    Long story short; outstanding game. I have never felt like this before when I was playing the old fifa games. Physics, Defence, Passing, Shooting... etc. Just ignore the crybabies who do not like to play a football simulation. No more: Lob pass through defence. Easy short passes without setting your players balance. Fast paced thin players slip through wall players    Excellent!!!

    Gaming between defence and forward.
    Silly penalties and fouls.
    Defending with forward players like hell. (or get ready to get a lot of yellow cards.)
    Sniper passes when you dont look to the target.

    FIFA 16 is an improvement to FIFA 15, some issues like defending and the pace has been worked on and the game works better now, at the same time more fun than FIFA 15.Played it and it was actually quite good.

You can defence if you learn it.Attackting is better.. The football does not change year to year, so i do not understand what the people want... Pes does not better, it has the same fake like in fifa 15. If you want a cool football game choose fifa, if you want a football game with poor moreale choose pes.… Expand

    PES fanboys can say all they want, but only FIFA has Ultimate Team and women squads!
    Besides, the gameplay has been slightly improved, with new online modes (FUT Draft is smart and great).
    Although PES 16 is a comeback for Konami, it still doesn't come close to FIFA 16, which is a real football simulator and not an easy arcade game.

    This game is really good, and really really hard. Once you adapt to the knew passing system the game is plenty enjoyable though. The game punish's players who are poor passers, and punishes bad decision makers even more. Those who lack deep understanding of football will struggle often.     This is the best FIFA game that I've ever played. I'm writing this review because I see the bad user scores for this game. I don't know why they gave it this bad review. The game is much real now, U can't use a fast player to win, U have to think first before u do anything, The AI system is great, The graphics are amazing, The game is very huge in licenses and u can't get bored in thisThis is the best FIFA game that I've ever played. Or, they're just PES fans coming to troll. 16 is leaps and bounds better than 15 on the pitch. FIFA 16 MUT is great, but new things have been added; you choose a player worth a lot of coins for free in a selection when you first start MUT. Fantastic Idea, but here is a suggestion that should be added:

    Seeing as I've played a few hundred games of this. It would be absurd not to give it a 10/10 just for quality of gameplay. The packs are still horrible though and there are still lag issues with the foreigners that will screw you on important online matches though. If you like soccer though it's a must buy.

    Perfect package for football fans. On pitch a little bit weaker than PES. Official Licence, Options, online Gaming and better referee make FIFA the best choice for Gamers!

    Fifa is back and better then ever!

    Fifa 16 is probably one of the top fifas in a long time. The graphics have improved, more features and mechanics give this game more depth and replay ability. Ultimate Team still enjoyable and really popular (again) New mode fut draft is a great challenge if your up to it. New teams including women's nationals Career mode has been given a good    Fifa is back and better then ever!

    Fifa 16 is probably one of the top fifas in a long time.
    The graphics have improved, more features and mechanics give this game more depth and replay ability.
    Ultimate Team still enjoyable and really popular (again)
    New mode fut draft is a great challenge if your up to it.
    New teams including women's nationals
    Career mode has been given a good boost with training and other good features to mix it up (maybe next time we could get a story mode for player + manager careers)
    Brand new soundtrack with great songs from this year
    Awesome new celebrations have been added to unlock
    Solo, local and online play is just an absolute blast.

    Overall the game is a total recommend from me, the game just gets bigger and better, but this just takes all the cakes with great gameplay.
    If you are going to be spending a lot of time in ultimate team then get the deluxe edition or super deluxe because those will offer you premium gold packs each week.    … Expand

FIFA 16 is here and having played for a week and a half, it's occurred to me that the best games in all genres are those that feel satisfying after pushing you to your limits. This is why FIFA 16 is the most fun and refreshing FIFA in years.

    Oh sure, one can argue the earlier games were more fun when you could take Wilfried Zaha and    So, a new year, a new football season and a new Fifa. FIFA 16 is here and having played for a week and a half, it's occurred to me that the best games in all genres are those that feel satisfying after pushing you to your limits. This is why FIFA 16 is the most fun and refreshing FIFA in years.

