    Game is normal, but EA dont use fresh details. Ultimate team is not adequately balance and very commercial way. I like this game, but i dont want more than 0, because EA need listen own buyers.

    A bad game, just like most other FIFA games these days.
    Year after years it's just a copy and paste game with a $60 price tag.

    The only thing EA puts their time towards is looking for a way to earn more and more money with FUT.
    All other game modes are left behind, with barely anything new added each year.

    Definitely not something that's worth a AAA game price tag.

    Easily the worst £60 pounds I’ve ever spent, I’m glad I didn’t but FIFA 21. Career mode (the only mode I enjoyed) was absolutely ruined with the simulation aspect of the game mode destroyed, I was unable to simulate a full season without getting sacked, play morale was a good idea but was executed with all the efficiency of a bike without wheels that has been buried 6 feet under.

    The gameplay was easily the worst I’ve ever experienced, the referees felt completely biased and unfair, I could tap an opposition player with a singular atom of my door and boom, red card but my player could get thrown to the ground and beaten with a shovel and the opposition would still get away with it.
    Ultimate Team was awful as always, with new cards being released constantly and EA being greedy and putting people in debt just so they could pack a card that would become worthless by September.
    Volta was one of the main reasons I bought this game, and it was awful. In FIFA street, I could skill out Ronaldo with De Gea but with Volta, you were unable to do any skills without a 5* skill move player, it didn’t feel nearly as authentic as FIFA street and it wasn’t nearly as good.
    Overall this game is awful and if I could reverse time and not purchase this game, I would do it in a heartbeat.    … Expand

    As a fullmanual player is so obvios when the handicappping aka scritpting kicks-in , you have 0 chanches to win or obtain a draw ( practicaly i strugle to create a chance , i aim perfectly to score but game has other plans and send the ball near post, player delay shot on purpose etc.) ,,,,The handicapping is killing all the fun in the game and is frustrating & depressing....     I created a bloody metacritic account just to write a review on how awful this game is. The quality delivered is sub-standard and the bare minimum. Honestly the only reason so many people play this game from a **** company is because of the near monopoly they hold on football video games.

    Because of there awful servers FUT mode (online games) are ruined unplayable..card packs an there % are a lie! Player stats are a lie..goalkeepers are awful...only playable with a large credit or debit card... career mode is a nno go zone

Career mode bugs not being fixed after the game being released for 9 months. Ultimate team had its good parts for sure, but marred by the removal of single player seasons (what?!)     Long story short, as long as you dum dums keep pumping hundreds of millions into Ultimate Team, only to discard that team and re buy the same game a year later, in order to pump more money into it, theyre gonna laugh on their way to the bank with your money, and not give a damn either way.     Its meh (pes is still better). Volta is okay but the voice actors get really annoying. Career mode is still really bad and it makes my Xbox sound like a jet plane. Everything else is basically the same as fifa 19. Buy pes or football manager instead.

    You cannot leave 1 player out of a game without them threatening to leave also your moral sky rockets down more then it will go up. You can’t sign average players if your a promoted team without then wanting first team football. Hopefully fifa 21 fixes these problems

    The gameplay is good, normal. It has not been possible to play a custom tournament since September because the game crashes in the group stage. And it hasn't been fixed since then ... They don't care about offline players, typical EA.

    Worst FIFA game in... I don't know... for as long as I can remember. Defending is impossible, crossing into the box even more so, player speed seems to slow down while chasing... On the other hand, it probably levels the playing field between a division 1 (which I reached a few times in FIFA 19, I'm mostly a division 2 player) and a division 8 player, of that's what your goal is. Disgusting!

    I've always loved football games. I bought this one discounted PlayStation 4, then a week later I received the Xbox copy as a gift. And I had to fake being happy and say thank you. I had to fake being happy only because the game, and it's mechanics (and all the micro transactions) were a huge turn off.

    It is a waste of money and time!

    You see how EA scam us, metacritic is 72%, user score below 1. So defenetly paying reviews. When fifa 19 is out i thought how they do worse game every year, and i think it could not even worse, i was wrong. FIFA 20 it is totally garbage, microsoft is covering this scam. I asked them to do refound and i was refuse. Just give this guy 60$ fo nothing. Never buy again, and my next platform is PS5.

