    This game shows how a remaster should be done it's absolutely perfect, really outstanding graphics which you can see have been carefully done to the finest detail, great game play etc. This game is a must have and the bonus of getting the complete original series FREE when they become available on Xbox One through backward compatibility when it becomes available in November seals the deal.

    That's how you do remastered! You take an old enough game [no last of us please] then you make it looks better and you add more stuff! Then also, if you buy this you will get the other 3 games for free. Nice shot Microsoft.

    An awesome job from the Coalition, Gears of war was needed in Xbox one and they brought him in the best posible way, still gears 1 but whit the performance defendant for the new generation.

    a fantastic game that recalls the beginning of a great saga. The graphical improvements are obvious and proven in the online goes smoothly. if you are an Xbox owner, you should buy it.

    This game is simply amazing! I have never played a gears of war game before so i got this game and i can tell you THIS is how you remake a game! The gameplay is amazing and so much fun! The graphics are fantastic! The multiplayer is awesome! The coop is cool. And the story is great! That is why Gears of war ultimate edition deserves a 10 out of 10!

    У игры если и были тестеры, то их компетенции/количества было явно не достаточно!Soft-лок в 5 акте,тот кто расставлял чекпоинты в epic возможно был не опытен(хотя для такой игры должны были выделить лучших из лучших. Это же был главный тайтл после Halo)и ему/им можно было это простить,но в 2015 ТАК РАССТАВЛЯТЬ ЧЕКПОИНТЫ НЕЛЬЗЯ!

    This game is basically just a 1080p version of the old game. Still the same bugs, and same mediocre story. Gun play is of course awesome. If you're playing on the highest difficulty, the game can become a bit frustrating. But otherwise a solid way to kick off the Gears of War series.

    The original game on the 360 is one of my favorite games of all time and when Xbox announced they were going to release the game again with upgraded graphics and new levels (levels seen in the PC version) I got super excited. That excitement did not disappoint, the Ultimate Edition is truly a fantastic and the best version of Gears of War. The graphics are gorgeous and the new added levelsThe original game on the 360 is one of my favorite games of all time and when Xbox announced they were going to release the game again with upgraded graphics and new levels (levels seen in the PC version) I got super excited. That excitement did not disappoint, the Ultimate Edition is truly a fantastic and the best version of Gears of War. The graphics are gorgeous and the new added levels makes the story feel more whole but I can also see why it was taken out of the 360 version. I wouldn't mind seeing the next two games in the original trilogy remade like this because that would be Day 1 buys for me.     It was nice to revisit a game that i had spent countless of hours playing in high school. While i haven't tried the multiplayer in this version, the nostalgia of the campaign reminded me of why i fell in love with the series in the first place.     I get it, this is a revamp, therefor it does not yield a perfect score, but as far as remastered games go, Gears of War Ultimate is in the top 3 of how you do it right.

    The most beautiful and action game I've played. This blood, dark atmosphere, fearless enemies. That's all give me a lot of emotions. Can't stop playing that.

    First things first I love the Gears series and this is more than a remaster with extra missions added in and a new multiplayer mode but the original had issues that this remaster failed to solve.

    Graphics: This is the main focus of the game and it is good looking, the textures looks smooth and the characters seem real but it feels wrong, Gears of War 3 looked better than Gears of War: UE which seems cartoon-ish with regards to the graphics, it's the same style they used Gears of War: Judgement and we all remember how well that game did. 8/10

    Gameplay: The gameplay of the original GOW was clunky but also ground breaking at the time, GOW:UE refines the gameplay and makes it smoother but again GOW:3 did it better, I know they were trying to capture the spirit of the original game but by today's standards the original game sucks, I think it should have played like a slowed down GOW:3 rather than a sped up GOW:1. They also failed to fix the AI, the team mates are useless, I never saw them do something useful once, this was most predominant with the fight with RAAM with Dom charging at him even though I ordered him to cease fire, the AI was a mess they should have cleaned up but instead they left it. 7/10

    Changes: Most of the changes are cosmetic such as graphics and character movements but they also changed the structure of the cut-scenes, adding and removing segments and changing the pacing to make it fell more natural and for the most part it works well with the exception of a few scenes feeling like they were glued together post haste. 9/10

    Multiplayer: I won't score this because I think it would be unfair, but I hated the Gears of War:1 multiplayer because it was a mess, if you got the power weapons you had won and they decided to keep this structure in the Ultimate Edition where they should have ditched it for the better GOW:3 multiplayer where it was down to skill.

