    The presentation side of the game is absolutely brilliant because both the visuals and sound design are the most realistic the series has delivered so far. I’ve really enjoyed the changes that have been made to the gameplay because both the movement and shooting feel better and no game ever feels the same. The new Kick-Off modes are a nice addition to the game and playing them is not only fun but challenging as well. FUT has seen some new additions and I’m pleased to see this because in my opinion it was going a little stale so these new additions breath a little more life into it. It’s great to see the Champions League included in FIFA and I’m pleased to say that they’ve done the historic competition justice. The new changes in the gameplay take a little bit of getting used to and I would’ve liked more help from the game to help ease the transition. I will admit to you now that I was nervous about FIFA 19 because I saw that they had made quite a lot of changes to the gameplay. Thankfully I didn’t need to be nervous at all because the changes that have been implemented to the movement and shooting have improved the game quite considerably in my opinion. In fact the game on the whole has improved and there’s a number of different new features included in the game as well which were needed in some cases. FUT feels fresher than ever because of the new additions and this does give you a reason to return back to the mode. There’s also new additions in the Kick-off mode as well and I must admit that I did enjoy playing these new modes with friends. At the end of the day then FIFA 19 has delivered in a number of key areas and when you combine that with the realistic visuals and sound design this is definitely one of the best if not the best FIFA’s there’s ever been and I’m sure fans of the series will thoroughly enjoy what this new FIFA has brought to the table.… Expand

    Game play is too slow, passing is slow, animations look like players are skating around the pitch with no weight. Add the above to no major changes to career mode or pro-clubs in favour of The Journey, a mode which last 8 hours at best and has little to no replay-ability, and of course Ultimate Team.

    I don't recommend this casino disguised as a game of football at all.

    EA will get away with everything until there is another which can poach the players and leagues licenses from EA. It is an upgrade for FIFA 18 but not worht paying for unless you are playing FUT.

    In many ways it's a copy paste of Fifa 18, 17, 16 and so on. In other ways it's A LOT WORSE that its predecessors. Crap shooting, crap passing, crap cpu and so on. I don't even know why I bought it without reading the gamers reviews first. I wouldn't have wasted my money. I'm done with EA, I'm not even buying bfv

    From what I can see the game has been dumbed down to simpleton level and all you do now is mash buttons to advance the script. The AI does whatever the hell it wants and the collision detection / spacial coding is a shambles. I was going to buy this years iteration having not bought a fifa since 14. If only pes could compete but Konami continue to make the same daft game design decisions that prevent this. Looks like no footy game again for me this year, but at least I’m not 100 bucks out of pocket and my controllers not smashed to bits in frustration.    … Expand

    This Fifa is terrible. passing is off... the cut scenes stutter in The Journey. no changes to pro clubs or career mode . i really hate this years game.

    I am not mad, it's just sad that we'll have to wait another 365 expecting you to bring a real football game. Clearly, we can see a Staff worried about making improvements only to gain more money. The game itself was not improved, this game has the the worst mechanics ever. I don't feel like I am in control of my players, the AI is donkey. They walk when    EA, what have you done to my Fifa?

    Another cesspool from EA for $ 60 +. The same thing every year, again Donat, the story of SWBF2 did not teach anything. The game is rubbish, like FIFA 18. It’s uniquely passing by. In large stores with the purchase of any equipment and even smartphones they give this game as a gift, it’s clear that the people have stopped buying this.

I started a career mode as PSG on Professional difficulty - the first 4 teams put 8 headers past me, and I conceded 3 own goals from crosses that ricocheted off of my defenders. How many goals did I score in these 4 games? One. Now, you can sit here and say "You'reHorrific shooting, horrific passing, horrific goalkeepers. Gone are the days where you point to a player and press 'A'. 99% of the time the pass goes to either a different player (if you're lucky) or more often than not, the other team. They've also decided to not change anything about career mode or Pro Clubs. On Pro Clubs often times you will play against a team that has almost identical kits as you. There's no way that this is a difficult thing to fix. This is easily the worst FIFA I have ever played. I'm actually contemplating returning it and sticking to 18.… Expand

    It's as buggy as ever, there have been no substantial changes to career mode or pro clubs (in fact, the last update broke player progression in career mode..), Ultimate team is an absolute **** with incredibly bad servers that just highlights the boring and broken gameplay, pay2win casino, a boring and uneven experience in squad battles, the "content" aka SBC's are filled with mistakes and several times EA Sports have had to pull them down because of these mistakes.

