    The game could offer more at the start of it's journey and some of the gameplay felt a little awkward, but as the game gets going, and you finally have a feel for things, it's a brilliant and relaxing time riding those waves. I like the game's score and the visuals, but it's the boat, and the scale of the journey you depend on it for, that makes the game work. I like the game's score and the visuals, but it's the boat, and the scale of the journey you depend on it for, that makes the game work. I established a genuine connection with the thing. It's how natural the game feels, how subtle it conditions you into knowing what you must do, how to maneuverer past each new obstacle. There was glee with every new upgrade, not just because it made the boat look cooler or work better, but because retrieving upgrades and attaching them to your boat required effort in and of itself, and was always necessary to proceed.

    I had a good time in this lonely melancholic world it places you in, and do you know why? I had that sweet boat.

    FAR: Changing Tides es un bonito juego indie donde debemos emprender un viaje, de destino incierto, a través de un mundo desolado. El juego no nos deja claro que ha pasado, pero todo está inundado, por lo que para viajar debemos navegar en nuestra improvisada nave a través de diferentes situaciones. No habrá combates, el juego se centra en las plataformas y la resolución de puzzles paraFAR: Changing Tides es un bonito juego indie donde debemos emprender un viaje, de destino incierto, a través de un mundo desolado. El juego no nos deja claro que ha pasado, pero todo está inundado, por lo que para viajar debemos navegar en nuestra improvisada nave a través de diferentes situaciones. No habrá combates, el juego se centra en las plataformas y la resolución de puzzles para superar los escollos que tendremos en el camino y conseguir las mejoras para nuestra nave con las que superar los problemas que nos encontremos.

    El punto fuerte del juego es su diseño artístico. En ocasiones parece que estemos admirando un libro de cuentos infantil, con escenas de las desoladas ruinas y parajes que debemos atravesar. Un juego tranquilo, bonito y no demasiado largo con el que disfrutar de una aventura pausada y contemplativa. Perfecto para un fin de semana de relax absoluto.    … Expand

    You just want to like the game with its style when you get in, but you struggle to stick it out once you've been through it for a while. The interruptions from chapter to chapter are huge and almost silent, the tasks very repetitive, and other than finding switches, there's just too little happening overall.

    Even with slight hiccups like this, I still adored my time with Far: Changing Tides.