    Overall: A faithful recreation of an old classic but a little too faithful.

    Playing last week original Gears on Insane and now the Xbox version. Really really a good job. The graphics are very good (better than a couple new games on Market), and the mp, ahh the mp, smoothly and insane !!

    Awesome game, this is how you do a remaster! The graphics look gorgeous and the gameplay continuous to be incredible. The multiplayer is also very good and nice to play with friends. One of the best Xbox exclusive games!

If you're looking to rehash the past, GoW Ultimate Edition is a fantastic buy for XB1 owners. You get the original game remastered for 1080p with a solid multiplayer, but you also will get GoW2, GoW3 and Judgement as backwards compatible titles for no extra cost. IfReplaying Gears of War reminds me why this has become one of the more important franchises to stay exclusively on Xbox.     Great remaster of the original game, good to see the new 5 chapters included. The multiplayer has been given the necessary refresh to make it look and play great on Xbox One.

    This is the way to do a remaster! Full of improvements that are both graphical and gameplay related. You get 5 additional chapters of playthrough on story mode, and dedicated servers on multiplayer. What more could you ask for in a game that's already proven to be so good 9 years ago. Today there are way too many remakes and rehashe's out there but this one is one that deserves to be made!

After spending reasonable time with campaign and multiplayer I can confirm that this is the game you know and love with a fresh coat of paint (which is gorgeous, I might add). But, if you're like me and have fond memories playing this game in 2006, this is a wonderful stroll down memory lane and definitely the best possible way to have the "Gears of War" experience in 2015.

    Completely redone graphics , much more defined , easy to learn gameplay .

    The story is quite engaging and very well told . For those who never played very worthwhile, and the multiplayer is great. The sound of gunfire could be a little better, but it's still very good. In another crucial game for action fans.

    The game is plain awesome. The Graphics especially in act 3 are outstanding!! If you like gears then your going to love this. The multiplayer is 60fps 1080p with dedicated servers and runs so smooth. Really sites like Gamespot have no idea what they are talking about the game is just plain amazing.

    Must have for xbox one owners, with the game launching at only half the price as a normal game. The coalition has done a great job with this remaster, the updated graphics, sounds and cut scenes you are really getting your money's worth. Not to mention online is 60 fps which adds the flow of game. Best remaster I have played to date.

    A great and worthy remastered 'Ultimate' edition of the nine year classic Gears of War. It's amazing how a game that came out a decade ago can still feel fresh and be highly entertaining. Most games this old show their age through graphics or mechanics, but not here. If you haven't played a Gears game, please pick this up and play the hell out of it.

    The original Gears was clunky and muddy and glitchy and not very good. However this remastered version has thrown away crappy Gears 1 and replaced it with Gears 3 modded to Gears 1 stats. End Result? The best Gears 1 experience yet. I feel this is what Gears 1 was SUPPOSED to be like, if Epic had the technology and experience back then... which they didnt.

    Picked this game up yesterday and the first thing that struck me when I started playing was how easily Gears of War Ultimate Edition can compete with next gen games. The graphics have been lovingly re-mastered and with all of the extras and achievements added this is definitely a title every one owes it to themselves to check out.     I wasn't sure to pick this up at first because i played them all before from start to finish. All great games, I'm glad i did though especially for the price games are getting really expensive here in Canada so i decided to get this for $50.     I never played the original. I played this last night and I find it very difficult and challenging when going through the story. Especially, Co-oping with a friend had made the game even more exciting. This is an awesome game and I would recommend.

    For me Gears of War 1 will always have a place inside my gaming hall of fame. It's collected a bit of dust in the last 9 years (I think it is) but it still probably my favourite game that graced the Xbox 360. It was the first game I remember playing with my brother and thinking wow, this is awesome (Split screen ohh yeah). It set a standard in terms of AAA games, it made 3rd person shooting games fun again and I just think it delivered in every respect it needed too.

    Now several years later here I am, playing through all those iconic moments that made Gears, Gears. I've seen reviews in which it's been marked down for the story not being as fluid or as exciting as 2 and 3, which I completely disagree with. I think the 1st storyline is a lot more believable and a lot less cliché, I'm a sucker when it comes to games that don't bombard you with hundreds of weapons to choose from, I think games like that always seem more balanced when using them.

