    Oh it's bad. Oh so bad. How has this ugly piece of garbage been allowed on the xbox marketplace. I got it for free with gamepass and I still feel ripped off. Oh its just so so so bad.

    Golf With Your Friends provides several different courses., It takes the traditional pace of golf and cranks it up with customizable time limits and simultaneous play for up to 12 players online or local play. The basic aim is still there although even when fine tuning your shot the mechanics do have it's share of quirks to get the shot exactly were you want it: Getting around the course in the fewest shots possible in this mini-golf stylized game. Just watch out for the plethora of obstacles that will get in your way. Timing is crucial as is a general understanding of each courses best broach hah can be viewed by a short timed fly by to give you an intitial strategy for courses or holes you may be unfamiliar with. The courses are based on a variety of themes including pirates, museums and haunted housesat well as special courses based on other Team17 franchises including Worms and Prison Architect in the works as well as some other treats team 17 has in store for us. Along with a whole host of customization options including hats and accessories an custom colors for your golf ball., several different modes including basketball, hockey, and only snapped golf balls for custom themed games, there is more than enough content here to sunk you teeth into. After many hours of play It was obvious the shots n matter what course you were on the same exact shorts could be timed and performed over and over again. S once you obtain a proven strategy on on hole you can easily manipulate the course for a successful par or under run. The achievements are repetitive and a great deal of them will just be unlocked for simply playing. It may be a little time consuming to obtain par or under for all courses if you aren't patient enough or familiar enough with the current hole or course and try to power your way into it blind. One failed hole will smack you with 14 strokes and remove your chance for a par or better run. There are a few holes where albatrosses can be hit 100% of the time if you have figured the strategy for that hole. Overall the game is a lot of good packed into a relatively low price of admission. I have a soft spot in my heart for any well executed golf game and Golf With Your Friends falls into that category. I just hope the course expansion is a continued support because as it sits there's not enough here to keep you begging for more and the online portion of the game is absolutely empty so find some friends to group up with. There's only one online achievement and it can be completed offline in a single match with 2 players so there's really no incentive to drive people into online play. While I have my share of complaints about the game that doesn't mean it isn't. good game. I would highly recommend picking this one up as a fan of the genre for any owner of an Xbox One console. It should give you at least a couple days of entertainment and is a great prt game when entertaining friends and family of all ages.… Expand

    This game is not bad in my opinion. This game is good. The music is nice to listen to. The maps are not bad.

    There are serious rough edges but its a simple enough game with many fun and varied levels that can take some time to seriously master. Solid customisation in game mode types and multiplayer options.

You can be under par for a fair few number of holes, then BAM you're faced with a hole, which is near impossible to complete under the par limit. And then the next one is worse.....And the one after that is even worse. They give you a par 4 on a hole that takes about six shots to even get near the hole.     How can a game with last generation graphics and the simplest gameplay ever be so flawed and unfun. My excitement for this game was crushed on the front 9 of the first course I played. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the worst game I've ever played but it is one that i wont be bragging about playing with anyone.

    So I really had a good time with “Golf with Friends” it took me back to when I first got my XBOX 360 and a little game I got from the arcade store “3D Ultra Mini Golf Adventures” It was one I played over and over and just couldn’t get enough of. This title really took me back to the fun I had on there playing with random people on Xbox live. I kind of struggled to find people playing onSo I really had a good time with “Golf with Friends” it took me back to when I first got my XBOX 360 and a little game I got from the arcade store “3D Ultra Mini Golf Adventures” It was one I played over and over and just couldn’t get enough of. This title really took me back to the fun I had on there playing with random people on Xbox live. I kind of struggled to find people playing on the XBOX version which kind of sucks. Tons of people play and stream the PC version though so if your looking for tons of people to play with I might recommend on there instead. I had to search European servers to find people to play on XBOX. On there I was able to get a nice game of 6 going online. It is possible to play with up to 12 though. If you have a lot of friends you play with on LIVE be fun to get some full games going especially since it’s currently on Game Pass. I figure most people will have a blast playing with their friends even if they don’t like golf. Every one loves mini golf, and all the cool obstacles you come across on the courses. let’s talk a little about those.

    There are tons of cool decoration and obstacles through out the many , many levels. Things like Dinosaurs, Knights who chop with axes, to portals. I could go on and on talking about these. There is also many of powerups like anti gravity, jet packs, and ability to bounce on water. This game is going to make you play it over and over to master these courses. If you want to be competitive online your going to play this a ton learning every course. There are so many of them that the replay almost feels limitless. Levels like Space Stations, Deserts, Candy Lands, Museums, Haunted Houses, and so many more. This is one of those games you are going to invest a huge amount of time into, and at $20 your really gonna feel your getting way more of your money’s worth out of this one. Not only are you going to invest time into learning it, but also into unlocking it’s many customization items. You can unlock tons and tons of hats for your ball, ball trails, and even change the color of your ball. Like I said replay galore.