    Sono stato giocatore sia di Pes che di Fifa, vivendo gli anni d'oro sia di una compagnia che dell'altra dal 1998 ad oggi. Negli ultimi anni sono stato attratto molto dalla modalità Ultimate Team, ma essendo un giocatore occasionale avevo sempre squadre modeste, pertanto i miei risultati erano scadenti e solo talvolta appena accettabili. Gli scorsi anni in weekend league raggiungevo oro 3Sono stato giocatore sia di Pes che di Fifa, vivendo gli anni d'oro sia di una compagnia che dell'altra dal 1998 ad oggi. Negli ultimi anni sono stato attratto molto dalla modalità Ultimate Team, ma essendo un giocatore occasionale avevo sempre squadre modeste, pertanto i miei risultati erano scadenti e solo talvolta appena accettabili. Gli scorsi anni in weekend league raggiungevo oro 3 facilmente. Le sconfitte le imputavo alla forza dei miei avversari, che avevano carte costose e molto rare, anche se talvolta rocambolesche. Eppure non mi sono mai voluto nascondere dietro il momentum o altre dinamiche nascoste. Quest'anno ho avuto il gioco al day one, ho deciso di fare una squadra della madonna e ho iniziare a fare investimenti, trading. a metà ottobre avevo una squadra dal valore di 2mln (roba che gli anni addietro nemmeno a marzo riuscivo ad avere). Risultato? NESSUN CAMBIAMENTO!! ANZI!! nonostante avessi giocatori molto più forti della media ottenevo comunque risultati scadenti, peggiori anche degli anni precedenti (argento 1). Risultati ottenuti in modi rocamboleschi e folli. Dominavo le partite dall'inizio alla fine, più di 20 tiri in porta, e non riuscivo a segnare mai a causa di rimpalli, giocatori che schermavano la porta, portieri devastanti che parano tutto anche tirandogli da vicinissimo. Gli avversari invece riuscivano a vincere in modo rocambolesco con 1 tiro in porta, spesso decisivo. Questo non è bello, provoca frustrazione e non fa che allontanare noi giocatori dal mondo Ea FIFA. Ho anche pensato che fossi IO il problema, cioè che non fossi abbastanza bravo, che non fossi all'altezza. Ma quando domini l'avversario in tutti i modi e su piu fronti (numero tiri in porta, possesso palla, fisico ecc) non si può non pensare che questo sia un GIOCO COMPLETAMENTE PILOTATO.

    passando ad un'analisi tecnica del gameplay, questo "gioco" non rappresenta nulla del calcio. Non riesce ad essere una vera simulazione calcistica, nè per tempi di gioco (flipper continuo) nè per fisica del pallone (l'hanno modificata rispetto al 19 rendendo la sfera un super santos impazzito). la palla rimbalza sul terreno di gioco e schizza in aria in modo anomalo, non ha un peso realistico. Per quanto riguarda Fut, è completamente pilotato. Puoi avere una squadra da 20k o da 1mln, il gioco comunque deciderà il tuo piazzamento facendo accadere robe allucinanti: papere dei portieri, 1000 occasioni sbagliate davanti al portiere avversario. Gol al 90esimo SICURO. Ci sono dinamiche e tempistiche in cui ero sicuro che avrei fatto gol o lo avrei subito perchè era il momento GIUSTO per il gioco. Vieni costantemente manipolato. Rispetto al 19, che era un gioco ben fatto, SUPER ARCADE, ma ben fatto, l'hanno solo reso meno fluido e bizzoso, con una palla matta dalla fisica inesatta. Rivenduto a gamestop a Novembre.

    Triste, mais um ano a empresa usando o mesmo jogo desde o 18, só muda algumas coisas e bota preço cheio... é o mesmo jogo dos últimos 3 anos. Porém vendidos como novos a cada ano.

    I mean... it's FIFA, right? We buy it every year and we whine about it every year, but this year is different. The game is ok, but no Juventus? What?! The FMV for press releases and player negotiations is text with no voice acting? Are we in 2006?

    Add to that the many, many new bugs in the game this year, like having to go out and back into Volta every time you want to pay your friends    I mean... it's FIFA, right?     Add to that the many, many new bugs in the game this year, like having to go out and back into Volta every time you want to pay your friends and the way you have to redo all of your controller settings because it doesn't save them and you can see how lazy they have been with their flagship title this year. It's almost as though they want to hand the title to Konami.

    EA really showed contempt for it's fans this year and proved that they are only interested in you buying coins to play FUT.

    EA, where is the love for football? Where's the passion? Where have you shown any love for the fans of the series? You must've forgotten how serious Pro Evolution Soccer is as competition.    … Expand

    - Morale system with no risk / reward - why would you give a negative response? - Manager objectives: I started a CM with Oldham in League 2. I got sacked after 38 games with the team in 6th because I did not meet some of the objectives. One was to finish with a £9m profit for the year. If i sold every single player, I would not make £9m. The objectives can be impossible, and now that you actually face repercussions for failing them, it’s a glaring problem. (This is a game breaker).
    - Headers are utterly pointless. I’ve played over 75 games and not scored a single corner. I have tried EVERY possible way to approach these. Do search this online, other people agree that the direction and height is completely random, with next to no success.
    - With default settings on the second hardest difficulty, I played 8 matches in a row where the score was 2-1 to either team. Across 25 matches there was never a score other than 2-1, 1-1 or 1-0. Is that really realistic? - Your players make ZERO forward runs. Everyone is incredibly static. If you want to show some urgency so change team instructions, everyone is out of stamina by 60 minutes! - There are never fouls by the AI. New Free Kick mechanics are in there somewhere, but I’ve had about 1 Free Kick every 30 matches so I have no idea if they’re an improvement. - Blocked shots - the AI has an incredible block shot ratio. - Rebound goals - so many goals conceded from knocking it into an empty net after an initial save. - Winning a tackle but not the ball...unbelievable how often you can win your challenge but the ball still fall to the AI players. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother buying it. EA have had almost a month since early access to try and patch these issues but instead they have done nothing. They are showing utter contempt for loyal customers and I hope it hits them in the pocket.    … Expand

    FIFA 19 v2, this is an absolute disgrace to gaming. Why is there a football mini-game in my gambling simulator? EA has forgotten that they are a game company. Career mode is a buggy mess and volta is a poor man's fifa street. I will not support EA anymore.