    Now I've got that out the way, I'll start with the story/campaign. For people who are new to the series this is something that may not look next gen, it's an update definitely from the original but it still could of had a little more polish but it's not going to hurt your eyes playing it. The characters make the game for me, they all have a distinct stereo-typical personality which just adds some life to the game, rather that hitting a really serious tone. Some of the best moments of the game, are the conversations that go back and forth between them which make those standard walking to objectives bit much more entertaining. The level design is brilliant, small areas predominately but enough options to not make it seem like there's only one way of doing things.

    As for the story I think it's not particularly clever or anyway complex but it works. It's a story of group of soldiers, Delta Squad. Who go around the world of Sera doing some missions for Hoffman (your CO), you then go AWOL then manage to stop the Locust with their big plan whilst killing a general, who looks like the front-man to a Locust death metal band. The extra chapters aren't really important to the storyline but hey it's more Gears, and they're still fun to play.

    The enemies haven't changed they're all the same locust, the AI doesn't seem like it's been updated but I may have to play through on some other difficulties to be really sure. Some charge you, some will shoot you, some will just sit and hide for a long time. The best battles are when the heavier types of Locust come out to play, as they make you need to change cover often and think on your feet. Well definitely if you're playing on insane.

    Multi-player has numerous maps and some really bring back fond memories. The good thing for me is they've kept the play style pretty much identical to the original, thank the lord. I wasn't a fan of all the new features in the new games and I bought this because I think this was the best Gears, period. I sunk many hours into the multi-player and loved it every time. Unfortunately, there's no back flipping out the maps or crap walking glitches like the old days, which as much as it pains me to say it, it's a good thing. It runs at a 60fps which I haven't noticed a single drop yet which is another major plus. It's finally back to 4/4 in multi-player another thing which I thought the maps were perfect for, the extra person in the next 2 gears are what really let it down for me.

    All in all, it's a great blast from the past. It's still the Gears you'll remember with some extras that make it worth buying again. The incredible voice-acting, to the well thought out level design, to the fluid multi-player. It makes this game still arguably still one of the best franchises around to date and something which hopefully will continue with the release of Gears 4. The only things that let the game down for me, is the AI still seems a little dated and an issue I ran into playing solo, Dom can get stuck time to time preventing you from moving on and having to reload the checkpoint, but it's very rare. Sometimes the locust don't seem to have a clue what they're doing either and seem to just sit behind cover without contributing to the battle at all. Also it's an improvement from the original in terms of visual but it still looks a little dated but that's just me being really picky.

I can say that The Coalition did a great job at redoing the cutscenes and in general the game looks great and runs smoothly.
    Now let´s check the multiplayer; this is the most most important aspect of the game. First of all, let me tell you it runs smoothly running at 60FPS. The movement is excellent and you can no longer sense the characters´ clunkiness that defined the first installment of this franchise. It is essential that you play alongside your team or you won´t last long.
    The only problems i could find in the multiplayer is that sometimes, the shotgun is inconsistent and that there should be more variations for multiplayer matches.
    Overall I can say that this game is great choice for the people who have enjoyed the previous installments of this franchise. It can be a bit tough for newcomers but in time but this shouldn´t make you skip the opportunity to play this great game.    … Expand

I wish they would've fixed some issues with the original game instead of trying to keep it exactly the same, but I guess they were scared of some people raging over the removal of glitches and outdated aiming.     I have never played this game before, and I would have never have gotten into it if it hadn't been in the Xbox one I got for Christmas. I enjoyed the story, the characters are amazing, and they also bring humor into the story. This game has 60fps, which is the true way to play a game. The gameplay is realistic and good for a third person shooter. If you try to fall back, one of your stupid friends will be idly standing behind you, preventing you from retreating. These developers shamelessly gave us a game that involves seriously untweaked AI. The locusts have no fear, so it's understandable that they'll come at you with their balls out. The characteristics of the hive played well with the limitations of 2006. As for your allies, there is no excuse for this day and age. These developers took a ten year old game off the shelf, simply polished it, and sold it again.     Never had XBox360, so this is first time I play this game. Really don't know why some people like those games, but GOW is really mediocre third person shooter with really bad story and boring gameplay. Could be fun if you have low expectations. Seems they didn't take advantage of new hardware in any way except better GFX. Loading time after you die is ridiculous today and controls are terrible.

    I've been a fan of the Gears of War series since launch, however as it is now after December 31st 2015 the game no longer gives Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War Judgement for free by logging into Xbox live. As such I now view this game as little more than a glorified coaster.