    Oh sure, one can argue the earlier games were more fun when you could take Wilfried Zaha and make mince meat out of lumbering centre-backs like Per Mertesacker. But earlier FIFAs were too easy. Pace could be exploited and the game always felt that the winner would be those who had the highest acceleration and sprint speed. FIFA 15 introduced strength adding physicality, but EA have nailed it this years, with players sprinting for the ball in intense, physical jostling that doesn't feel out of place. The whole game is much harder. This is down to much better defensive AI who can read the game better, make more interceptions, and can mark their man better, with just enough mistakes in their game to give you the opportunity to run up to the camera and point to your shirt name. But, goalkeepers are hard to get past, making good reflex saves, even if they come too much for corners. People lament this lack of pace for bringing he game down, but by using the game's natural systems and improving using features, such as the driven pass, the game rewards you for getting better, and punishes you for making fatal mistakes. This is what football is, and the new small features of chants, player stories and new touches and animations, as well as the usual great graphics make it feel immersive for the first time. The game manages to get those emotions you feel watching football, the unrivalled joy of a cupset, the crushing defeat of a loss. It does all of this, and that is what makes FIFA 16 fun.
    Modes have been given slight tweaks which were needed. Career Mode feels much fresher with training being the highlight, preventing any growth issues in your players. Pre-season Tournaments add to this, but with too many headline transfers occurring, it still needs a bit of refinement. Ultimate Team's new mode, FUT Draft, is a great venture, tasking you with winning as many games as you can in a 4 game stretch without losing with the same players picked randomly. It' a fantastic mode which challenges you and lets you play with the best with Messi, Ronaldo, Aguero, Bale, Hazard and other class talent that can be selected. Whilst online modes and other offline modes still need a few tweaks, you can't help but feel EA have managed to breath life into tiring modes that are the most popular.
    I can't sing all of the game's praises though as that is not fair. For one, the crossing had to be tuned down, but it's a point where a perfect chance for a Drogba-esque header turns into a cross ballooned out on the other side for a throw in. It's gone from overpowered to underpowered. Also, whilst mistakes are necessary, it is still a little frustrating to see your Goalkeeper get caught in no man's land at a set piece, or a centre back lose control of the ball for the opposing striker to pounce upon. In addition, Online Servers have been lagging in every match I have played. Whether this is my fault or not remains to be seen, but the fact I don't know is a problem. And finally, the first year for women's football, while okay, could have been better. With friendly matches, online and a tournament as your options, it feels restricted and hopefully, it will open up to see the English WSL and a few more nations.
    FIFA 16 adverts rave about playing beautiful. The game's challenge to the player is simple: Play well enough to win the game. And whilst you may be frustrated at first as I was, you'll soon find yourself relishing the challenge of that tricky away game against a top side. This is football, this is what it means to be challenged in gaming, and FIFA 16 succeeds as you will be challenged. That is how football games should be.    … Expand

    Fifa 16 is more realistic than previous versions of the game, you can no longer abuse high pace players by doing a "y-pass" and run past the defence. This opens up to a new type of gameplay that previous versions of the game have been lacking: true innovating passing and tactical gameplay that relies on skill rather than high pace players. It's worth to have players like Pirlo in yourFifa 16 is more realistic than previous versions of the game, you can no longer abuse high pace players by doing a "y-pass" and run past the defence. It's worth to have players like Pirlo in your midfield because of his high passing stats, in Fifa 15 these types of players just didnt cut it because they lacked high pace.

With the addition of much improved AI, a driven ground pass, and no-touch dribbling, this year's game favors players who know how to pass around and outsmart their opponents. Women's national teams are also a welcome addition.

    Overall, Fifa 16 is well done.
    Positive movements are the better the player, the large scope of the game and the Ultimate Team
    Negative the offline player is as good as getting nothing new.

    Really didnt have much hope in FIFA this year but of course, as every year, i had it pre ordered. I was actually quite surprised when I got the feel of the game, the gameplay feels more realistic by not going at 100mph all game, it feels like closer to a normal pace now, the attackers now actually make runs down the wings when the opportunity is there. Still the better football game out ofReally didnt have much hope in FIFA this year but of course, as every year, i had it pre ordered.     Don't understand all the negative reviews around FIFA, "Its like 15 but with a few improvements" etc etc, of course it is, if you don't like a simulated football game then fine go buy PES but as far as a realistic football game goes, this is as good as you are going to get. The key improvements have made a massive difference and I for one love it!

    the female teams give a great variable playstyle to he game making it fun to play every time The female teams are also faster and overall better in the game. (Thats Funny To Me #SEXISTFIFA) Overall i like the addition to the game with females and the updated graphics don't make it bad.     In my opinion FIFA is great but not alone. i only paly alone sometimes and its till kinda fun.
    BUT i do higly recommend this game IF you have some mates or a girlfriend/boyfriend(I Don't Judge) to play with.

    Really good career mode, I still play it. Much better than the fifas that come after. I only play on semi-pro difficulty so I haven't seen any scripting. Avoid the online parts like ultimate team.

    Juego muy lento, puede parecer que estoy jugando PES, muchos errores en la defensa y la forma de juego cada vez es mas aburrida. Los gráficos son pobres, no explotan todo el potencial de la consola y parece que están estancados desde el 2014.

    Its very easy to commit penalties however regular fouls aren't out of control. The graphics have improved and the FUT ultimate team has also been improved. They turned passing into a skill and not so much as a give me. I feel as if with the improvements they've made with this game they have created a cluster of new problems.     The improvements to FIFA 16 this year are notable in some areas but as a whole it’s starting to feel like the series is getting stagnant, with too much effort being put toward expanding revenue sources rather than delivering innovation that would appeal to a wider audience. Despite that, it's still the most reliable and consistent sports gaming franchise and that holds a lot of weight in the minds of consumers. With FIFA 16, you know you’re playing a really good game, but you might not completely believe it as much as in the past.

    Overall, the core of a highly successful soccer game is in FIFA 16 but there's a niggling sense of "been there, done that," alongside a healthy dollop of "coulda shoulda woulda" that gets in the way. It's just a bit too safe and predictable. FIFA is still the Cup winner, but PES 2016 has made this annual Friendly a more heated affair.

    FIFA has PES beaten when it comes to attention to presentational detail and atmosphere, but maybe that isn't enough anymore. For flowing football, though, you should look elsewhere. [Issue#130, p.71]
