    Feather is a Relaxing Flight Simulator. Is this a game? You are in control of a bird, and you can fly gracefully arond the world. Simple controls make it easy to pick up and play, even so the brief tutorial will pop up everytime you start playing. The world is low end poly, with no texture to speak of. Its like they made the engine, made the models, built the world, then stopped. There isFeather is a Relaxing Flight Simulator. Is this a game? The world is low end poly, with no texture to speak of. Its like they made the engine, made the models, built the world, then stopped. There is absolutely no reason or rhyme. There is nothing to accomplish. Boredom isn't relaxation, it's boredom. There is no other life, with the exception of the occaisonal bird wondering the same thing you are due to the passive multyplayer. Unless you enjoy doing nothing, for no real reason then you might want to at least wait for a sale on this title.… Expand

    Feather is exactly the kind of beautiful, artful experiment that keeps me interested in video games as they evolve!

    It's the antithesis of the average shooter. There is no plot per se, you are a bird flying around a gorgeous painterly landscape. That's all! But not really. There are lovely little touches spread throughout the landscape, and discovering them is half the fun :) I    Feather is exactly the kind of beautiful, artful experiment that keeps me interested in video games as they evolve!

    With Feather, what you see if what you get: an uninhabited fantasy island you can fly around but not interact with in any meaningful way. It’s designed to make you feel relaxed, an attempt to help the player de-stress during a time where that’s extraordinarily difficult to do. It works to some extent but if you’re looking for more beyond what it promotes on the back of the box, you’re probably going to be disappointed. If you’re the kind of player who plays any and all games strictly for their achievements, then Feather offers few barriers to earning them all. Samurai Punk’s Feather is a game built with good intentions and anything that offers a modicum of peace and quiet is certainly one to follow. Just don’t expect a whole lot more.

    Feather on Xbox One is a great example of just how varied video games can be. It’s totally non-typical and provides an experience quite like no other; one that everyone should take a look at.