    Original was great, this remaster plays just as good and looks better. Add to that a big helping of getting the whole series for free when backward compatibility releases and you have one of the best 'remakes' ever.

    Loved replaying GoW1. Will love doing the same with 2 and 3 soon. Up yours Raam!

    This is the best FPS on XBONE currently - including HALO5. If this is what they can do by simply porting over a game, then GoW4 will be awesome.
    I don't normally play online coop - but this is great in this game - hosting is better than joining as you can race through the cut scenes.

Shame that part and so many more were never fixed. Just about every frustrating mistake you remember from the first game is shamelessly repeated here. A couple of the more noteable check points have been moved, but the majority that began before an unskippable cutscene, still do. The movement is improved and The aim assist is supposed to be better, but I played it on insane, and I didn't notice an aim assist.

    ALL the mistakes from before are repeated and there's more. I remember a particular wretch that, in my 360 version would just jump from the roof to the floor over and over again in the mines, he still does that. Broken AI. A lot more mobs, even on Insane, will do things like that, too and get stuck behind doors. I had to search and search for the last guy in one scene and he was stuck, wedged behind a door that had flung open during the fight.

    Dom's Ai is worse than before. Dom will get himself killed and he will get you killed and he won't lift a finger to help you at least 60% of the time. There will be entire scenes where you get kamikazi charged by three locusts with shotguns and dom just watches as they run right by him, straight at you. The AI will notice when Dom is dead and they will tend to become very aggressive in this event, usually charging, which wouldn't be a problem, except on insane, they take an entire clip to kill and shooting them in the face or knees will rarely stun them in this version.

    There are several levels added to the game, that apparently were available on the PC version. They're awful, they seem like something a fan created. the last scene contains a fight that rivals the difficulty of RAAM himself. You have to fight a brumak with nothing but standard weaponry and if Dom dies, you might as well start over. With only one target, the Brumak is nearly impossible to kill. I'm all for hard games, but they shouldn't be hard because the AI is so bad. I shouldn't have to wait for that lucky run were dom manages not to run directly underneath the brumak's feet.

    The Musical score leaves something to be desired, and it's questionable why they didn't fix any of the voice acting flubs. They're not endearing. Marcus already sounds like Eeyore. There's a lot in this game that will leave you scratching your head or simply furious because these problems shouldn't exist in modern games. Dom and co will consistently stand right in front of you, take the only available cover, block doorways, your path and your shots. There's no reason for it. There's no reason that the NPC dom has to die at all. He doesn't need to be Rambo, but he could at least stay alive.

    I am happy to have beaten this game again and now that I have, I don't want to ever see it again. A twisted reminder of how far our games have come, how vapid the industry is and how a lot of developers, apparently, don't play their own games on the hardest setting to completion. If they did, I imagine, they would *AT LEAST* make dom avoid the path of my bullet or change the location of most of the checkpoints. A lot of them are in the absolute dumbest places they could possibly be.    … Expand

    Gameplay wise this is as bad as it's ever been. It's designed for coop because it's basically a zergfest, no matter how good you are you are going to die again and again in singleplayer. It needed coop as a crutch so they didn't have to go back and balance the game to ensure it rewarded skillful, intelligent play. Just grind your way through it with a buddy.

    Squad AI is still crap and so is enemy AI. Sometimes they'll come out of emergence holes and then just stand there completely brain dead. As far as single-player goes this is just an HD texture pack (something PC users have been getting for free for over a decade now), and when you get close to the textures you see that they aren't even on par with current community-made HD texture packs for other PC games. They're higher-res than original Gears, but by today's standards, they are actually low-res.

    Multiplayer is a broken mess and I have no idea how this slipped under the radar. They say the multiplayer is on dedicated servers but it plays like it's still on peer-to-peer. I still see players skipping around the map on occasion. My NAT is Open and I have a 60Mbps internet connection, so I know the error is entirely on Microsoft's/Coalition's end. I don't feel like I ever get better or worse, when I'm good I feel like it's because all my hits are actually connecting and when I'm bad it's because hits aren't registering properly. I've shot AFK players point-blank in the face and had no response. You don't get these issues in offline 1v1, and it's purely because there is zero lag and 100% weapon damage registration, so there is a problem going on here and I don't expect them to fix it. There's a post on the main page about them being aware of certain game issues but unless they actually provide high-quality dedicated servers - because this may actually be on dedicated servers, just very, very poor ones - this game isn't worth playing online. It requires far too much skill for how much error there can be due to technical issues.    … Expand

    - Kicks everyone to the lobby after every match instead of continuing onto the next map.

