy without any effort.     If T2 and Rockstar Games didn't need the money, they would have made a good remaster, but the reality is upsetting.

    Terrible optimization. When moving around the city, freezes constantly occur. The resolution feels below 900r, although the graphics are nothing outstanding. Also in GTA: SA there are some problems with lighting, due to which it is either very light or very dark

    I've played about 10h of GTA SA Remastered (Game Pass) and here what I would to say. The game is pretty nice. Not perfect, but no such terrible as people say.
    What I really like is upgraded cities, cars and nature. Countryside looks great!
    The control is much better than original game, I'm happy with auto-aim and weapon wheel. But there something I really can't stand by.     In general, I have fun playing it. It looks as well as I remember from the childhood. This edition deserves better than it receives. Cause it seems like new trend on the Internet "Who will hate GTA TTTDE more" and this not cool bros.
    Some had a very very very high expectations (even if they claim they didn't), but it's your problems, not the game :)

    I will try to be objective and don't put negative score just because overall the remaster is bad (which is true). I will score as high as the game deserves. What I like about the game relates to the original creation back in the days (story, setting, gameplay etc.). What this remaster adds? Well, it allows to run the game on modern consoles which is good.     The game has become a **** cartoon. Cartoon textures, cartoon lighting, cartoon city. And the censors cut out everything what the original attracted. Worst Rockstar Game.

    I have only played San Andreas, which I was able to play through Game Pass. And I was very lucky that it was on Game Pass, as I likely would have spent $60 for this collection. I am a huge San Andreas fan, I got it the day it launched. I have the Xbox 360 version on disc and played it back to back with the remaster. The original is better in every way... and the 360 version has always beenI have only played San Andreas, which I was able to play through Game Pass. Many people have talked about the obvious flaws, but I truly think this is a worse version in every way. Some of the things that have gotten some praise are also negative aspects in my opinion, such as the 'improved' driving and shooting. Yes, the cars are much more responsive and stable. But the map was not designed for such driving mechanics, and now driving around feels boring because it is not engaging. There is much less variety between cars, and it doesn't really matter which you choose as they all handle well enough. Picking the right car for a long mission or a race used to be important, but now pretty much anything will do the trick. Shooting feels similarly duller, and the new lock on reticle has a very generic style that feels out of place. I will not even go into depth on the cartoony style, butchered character designs, and jarringly mismatched graphical styles. As for that stuff, I will just say I much prefer the 360 version, there may be some technical details that are higher quality in the remaster, but the 360 version actually looks like a cohesive world with a unified style. This is just a mess that was clearly assembled without love. I have bought and enjoyed every main GTA game since III. I have been waiting for this collection for years so I can play III and Vice City on my Xbox One. I did not expect perfection, but I never expected it to be so bad I wouldn't even want to play the remasters for free on Game Pass. At this point I would 100% rather buy a used original Xbox and copies of Vice City and III than pay $60 for this collection, and calling these the "definitive" editions of these games is truly an insult to the fans.… Expand

    Visually speaking the game just looks terrible, it's not a remake so it's not adding anything to the original game other than visuals. It looks like a mobile game, and looks far worse than fan made mods

    Played SA through gamepass, absolutely horrendous quality control.

    Rockstar hasn't delivered anything good in a while, this is just another example of it.

    Rockstar Launcher has been down over 24 hours, i cannot play any of their games, because it wants me to connect to internet. This is not okay. Awful remaster by the way. Just awful.

    This thing sucks, since they announced the trailer I knew that the graphics would be bad, they should have saved that money for a sixth installment of this saga, badly done rockstar, at this point you will also be like EA or Ubisoft

AI is worse than ever, no swimming for 3 and Vice City, no climbing ladders for San Andreas, no cover system, nothing new. Where are there quality of life improvements and *much more* that they promised in NewsWire article? And now they ask 60 dollar for this. Whoever worked on this have only slight experience in photoshop, thats it. They have no idea how to program new things. This is most amateurish product, billion dollar company has ever released. I absolutely dont care that Rockstar North didnt work on this. They hired the studio, they green lit it, they were okay to release it in state like this. Its all on them. Everything. Now Rockstar Launcher has been down over a day, i cant even play Red Dead Redemption 2, because it asks me to connect to internet and i cant do that, because launcher is down. This is ridiculous. They have milked GTA Online over 8 years and thats all they are capable of for now. Yes Red Dead 2 was great, but that was 4-5 years ago. Thats a long time. I have zero hope for GTA 6, absolutely none. I bet it will be with short story and extreme focus on online, i mean who know, maybe whole game will be just online, but im pretty sure they will design GTA 6 map, so it would mostly fit for online.     The lack of effort is outstanding. They fixed maybe 2% of the game's problems. The graphics are okay but the gameplay, animations, and were given little to no effort in changing. This is a lazy cash grab please do not buy.

    A trash remaster made by some low Asian studios, Rockstar just took the credits. They don't even used their own engine, they remastered the game in Unreal Engine, how silly, but they know how to take your money.

    A game that is so under cooked they didn’t release copies to the press for reviews. Rockstar have clearly looked at CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and said hold my beer while I curl a bigger turd out.

    This is the bare minimum for a definitive edition, some could even say its below. My review score is still early so I can/will adjust after I 100% all 3 games. I'm enjoy these classics but I keep seeing things in game that needed to be better. I recommend holding out for a sale before buying, unless you are a die hard Gta fan like me and cant wait.

    The bottom line is you should wait whether you’re a new fan or an old fan returning. This Definitive Edition was a sad excuse for a re-release. Visual issues plagued the gameplay making it a frustrating experience with goofy looking models looking worse than the originals. The sounds still hold up and have aged well and there is longevity with these titles as they are brilliant when functioning. I have faith they will continue to update and fix issues, but game developers are getting away with dropping broken games and fixing it later. The delay for the physical releases being pushed back to the 17th shows that they want more time to fix them. The digital launch was a beta test at best and we were the guinea pigs to experiment with. Wait for the inevitable updates to slowly roll out before giving your money to a game company that wanted to swindle loving fans at launch. At least San Andreas is part of Game Pass if looking to test the waters before buying.

    Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition on Xbox is an overpriced and poorly produced release which does absolutely no favours to the classic games it attempts to celebrate. The experience here is far from definitive, and aside from the sheer laziness in the graphical remastering and performance, it introduces a whole slew of performance issues.