    I know the title is Golf with Friends, but I actually played this a lot alone as well. I had just the same level of enjoyment playing it solo unlocking Achievements and learning courses. You still get a score for the levels so you can try and beat your previous scores while you learn as well. So I could highly recommend this to people who don’t like playing online, and don’t have that competitive edge. It’s really relaxing listening to the quality music that seems to fit each level perfectly while you make your way through 18 holes. I can honestly say this is the most fun I’ve had with a golf game in years. I really hope to find a bunch of people who play this on the regular to enjoy it with. Look forward to mastering the courses, and the shot meter to where I’m dominating people online. Hopefully see some of you guys and gals there.    … Expand

    This game had absolutely fantastic potential with ace mechanics. After my first couple of holes I would have been scoring it an 8 or 9. BUT it is utterly ruined by hideous and frustrating bad course and hole design on every course after the first two holes. The initial fun is totally ruined every time? Did noone play test this?

    I was weirdly excitied when I saw this had came on gamepass. Not sure why, but apparently I really wanted to play a crazy golf game and it does what it says on the tin. It's a fun crazy golf game, that's it. My biggest gripes are some of the ball physics seem waaay off. The amount of time a ball will fly off in the sky with slightest bit of over power and also gauging the actual power isI was weirdly excitied when I saw this had came on gamepass. Not sure why, but apparently I really wanted to play a crazy golf game and it does what it says on the tin. It's a fun crazy golf game, that's it. My biggest gripes are some of the ball physics seem waaay off. The amount of time a ball will fly off in the sky with slightest bit of over power and also gauging the actual power is really hard as even 1 out of the 4 bars of power seems to send it flying sometimes. I also think it needs a fly over view type thing of the hole before hand as sometimes it's really awkward to work out where the hole is and yes I know you can press "Y" to have a look, but thats useless 90% of the time.
    But all in all, it's a fun way to waist a few hours with friends (or on your own like me :D).    … Expand

    good little game if you but a bit of time into it and explore the maps it helps
    I must stress some maps are quite difficult and tend to get hard as they go along.

    Golf With Your Friends is an enjoyable mini-golf game and definitely worth checking out if you have a good group of friends with access to Game Pass. The game is light on content (with 11 courses to choose from) and would benefit from a number of quality of life changes but there is a lot of potential here to be a great game.

    This is utterly terrible! Hole design is terrible, Graphics aren't bad (and the only reason didn't give a 0). Don't waste your time - many other options out there that are much better.

    An exercise in tedium. As if the difficult power controls aren't enough, the timing of the game comes off as unfair. You get 2 minutes per hole, and you'll spend most of that waiting for your ball to be brought back in bounds. The par numbers they give are, for the most part, delusional.

    Average gameplay got a few achievements but some of the golf courses were impossible to play and kept getting lost.

    Fun holes should not be impossible holes. Why do uninspired people work in the games industry? You will spend more imtime installing this crap than actually playing it

    one of the worst games i've played in the last few years!!

    the physics are SO off. you shoot in an 45 degree angle on an even boundary and the ball doesn't only NOT bounce in the same angle, it just bounces 90 degrees in the wrong direction. the bar where you can set the power to shoot is completely random. you can do it exact the same way multiple times and it will differ every single    one of the worst games i've played in the last few years!!

    the bar where you can set the power to shoot is completely random. you can do it exact the same way multiple times and it will differ every single time. for example: on the same spot you should uphill with full power. sometimes the ball is too short to reach the edge to the next level & sometimes it's way to much power and it goes out of bounds.
    also if you have to shoot and there is a gap in-between you can land 1 meter after the obstacle and the ball glitches through the floor and you have to start again.

    it is unplayable and a torture. definitely won't recommend this game.

    Golf With Your Friends is easy to pick up but difficult to master, like all the best party games. As someone who struggles to find putters big enough for me at mini-golf courses and who has a nagging injury, Golf With Your Friends is an excellent alternative to the real thing. With the heavy focus of online multiplayer and the title being available day one on Game Pass, it’s a great way for Team17 and Blacklight Interactive to bring more people together during these pressing times.

    An arcade golf game that almost looks like a simulator. It is a pity that the graphic section is not completely good, with little content and a very selective multiplayer experience.