    One of my all-time favourite games, and I played this re-release with fond memories. I had forgotten how totally useless my comrades were in a firefight, but the rest of the game was a pleasant reunion. For fans of the franchise, you will appreciate the improved graphics too. Looking forward to the rest of the series in November.

    It is a violence game. There is loads of blood when you kill people or shoot people. If young people play the game then they will be scared of it. It is a military science fiction game.     Turned an already perfect game into an even more perfect remaster. Not only does the game run at a smooth 60fps and 1080p, the graphics also look amazing. With added content not in the original and all new completely re-rendered cut-scenes, the game should be worth more than the $50 release price. 10/10

    My issues are mostly online but also somewhat with regards to the campaign.

    The campaign, to start, doesn't have 60FPS and that's odd to me. Online, you would think, would need so much more physical memory and processing power that you'd expect this to be flipped. The campaign still looks cool, but gets somewhat choppy during hordes and rushes. They had a chance to completely blow things out of the water and missed it with the 30FPS, in my most humble opinion.

    Additionally, I don't remember the AI being as useless as they are in this game. I'm sticking to co-op so that Dom has a pulse, but Baird and Cole frequently let enemies walk directly past them without even standing up, let alone shooting at them. They are somewhat cognizant of picking up DBNO players, but their lack of wherewithal throughout the majority of the story is troubling.

    As a side note, I'd gotten stuck at two different junctures because AI enemies didn't spawn properly and wouldn't move from cover. They both happened in Act II, where you must stay in light or be eaten by Kryll, and they prevented me from moving forward with the mission. It's easy enough to just die and reload, but it's still annoying to have the issue.

    Multiplayer is a majority of my gripe with this game.

    I played Gears 1 religiously. To this day, almost a decade later, my gamerpic is still Seriously, so I know full well what this game used to be. Much like Halo, it was a power weapon hogging, NAT closing, host-shotgunning clusterluck of a morose mix of aggravation & passion.

    This online experience is nothing like the old game.

    I think they did something to make it feel more like Gears 2/3, both of which I hated, and I think it really takes away from the original feel. You used to be able to melee directly out of a run, shoot immediately after tumbling and pick weapons up while in cover. None of these things are possible anymore. Shotguns are curbed, melee stuns are instant death sentences and lancers to the legs somehow do more damage than to the head. It's not impossible to get over these issues and still have fun, but, considering the game is branded as a remake of a classic, it needs to be said that it's totally different than what old gamers are used to.

    More problematic, though, is the matchmaking process. There's apparently some sort of difficulty algorithm built into matchmaking to make the game as fair as possible, but I haven't seen it work properly once. After the first 10 or so games (which are apparently enough to establish this figure and thus ought to be enough for it to kick in), I was still being placed against full teams/clans who were 70+ levels higher than me. I have enough muscle memory from Gears 1 to not play pitifully, but it's a total wash when you're alone and you're put against a stacked team. The conventional answer is to just run with my own team, but it's still the point that this would immediately throw a new player off Gears for life. Too many games are gimmes for established teams.

    Sticky bouncers are as out of control in this game as bumper jumpers in Halo, and that's a huge detractor as well. It's a strategy that's open to anyone so I don't factor this into just this game, but the series as a whole needs work with this.

    Game looks absolutely amazing, but the gameplay doesn't add up to much more than a 7. Luckily, this was free with my Xbox One.    … Expand

    Nine years after it's original release, Gears of War has had a major graphical buff and been brought onto the next gen hardware of Xbox One. And it's still awesome. The gunplay is still tight, the story is still good, and the multiplayer is still a blast. And the new added content is a nice addition also.

    STORY: One day and without any warning monsters suddenly appeared out of nowhere and starting to rekt our sh*t. The human kind didn't like that so what better way to destroy the monsters that are trying to destroy your civilization...than by shooting down some lasers and destroy the civilization yourself?

    You play as a prisoner named Marcus Fenix. This guy was originally a soldier, but due to some sort of betrayal Marcus was sent to prison. But after some events that are never shown Marcus gets out of prison and along with the help of other soldiers and the "Control" Marcus has the objective to basically do whatever task the higher ups gives to his team and kill some monsters.