    Lets address the negatives first. Yes, career mode was broken but they're working on it. I'm not sure how all the things wrong with it weren't addressed in testing but regardless, they're working on it. Gameplay wise, the only thing wrong right now is switching player, which - even when using the right analog stick - seems to not change to who you are trying to select. They changed defending so that you can't just rely on your AI players to tackle for you, YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO DEFEND YOURSELF NOW, which I love because I've always been a big fan of defending manually. Because the scrubs can't defend manually, they abuse the 'Drop Back' custom tactic, which allows me, a possession based player, to have so much room around the edge of their box, play my way through and score. I haven't lost a single game on Online Seasons yet because the game is rewarding positive play instead of just having pacey players and spamming through ball, and I LOVE IT.… Expand

    Fifa 20 Career mode is broken, all the same bugs/glitches as previous years but added loss of functionality! Despite this Volta is a great fun addition but not worth paying full price for this game!

    THis game is so bad in defense!there is absolutely no way in defending,there is no balance in the game,however if you master the game you can learn how to score,but when it comes to defending you have to rely on luck and little amount of skill to get back the ball.
    If you miss tackle in this game that will be the end.do not listen to critics,it's a nightmare for gamers

    Worst game ever. Get ready to be disappointed. Defending is terrible and the pace is so damn slow. The graphics have gotten a bit better but has also took a few steps back. Fut is terrible I play 2 matches and honestly I'm so bored there isn't anything that makes me want to play more than that. Save your money and throw a big F U to EA greedy ****

    False advertising from EA. Career mode is unplayable and takes away from the immersion. You may as well play FIFA 19 and wait for EA to fix everything. That doesn't look like anytime soon either. Awful from EA, this is a slap to the loyal fan base they have. I hope they learn from this and get their act together

    Been playing career mode for well over 10 years now on past FIFAs. FIFA 20 promised so much for career mode but it’s so broken it’s not playable. There are millions of people that only want to play offline and EA **** on them every year. We pay for the game, it’s a lot of money to loose if we all jump to PES.

    Volta is half a game mode, where are the Volta online drop in games or the Volta pro clubs, seems like no effort has been made for Volta and it shows and this game mode becomes stale after a few games, even nhl has online drop ins, also sort out career mode, top 6 teams playing reserve players and getting relegated, just no effort at all has gone into this game

    Sadly, a lot of the offline game modes are broken. They put no effort into pro clubs and only care about Ultimate Team. Do not buy!

I won’t be able to add anything new that hasn’t been highlighted already.. but the fact of the matter is, EA haven’t updated anything except graphics related stuff since 2011 (coding hasn’t been touched in 9 years). They promised they spent time on the game, and in fact it’s worse than any FIFA I have ever played. AI defending is weak. Sliders don’t change much. Unrealistic tables. Teams playing youth players constantly. Being fired for giving contract extensions. No trophy for celebrations. The list is now reaching 30 major bugs and glitches.     What EA has done for career mode is purely false advertising. I am not exaggerating. It is called "False advertising" anywhere on earth. They haven't given what they promised, moreover they released the game with ridiculous bugs. What a disrespect!

    The gameplay I find has improved in comparison to recent years with movement and Speen becoming more realistic however there are still huge flaws the crossing bug needs to be fixed you will struggle to score from a header from a cross in every aspect of the game 95 finishing means if he is 6 yards out its a goal end of

Then, just a day before the game officially came out, my pre-order was cancelled for no reason. There was no explanation and I wasnt even told if I'd gotten a refund. The person who gave me the gift said they would buy it for me again. So basically, almost $200 was spent on this game (if the original pre-order wasn't refunded, which i'm still unsure about).

    This is by far the most disappointing game I've every played. Not the most disappointing FIFA game. Career mode, the main reason that I got the game for my birthday and was so excited for it, is completely broken. I won't describe the glitches in it since its been so heavily publicised but it makes the game almost unplayable and I don't have faith that EA will patch most of them any time soon.

    Don't buy this game whatsoever, at least not until patches come out for it. Waste of money    … Expand

    For all the scathing comments about FUT's predatory and disgusting practices, it cannot be denied that FIFA 20 is still a great game. If micro-transactions are a concern then, avoid them - it is pretty easy to do with the sheer number of available options, which are next to none in this genre, with Volta and House Rules being incredibly fun additions to FIFA's on-going repertoire of modes. The subtle evolution of player skill moves might be inaccessible to the casual player, but the experts that can take advantage of these changes will definitely be able to test their skills. FIFA 20 is an evolution to the series, which has surprised with its diversity of options, and should only continue to grow as the decade goes on.