    When I talk about broken gameplay, I talk about inconsistent passing and shooting, overpowered times finesse shots, AI defending being the best option, which is so boring you might as well fall asleep. In fact the game is so automated you wouldn't believe these conmen try to make you think this is an e-sport.

    That sounds pretty bad, but why is this a 0/10 and not 2/10 or even 3/10 you might ask. Because not only is the game buggy, inconsistent, assisted(in both good and bad ways) and boring. It's predatory.

    This whole game is about packs, even the journey, the single player story mode, does everything it can with rewards to try and get you into Ultimate Team. The packs contain players and the more you buy, the higher the chance for good players to use or sell for coins to buy the high end players. You can earn packs as weekly rewards through gameplay, but you must play this game A LOT to get something out of it and even then it's mostly a dud. But hey, there's Promo Packs in the store!! With horrendous pack odds, which this year is finally disclosed.

    By the way, when there's promos going on with high rated special cards in packs, the pack odds are suspiciously not updated and only show the odds from before the promo.. There was made a post about this on reddit when people complained about getting bad packs during said promo.

    Please keep this casino mode in mind if you ever plan on getting your kids this game.    … Expand

For me Fifa 19 is the best football game now in Dec 2020 considering the gameplay. In game modes there were not much improvements to Fifa 18 but gameplay, ball physics, team and opponent AI, graphics, player faces are perfect. I am a Career Mode player and I enjoy it so much.
    This game is hundred times better than Fifa 21 and Fifa 20 and better than Pes 2020 and 2021.

    No change to career mode (the only mode I care about) and gameplay has taken a major step backwards. Players run like they are cripples, defence AI is non existent, cpu defenders have magnetic tractor beams and oh dear, SCRIPTING just got a whole lot worse. But I suppose the player faces look real and the grass colour is authentic. The box cover looks ok and the sun is shining. These are the only positives you’ll find in this game    … Expand

    Whilst it is not a remarkable upgrade on FIFA 18, I actually appreciate that it plays a decent game of football, nothing groundbreaking but enjoyable.     I feel that the passes have weight and the variable ways of scoring goals and playing to your individual player's strengths is good enough.

    Whilst I do accept that charging full price for this year's effort if you already have FIFA 18 is difficult to justify but taking the game on its own merits (and ignore the fact that it is an EA game) and I actually enjoy it.

    Like others have mentioned, I do wish tho that more time and effort had been spent on the career mode. The fact that it is almost identical to last years effort is pretty lazy and as I don't play the FUT mode, it is where I spend most of my time.

    If this had been a biannual release I think it would have been viewed in a very different light. Take some time out EA as Ubisoft did with Assasins Creed, refine your product and bring us more of what we want. Listen to feedback for once. They won't however, as people continue to buy year after year ( I didn't buy it, I have it shared with my brother in law).

Son tan malas las voces en castellano que prefiero ponerlas en cualquier otro idioma y no entenderlas a sufrir a ese supuesto comentarista deportivo.

    Each time worst.. The game is becoming uglier and unpleasant each year. Ultimate Team is pay to win, there is no other way. No news for the others game modes. Unreal moves, unreal, finishings, unreal faints, lost players in the pitch, unbelievable handicap and momentum, etc.. Please, back to basics, back to Fifa 10, back to Fifa 12...

