    Fantasy IX is the best of the Playstation era of Final Fantasy, now 17 years old and easily one of the best the series has ever produced. This game when it was originally released was simply amazing. It was an epic quest that could never be matched. Since then it obviously has, but I was happy to see it return to the Xbox One. It has stood the test of time for hardcore fans of the series,Fantasy IX is the best of the Playstation era of Final Fantasy, now 17 years old and easily one of the best the series has ever produced. This game when it was originally released was simply amazing. It was an epic quest that could never be matched. Since then it obviously has, but I was happy to see it return to the Xbox One. It has stood the test of time for hardcore fans of the series, and for those new to role playing games this is a great place to jump in and become a fan or see what you've missed all these years later. The story is fabulous, the graphics still hold up nicely in the Xbox port and the characters are well done. Thumbs up on a solid port from Square Enix.… Expand

    i remember the Playstation one version, listening the soundtrack once again made me nostalgic, so far so good with the story with the port not many changes or crashes, i hope more ports like this come out ( as i heard the will) .

    On a donc un jeu de rôle qui n’en est pas un (si les FF en étaient, ça se saurait…) et un remastérisation à l’arrache sur PS4 et Xbox One, un replâtrage éhonté et bâclé (du 4/3 flou et des textures pixélisées) et en prime, je vous le donne en mille, des saccades « comme ça », comme à l’époque !

    L’ensemble de toute façon est d’une niaiserie pathétique et les combats ennuyeux à mourir ne sont ni au tour par tour ni en temps réel et ne cumulent que les défauts des deux approches sans en avoir gardé le moindre avantage. Franchement, même ravalé à la va-vite comme un goret, un étron reste un étron et plus particulièrement cette fiente finale du jeu vidéo !    … Expand

    Although Zidane is not my fav. protagonist, (he is still better than Vaan), this is a great game brought back in amazing HD with a good story that saw the series return to it's original roots.

    One of the best Final Fantasy games ever made. I replayed this game over 6 times and it was a joy every time.

    worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this nineth game in the series.

    Playing this game is a joy, it’s one of the best Final Fantasy’s, one of the best JRPGs, and one of the best games ever. A few bugs and general porting issues aren’t enough to completely dampen my spirits when playing through it again, and thankfully they don’t take away too much from the game.

    One of the best RPGs of all time comes to Xbox One with some improvements. The opportunity to play it also on PC thanks to Play Anywhere must be taken by old school and new players.
