At the start, you will be placed in a few Tutorial battles to help familiarize you with the actions you can perform on the field, from how to place your troops, to how you control your Hero. The objective of the game is to destroy your opponent's towers, and ultimately their Hero, each granting you a star. You will collect these stars to rank up, and you will also collect other currencies to purchase and open Crates. These crates contain new troops and upgrades to old troops. You have the ability to fully customize your army's "deck" with new cards to play on the field, as you acquire them. Micro-Transactions for Currency will Drive your game forward a bit faster, also placing you in higher tiers, with tougher opponents. I personally feel this type of game is more suited as a mobile game, as you have to wait several real-time hours to open your winnings or spend in-game currency to reduce those timers. This aspect has ultimately taken this game off my radar, but not everyone is going to feel this way, as the game is fun to play. There is also a theatre mode, where you can watch some of the greatest battles in the hopes of gaining new strategies and tactics. Also, the game acclaims itself a MOBA, which it is NOT.