    That's a really abridge version of the plot, but that's because there's not that much going on in the story. Plot points like Marcus's father are never revealed, character interactions never lead to anything and overall it doesn't explain anything about the world we live in. It is a TPS where you shoot f*ckers with a shotgun, so I don't expect anything grand for the story, but if you're gonna introduce plot points at least explain them or do something with them...ANYTHING! But *sigh* I guess that's why we have sequels.

    PRESENTATION: When people say this is a "sloppy remaster" I get honestly confused. Ultimate Edition not only upscales de resolution, but also reworks the graphical aspect from the ground up and the result is a game that might as well have been from this generation of consoles.

    My biggest problem with GOW in the 360 was the rather dull and uninspired color pallet, I get that it's a War setting, but I'm pretty sure that the real world has more colors than f*cking grey! Ultimate Edition still doesn't have a varied color pallet, but it is a heck of alot more detailed and colorful than the original ever was, especially in the later half of the game.

    Character models, lighting effects, animations, textures, cutscenes, environments, everything looks TONS better than the original Xbox 360 version...however it does come at a cost. While the game looks good I feel like they could've toned down those graphics, if it meant that the game would run at 60fps. Just like I said in my R&C review, shooters are ALWAYS better with a high frame rate and it's disappointing that Ultimate Edition doesn't do this, 30fps doesn't completely ruin the game, but it does make the gameplay feel less smooth and tight, especially when the game starts to chug when there's too much stuff happening at once. I am happy that Microsoft actually putted some effort here instead of simply upsacling the resolution (looking at you God Of War 3 Remastered), but I still would've preferred 60fps over shiny visuals.

    I'll just get this out of the way and say that sadly the music, while fitting for the moments of gameplay, was honestly forgettable and bland. And don't say to me that shooters can't have catchy music, because DOOM's theme song still exists.

    GAMEPLAY: I wasn't expecting much in terms of the mechanics, seeing how this is one of the first TPS games out there and a 2006 TPS at that, but surprisingly not only do the mechanics still hold up, but they're among the best shooter mechanics I've ever seen, even compared to games of today, they're so good in fact that I consider them nearly perfect!

    The core gameplay is this: You run with the A button and take cover automatically when you run into something, you point with the left trigger, shoot with the right one, you can shoot without aiming, you switch weapons with the D-Pad, do melee with B, recharge with another trigger and give orders with another trigger, which I'll explain in a sec. This may sound very basic, and to be honest it is, however what makes this gameplay so especial is in the little things.

    To recharge you don't only press a button, but you also gotta time it just right so that it recharges faster, not only to shoot, but also chainsaw enemies to death with the same weapon. Everything feels fast and kinetic in this game and I love more because of it.

    Tho one complain I do have is with the variety, or lack thereof. The mechanics are fun, but I recommend playing this in short burst, because it will get repetitive in a few hours. All you do for 95% of the game is shoot with barely anything to shake it up and that's honestly a very big flaw right there.

    Boss battles do require some strategy, but they don't do much, and figuring out how to defeat them is not really that hard, but they are at least a bit more than just bullet sponges.

    I could go on and on with the rest of the features of the game, but at this point I said everything I wanted to say. Overall this game, while not perfect, it's still a good time and a good investment if you have a Xbox One.

For me the game play seems old, the graphics are really good. And there have been a couple of times in the game where I've been wowed.     To me , this campaign did not age bad at all . It brought back al the memories I had with this game back in 2006 , only this time in full 1080p . This remaster was done perfectly , its a pitty that Gears of war 2 and 3 will not get this same treatment . a Good way for The Coalition to start their Gears journey .     Bom remaster. Manteve a estrutura do original. Jogabilidade excelente, uma das melhores da categoria. Ambientes fantásticos que proporciona imersão na campanha. É um jogo obrigatório pra todo dono de XBOX e/ou fã de TPS.

    It's an HD edition that fully respects the importance of the original game for the tps genre. It's a technically sound restyle that maintains the content of the original without trying to revolutionize it. It's impressive how well the game has aged, really.

    Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition definitely belongs in that upper tier; its campaign no longer carries the industry-shaping impact it once had but it remains tremendous fun, while its multiplayer is still dramatic, unique and engaging, perhaps even more so now given the final touches The Coalition has added. As was the case back in 2006, come for the campaign and stay for the multiplayer – you’ll be glad you did.