    This is so far the most unplayable fifa game (talking bout online) ever. You can enjoy your offline experience, as the Manager carrer mode is great, but online modes suck ass. There's just no way EA would get out of this without harm. The only thing that might make me buy fifa 20 is Volta mode. Just hope they dont mess this one up, like they did with FUT,

    Worst game ever, so much potential but ruined by the money grabbing business people of EA. Won't be buying again for a long time...

    If we consider this game without remembering the previous parts, the game causes positive emotions.
    There is a story mode, there is a career mode, there are network matches. I liked the career mode for the player the most.

    Com a chegada da champions & correções do seu antecessor, o jogo melhorou bastante. porém o caminho é longo para melhorar. queremos melhorias no modo carreira, ja estamo em 2020, e vejamos que FIFA 19 não foi oque esperavamos, mas tambem não foi ruim. foi um grande game em minha opinião. porem, não entregou oque queriamos!

I have then played FUT. I keep getting a lot of player packages where 95% are with untradeable content. Why do doublets have to block for the opportunity to open new packages?

    Regarding the gameplay it's most of the time almost impossible to defend. Press i.e. the standing tackle button (B) and you'll see your player almost sit down when his direct opponent is long gone. Worst case you'll make a penalty due to the heavy delay! Speaking of penalties, the latest "update" has now removed the arrow showing where you are aiming when taking a penalty => advantage goalkeeper!

    If your opponent suddenly quits then the score as it were will stand. If you're 1-0 up, you'll win, if you're 0-1 down you'll lose, if it's 5-5 it's be a draw - even if it's your opponent that quits!!! Why???

    Be careful if you want to change your tactic during a match. I always use 4-4-1-1(2) but I have to reset my formation before each match. If 1 is very defensive (park the bus), 3 is medium and 5 is all attacking. if I don't reset and I want to press or defend it will automatically switch to a standard 4-4-2 if I choose option 1, 2, 4 or 5. Very annoying!

    Regarding subs, why can you only have 2 while resting further 10 (but not the GK)? Why not make 14 slots available instead of only 12?

    A minor detail is that since I have a decent internet connection, I'm usually the home team (regarding kits) but always playing away from home.

    Finally I want to focus on the beginning ... When you start playing FUT, you'll start with a lousy team with i.e. 40% bronze, 40% silver and 20% gold players and a very poor chemistry level. You play 5 qualification matches where I managed 1 draw and 4 defeats which meant I had to start in division 6 where all my opponents had 86+ squads. So quickly I was in division 9 and had a pretty tough start to FIFA 19 instead of just starting in division 10, slowly build a better squad and then get promoted.

    Due to that special situation I very often find that newbies - who also start in division 6 - quit the match after only a short time as mentioned earlier.

    This is not about FIFA 20, but I have tried it for about a month but gave up. It's even worse (imo). Since the release of FIFA 14 it has been more or less enough to have 1 or 2 good players in order to win a match, not a full team.
    FIFA 19 is FIFA Street on grass (more arcade game than football game). It doesn't matter if you can play good shortpassing or wing play, just learn how to juggle/lift the ball over your opponent and then can't tackle you without making a freekick.    … Expand

    Depuis le 17 les fifa sont horrible, Ea ce fout de nous, c'est n'importe quoi ce jeux, respecté un peu les joueurs.

    This is my personal favourite retro fifa gameplay wise. The graphics are amazing, the through ball based style of meta play, whilst not others cup of tea, certainly suits my playstyle. The Online is great single player wise, and personally this is the only fifa I've truly enjoyed fut in

    FIFA 19 reaffirms the series' strengths, even if some smaller problems, like not so real-like player models and a bad commentary keep it from reaching a better score. It still holds strong thanks to very good and even more refined gameplay, new licenses like UEFA Champion's League and the Italy's Serie A, a more accessible FUT mode and a great soccer feeling overall. Definitely the game to have for soccer fans.

    FIFA 19 is basically the Paul Pogba edition of the series, focusing on creating excitement, showing off and trying to ensure every match is full of memorable moments… the problem is it’s all a bit much at times.
